  1. You may be able to fine a stud that will work through Dorman: http://www.dormanproducts.com/catalog/hardware2006/355-359_Sec17_Part1.pdf
  2. I got a late season deal on two newer skis so I am offering these up for a quick sale so I don't have to store two sets. Sorry, no pics yet, time ran out on me today. I will be out of town through Wednesday 10/15, then I will see if I can get some pictures over the weekend. Basically it's two of these: http://boats.iboats.com/1994-yamaha-wave-raider-two-seater-75-hp-701cc-dawsonville-ga/1271286.html (not mine - just to give you an idea of what they look like) They are 700cc 2 cylinder 2 stroke skis, oil injection still hooked up and working. Decent cosmetics but not perfect. Both run well, had fresh plugs and filters less than 10 hours ago - total hours on skis unknown. One smokes a bit on initial start until warm. Instruments work, burn about a gallon of fuel an hour (your results may vary) - 6 gallon tank. $2500 for all if they sell by the first part of November, otherwise I will store them and relist them in the Spring for more $$$.
  3. This... Especially from a community ostensibly supportive of motorsports. Red Bull has spent so much on sponsorship in an area that should be important to us and yet some want to suckle at the free tit even more. But stand by - most frivolous lawsuit title could be short lived. I saw an ad the other day from some lawyer folks looking to get class action status against an automotive headlight bulb manufacturer who claimed they could be installed in as little as three minutes. My guess is all the Mongos that couldn't figure it out had their time wasted and now want to be compensated for their valuable time.
  4. Looking for a set of 4 stock alloy wheels/caps to fit Windstar/Taurus/Sable in 15" or 16". Need a set to mount up winter tires. Let me know if you've got anything sitting around and a price. Thanks.
  5. This is the car built by Cars & Concepts for then owner/VP Dave Draper/Dick Chrysler to take to the 1980 24 hours of Daytona. The car appears on the race entry list, but is listed as a "DNS" Did not Start". The car appeared at car shows in support of Cars & Concepts, from the photos with the car it appears to have been driven/tested by Car Craft magazine at some point. I have been the caretaker of this car for going on 4 years and a lot of the "heavy lifting" to return it to its original street/race trim is done - a lot of detail work is left, but I no longer have the inspiration and enthusiasm to finish it. Thread on the history of the car up to and through my tenure is here: http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123634 Pictures of the car on the last page of that thread show its current state. The car has a clean Ohio title showing 7xxx original miles. The car is virtually rust free save for some surface rust from storage and some rust on the radiator support (replacement for original that was modified to fit the fiberglass bodywork that was on the car when I got it). Motor: 383 Dart headed small block built by Dart engines (with build and dyno sheets - car was only autocrossed a few seasons after install Transmission: Turbo 400, believed to be B&M built, but no documentation Suspension: Stage 3 Cheverra with 9" Ford rear end w/5.xx gear, "Nascar" style front hubs, Hurst Airheart Disc brakes, Herb Adams springs/sway bars/front structuring kit Race Equipment: Full cage, 22 gallon ATL fuel cell, Cibie Headlamps & Marchal driving lamps (covers for both) in custom fiberglass nose. Aluminum 4 core radiator (stock radiator included) Corbeau Mk 8 seats, original (way outdated) Bob's Safety equipment window net and belts Other Stuff: Real Lite Racing wheels (6) - 4 ea. 16 x 12, 2 ea. 16 x 10, 2 spare rim halves (could make up 16 x9 ? rims). 4 ea. 16" steel wheels with race rain tires (width unknown - tires are junk). Dry Break for fueling, spare 4:11(?) center section, multiple frt springs, F&R sway bars, misc spares. I was reassembling the car into its original configuration for the Daytona race. The car still has the last autocross suspension set up on it, but the original VSE bars & springs are in the spares, also included is the original twin single master cylinders w/balance bar (corvette master cylinder w/adj bias on car now). The new owner will get everything above plus all the original photos of the build/history (most of the ones you see if you search for "Cheverra" on the web) and many more. Also all the documentation and an unbuilt AMT 1/25 scale model kit that features this car. Car is running - main work (get it on the street) still needed: 1) Mount seats 2) Dash Assembly - original dash was lost. Replacement was in poor shape (has cover) but many of the instrument cluster mounting tabs are gone 3) Bleed brakes/change fluids 4) Clean up some wiring 5) Install blower motor / some vent hook ups 6) Interior trim work I am asking $14,000 for everything (rust free 7K mile tub, relatively fresh 383 small block, full stage 3 Cheverra kit, fuel cell, race wheels & more) Some small spares could be pated out, but the main car and all its original parts are a 1 of 1). Would be great for SCCA's new CAM (classic American muscle) class. Car is in Columbus, OH - I would prefer not to ship it if possible.
  6. If you don't know Rich and this car, but want to be at the pointy end of the field - call him. This car has had the best of everything and meticulously maintained & upgraded. You will not get a nationally competitive car AND all the spares you will likely need for less money - nor will you ever replicate it for the price. (no, Rich did not pay me to write this - he spent it on the car)
  7. I know someone that has a tubing bender....... I have a welder..... We have a source for tubing..... Call.
  8. Bump - new "bottom line" CR price: $500 (otherwise I'll just keep it till Spring and move it then)
  9. I have a clear title - other than it IS marked "Odometer Discrepancy" - I didn't notice it on the original....but hey, it's a scooter.
