Two sets of blue Momo Corse (Momocorse) street harnesses. 2" clip in 4 point mount (lap and shoulder harness). Not legal for wheel to wheel competition as they do not have FIA tags or date codes. Nice fixed length set for drift / autocross / street. See pictures here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/5446183200.html $100 for the two sets

Yes, there are autocross classes for the vee. Yes, it could be run at Mid Ohio. Depending on the age and how original, the value / best course might be vintage racing. Pics and a manufacturer would help determine which way to go....and if logboo, s are still with the car that is a big help.

A few excerpts from their "methodology": "23 out of 43 brands monitored appear on the list and brands with zero reported lemons are not included on the list" So...if no one has a complaint, you are disqualified??? “By normalizing the data based on overall vehicle production statistics, we believe we’re giving more reliable statistics,” says Colum Wood, VP of Content at Verticlascope Inc. “This formula helps to give some real-world relevance to the numbers and makes sure that higher volume brands, which are statistically more likely to have more reported lemons, aren’t penalized" But..."Ram" is a brand separate than Chrysler, but Chevy and Ford trucks are not separate from the car brands? Or are they the ones that had no complaints and as such don't appear??? "Less critical are the actual numbers, and more important is the ranking" Or, figures don't lie, but liars figure - our results reflect what we want you to see. More mental masturbation to make owners of Toyotas and Hondas feel good about their (mostly) soul less cars...bet there's some rousing debates over the excitement of driving a Camry vs. an Accord on their sites!!:woowoo:

Thanks Clay - I'll see what the "orange cone schedule" shapes up to be and if possible, try to bring something by when it warms up!

As a casual onlooker who has driven by (on my way to SCCA autocrosses) I think Doc hits the nail on the head. My only .02 (and maybe this is done already) would be a place for folks with race cars (non street legal) that want to bring them out could park with their trailer and roll a car out the back. I don't have anything that interesting that I drive on the street. Maybe two rows of parking spaces with the aisle blocked off - pull straight through and park your racer in one space right behind your tow rig. Other than that - KISS seems like a good plan!

Clay, I have an AprilAir system as well - don't know the model but I "think" most are similar similar. The system is pretty basic.... 1) Power across solenoid and it opens - solenoid OK 2) Check manual "Humidistat" switch - continuity tester across the two wires, turn knob and see if it goes from "infinity" to continuity at some setting (If continuity go to #3 - if not switch is bad or humidity is too high in the house) 3) Check for power to the Humidistat (if no power - go to #4) 4) Mine has a small transformer for power for the Humidifier - check for power at the transformer with HVAC on - if no power it's then likely a problem with the furnace power/wiring not supplying a signal that it is "on". Good Luck!

Yes, a road race truck from the old SCCA Coors Series (sort of - see below). Pro IT winner with lots of spares. Chump Car? One of a kind track day beast? Vintage racing legal (I am told) - piss off the big dollar guys with this one! More details below including spares list: 1993 Nissan D21 Race Truck, KA24E, 5 speed, full cage, fuel cell, NISMO frt torsion bars, dearched rear springs w/spacers, "finned" shocks (Carrera?), Centerline wheels w/older Hancook 225/45R-15 tires, header, cold air intake, oil cooler, remote oil filter. Engine is allegedly built by Sunbelt" for Nissan w/higher compression and non-stock cam (specs unknown). Has locker/limited slip rear diff alleged to be 5.xx gear. Stillen air dam and fabricated aluminum bed cover, Lexan windshield 3 logbooks included with truck. Original book/build was a 1987 chassis and was raced in SCCA Coors Race Truck Challenge in 1987 & 1988 (independent). Truck was allegedly heavily damaged and "rebodied" to it's current form at some point (logbooks do not show incident). 1989 Ruan G.P. is the last Coors race. First logbook picks up again in 1995 as a Pro IT ("ITT").thru September 1996. 2nd & 3rd logbooks list the 1993 VIN and new roll cage number. I have checked to see if the old cage number is still present. 2nd logbook picks up with JUN'97 annual tech and goes thru till March of '02 (Annual Tech). 3rd logbookcontinues from March '02 thru November of '07. 2nd & 3rd books all appear to be Pro IT (ITT). Truck starts, runs, drives. Motor feels strong - runs cool, no smoke/noise - I have not done a leakdown test and it is assumed the motor hasa good bit of race time on it. Truck weighs in at 2733 on my scales w/"some" fuel in tank. At minimum truck will need fluids changed, nut/bolt check, fresh tires and alignment check/corner weights checked before racing. Belts and window net are out of date. No fire system, just a fire bottle next to driver. Spare Parts Listing QTY Description Notes 1 Engine Motor on stand Long block w/valve cover, condition unknown 1 Body Stillen Air Dam used spare - matches one on truck 4 Wheels Alum "slotted" wheels Used "dirt stocker" tires (old) 4 Wheels Alum "blade" wheels bare 3 Wheels Alum centerline fakes Used Goodyear rains (old) 3 Wheels Steel spoke (chrome) junk tires 3 Cams Misc used cams "non-stock" grinds 2 Heads 1 bare/1 partial bare head has damage / partial is missing some valvetrain pieces 2 F Rotors Bare rotors - good used 2 Rotors/Hubs Rotors mounted on hubs w/caps good used 2 Front Corner RF & LF "corners" Lower control arm/spindle/rotor/caliper 1 Diff 3.89 Open center section seems to be good used 1 Diff 3.54 Open center section seems to be good used 1 Diff 4.625 Open center section Noisy, loose gear mesh - lots of backlash 2 Diff welded w/unknown ratio Pinions stripped on both - cases/bearings/carrier OK? 1 Transmission 5 speed (?) Formula Ford is still a huge class with SCCA. However, the guys at the front of the field are running much newer chassis with inboard suspensions and aluminum heads on the Fords or the new Honda Fit engine. This chassis would be suitable (and competitive) in "Club Formula Ford" - cars with outboard suspension front and rear (shocks outside the bodywork). This is a regional class with SCCA and bigger with some other organizations. FRCCA - Formula Race Car Club of America is big on the east coast on only runs formula cars. It would also be legal in some vintage organizations (SVRA? HSCR? ). It could also be built to run autocross events - the formula fords are almost a "spec class" in SCCA as C-Modified cars. Van Diemen is a well recognized manufacturer - and over 200 of this chassis were built (this is chassis #259 of the RF78 series). "RF78" indicating a 1978 model year chassis.

Thanks Kale, but that's the OTHER car I need to sell!
-
Van Diemen RF78 Formula Ford, updated to RF79 bodywork & front radiator. No logbooks - car is being sold as a "slider" - No engine, gearbox or wheels. Wiring, most plumbing, fire system are all still intact. Belts are out of date. Car has been sitting since approx.'05 - and was not stored well. It would make a great parts car for a racer or restorer, or a significant project to bring back to race trim. This was one of two cars we bought and the decision was made to focus on the other chassis. Asking $2500 Pictures here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5248620044.html

Here's your chance to own a true purpose built race car and run with the real fast kids for about the price of a good used BRZ/FRS! After playing with two DSR's this season, I have decided to offer the Prince (the car in my sig) for sale and focus on our Wheeler chassis. The Prince has been configured for B-Mod autocross / Solo II. It is an 80" wheelbase car, 60" overall width and is right at minimum weight. Most all the hard work is done. Some details remain, but it is a VERY solid car. 1990 Prince SR5 DSR (one of one) Includes homologation certificate and logbooks to day one) 2002 Yamaha YZF R1 w/Power Commander V & Auto Tune (car comes with spare complete low mile motor as well) Taylor Racing Torsen type limited slip differential & mount (original spool type diff included w/car) Wheels: 3 pc modular Keiser Kosmos, 6” F, 8” R – spare set of steel wheels (same sizes) included Koni Shocks New molded plastic “enduro fuel cell” installed by P.O. New AGM battery this year Includes misc spare suspension pieces (and stuff) along with original rear wing and mounts. Pat Prince tells me he still has all the drawings and can reproduce parts for tha car if needed. Car was weighed last year and was at minimum with 200 lb driver and full tank of fuel. Over the winter the engine was lowered and moved to the left and forward. Also, as much wiring and misc components were moved to the left side of the car for better balance (Right Hand drive but with RH shifting as well). I have not had the car back on the scales this year. $16,000 firm – priced for what I have in the car in parts (Free labor!). If I can’t get that out of it, I will keep it and it will just take some more time to finish the other projects I have in house already. Car is in Columbus, OH and I would prefer not to ship it. I MAY be able to help with delivery. Pictures here: http://s1286.photobucket.com/user/jc...Sports%20Racer

Posted with pics on CL here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/boa/5189925020.html Full text here: A "matched pair" of Yamaha GP1200 skis (sequentially numbered hulls and registrations). Both have less than 140 hours on them. 1 year old batteries and registrations just renewed this year (good for three years). Both skis have some cosmetic issues - one needs new mats, both have some bad spots on the seats and are missing the "glove box" covers. Both skies have covers, full oil and fuel tanks and are ready to ride. Trailer bearings were repacked, new LED lights and front wiring harness all installed this year. Tires are older and likely should be replaced before too long (though I did tow these to Pt. Clinton and back this year). We upgraded to these from two older, smaller skis last year. We just do not have the time to use them. Selling now so someone may be able to get some use yet this season and do the "cosmetics" over the winter. If not, I will finish them up and sell for more next Spring. Asking $4250 - clear titles for both in hand No haggle CR Price: $3500 (or like it says, I'll do a little work and sell for more in the Spring)

Thanks Kerry. Exact engine is still not finalized though a '06 up ZX14 is near the top of the list or '10 up Suzuki 1300. Rice Paddy has me on their "wish list" (they have been good to me on some smaller stuff I've needed - but they don't see real new stuff that often). I do watch Goodwill & VOA auctions, but again, late model stuff is typically not their thing. We are running an '02 Yamaha R1 in one car and an older ZX11 (carbs) in the other. I have a F.I. ZX10, but may take the 100 lb weight penalty in the KAW powered car (it's heavy anyway) and go with more displacement.

Thanks Doc - I'll PM him and see what he has to say.