  10. Picked this up in a trade - no room in the trailer for me to use as a pit bike so.... 1984 Honda Aero 80 Scooter - decent scooter, has some paint fading and some scratches, but all there and it all works (lights, turn signals, horn, electric start, etc) - still has the factory windscreen intact. Runs good - seat has been taped up and tires are older, but a cheap pit bike or gas saving commuter. Odometer shows a little over 6K miles - title shows about 7400 and is marked "Odometer Discrepancy"....Asking $650 CR Price $500 cash FIRM, CL ad with pics here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/4619478945.html
  11. Pace High Carryout (Pacemont & N High St in Clintonville). Like Gentile's in Grandview, one of the first places in town (30+ years ago) to be known for carrying a huge selection of beers. I have not been in for some time, but I hear they have 6 growler taps now too.
  12. Were you speeding? Probably. Were you going 80? Maybe, maybe not. Bullshit ticket? Yes and no. 1) You don't need the added expense of an attorney 2) You as a citizen have a right to take it to trial guilty or not The reality here is it's not really all bout "public safety", it's about revenue. If it were about safety, why didn't the officer concern himself with the erratic driver(s)? (and yes I drive 315 in that area clear down to 670 and there are LOTS of true safe driving issues) Speeding tickets are quick and easy to write and can bring in a good bit of cash. 315 is obviously a great place to make money as on any day you will see not only Worthington, but Sharon Twp & CPD all working that stretch from 161 to Bethel Rd (multiple jurisdictions in that few mile stretch). Show up for the hearing early and well dressed. Speak to the prosecutor politely and explain the situation. You had your pregnant wife in the car, sped up to get clear of a slow erratic driver, but didn't think you were going that fast. Odds are you get it reduced to no points (so you don't get dinged on insurance for years following (the REAL cost), but will still get a fine to pay (city must have it's revenue - and you likely were speeding). The city really isn't concerned about the insurance companies profits. Typically this type of ticket is more about the revenue stream than anything else.
  13. I had these guys do my house: http://mygutterguy.com/ Had good reviews from several neighbors, did nice work. Don't know that they were the cheapest, but I felt is was reasonable.
  14. Possibly try posting here: http://www.corvetteforum.com/
  15. Vintage Sportech Golf Swing analyzer - was the hot item on the PGA tour in the '80's. 1984 Sport Illustrated article here: http://www.si.com/vault/1984/06/04/620109/you-want-to-understand-your-golf-swing-this-new-gadget-might-help Has a platform (aprox 4'x4' - folds) and a "computer" (about the size of an old arcade video game cabinet) - Unit powers up but I have been unable to figure out a code that will actually open the program to run, It was free to me - I was told it did operate when stored, but no info on the procedures were available. It appears the touch pad MAY be the issue. Links to pics below: https://imageshack.com/i/paf45a42j https://imageshack.com/i/f0ec45e8j Golfing computer geeks anywhere???? All I ask is if you get it to work, I want to hit a few balls off it just to say I did!!! If interested, bring a friend and a truck to load. I will post this on CL next week if no one is interested
  16. TTT - Update - motor has a TZ250 top end / RD250 bottom end. No time to work on this with the new race car her so...... Reposted on CL here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/snw/4558233249.html CR cash deal $1000 before I drain the fuel and hang it on the wall for decoration!
  17. CL link for pics: http://columbus.craigslist.org/boa/4577030416.html CL Text: Jet Ski storage stands / repair stands / display stands - two wood stands w/casters. Approx, 48" long, 24" wide and 24" tall - very sturdy. I used these to store two Yamaha Waverunners inside when I didn't have room for the trailer. Would also make good repair stands, or just an easy way to move jetski's around off the trailer. Built to a height that was close to my old trailer's berths so they could be slid over to the stands when needed. Asking $70 for the pair or will separate at $30 ea. CR DEAL: $50 for the pair - could use the space!
  18. Looking for one of those universal rear wings - two pedestal mounts, 48" -55" wide, one or two elements in either aluminum or carbon fiber. Something like these: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=car+spoilers%2c+aluminum&qpvt=car+spoilers%2c+aluminum&FORM=IGRE Let me know what you got and a price. I also need to know width and depth of the wing. (no I haven't lost all my sanity. Need one of these as an experimental front wing on the sports racer)
  19. SOLD! Lock it up - car has gone to the NE US to go Chump racing.
  20. I purchased two sets of these from Tire Rack this spring for the Camaro. The new owner is going Chumpcar racing and can't use them sooo.... 1 set - NEW - mounted on wheels but never on a car 1 set - 3 autocrosses, properly heat cycled before being run on Details on tires below: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Ventus+Z214&partnum=55ZR6Z214C71OLD&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes Over $1000 w/taxes and shipping, asking $750 for all or $450 for the NEW set $300 for the "used" set Great tire for factory 16" wheels on F-bodys, also Corvette's. Hancook offers a "medium" compound as well, but I was planning to run these for track days as well.
  21. Factory GM TPI set up including fuel rails/injectors. Runners have been ball ported (plenum & intake ends cut then large steel ball bearings pressed through to stretch the runners-opens them up to about the "as cast" size of many "performance" runners), lower intake received a minor clean up and plenum was opened up. Sorry, no pics - looks like a stock TPI from the outside. Asking $100 for everything.
