Looking for most of the interior for my new project. I do not need seats or seat belts. I do need: Dash Pad / parts (I have instuments) Door panels w/armrests Plastic trim, sail panels, kick panels Center console Let me know if you've got any stuff - old race car "take outs" would be great! I know repops are available, but would prefer gently used as the car is not being put back to "show quality", more "survivor".

The Cars & Conceps Cheverra is now in Columbus!
craig71188 replied to craig71188's topic in Passing Lane
It is not in "street legal" trim right now, but yes, in the original C&C configuration it will be a street legal car. -
I am pleased to announce I now have one of the "cars of my youth". I was always into the Trans Am's and Herb Adams VSE modified cars (Fire-AM / Cheverra). I ran across this car and was able to pruchase it: http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123634&highlight=Cheverra The car was in a CL ad in Detroit and is still in C-Prepared autocross trim. Currently it has a Dart Heads built 385 and a T400 (they will stay). The car also has a "Hairy Glass" http://www.hairyglass.com/ one piece lightweight fiberglass nose and hood (soon to be "for sale"), but also included were all the original sheet metal pices as well as a fiberglass nose custome built for the car. All the original Stage 3 Cheverra suspension is there as are many other performance pieces that were tried on the car. Also included were many photos from the original build at C&C. I will be posting some pictures once we get everything unpacked and things get underway. I need to clear some space - and sell some stuff to raise some cash to continue at this point, I stretched my luck with the wife buying this one, though she seems more excited about it now. I am also in need of most of a tan interior for a 1979-1980 Z28, that is the one are where a lot of stuff is missing. I would also like to round up any old magazine articles on the car - please check you old magazines (those of you that are old enough to have 1979-1980 issues ) More news to follow...

Remote filter mounts are "universal". You do need to buy the correct "adapter" that screws on in place of your original filter. You will also need for fabricate lines from that adapter to the remote filter mount (and back).

And to top it off, the shipping from Poland would be a bitch!

Depends on how long the pieces are cut - Full Cord = 4' x 4' x 8' of wood, usually about 24" long cuts, it's two stacks 4' tall and 8' long. What many people think is a cord is often a "face cord" or a single stack of wood 4' long, 8' tall (again assuming a 24" cut)
-
I got mine too - and when promised, and no pine. But, it's not a full cord of wood it's a 6' pickup bed - a little less than a face cord. Not the worst price in the world, but nowhere near a cord. The part that irritated me was when I called Stephen and said he should change his post or make it right - like a second load at n/c - he said he could do that. Now almost 2 weeks later, no return calls, no returned PM's, no extra wood (and I offered to pick it up). My bad for paying for it first, so I'm not going to press the issue, but just so you know what you are really buying.

The FrostTop distributor down of Frank Rd. will sell direct by the case. I stop in occasionally and get a full case of the 1 liter plastic bottles. They also have the Creme Soda and the Orange Creme (think creamsicle in a bottle) as well.

If you don't mind "good used" - you might try these guys: Columbus Camera Group 55 East Blake Columbus, OH Just a little north of campus east of High St. in an old church. Lots of pro quality gear, old stuff, and some used digital stuff as well.

Also may want to consider where you will be working - and where you will be coming from to get there. This time of year - no problem. In the summer the areas around and into Cedar Point are a traffic nightmare. The locals know some ways around them, but it may be worth you while to come in a different way. Just something to look at.... (yes, my wife grew up in Sandusky)

Read the right side of the chart as well - Democrats controlled the House & Senate for the vast majority of the time. Second, they're all politicians - money is power to them.
-
Why I feeled compelled to waste more time on this I'll never know... 1) The major driver in the whole "economic meltdown" & "Lending crisis" revolved around subprime mortages - read Fannie May & Freddie Mac - primarily controlled by Democratic appointees - have you seen any investigation or reform of this group? The sub prime mortgages were there to help people who "couldn't afford" mortgages get them - when the ecomy slowed they just walked away. This should have been the first house to be reformed and cleaned out - still waiting..... 2) If you are hugely in debt, would you say the best thing you could do is spend even more even faster??? That was the Obama administration's plan with the "stimulus". Oh yea, and a bunch still hasn't been spent, it's waiting around as a "slush fund" for the Democrats to dole out around election time..... 3) How about the gulf oil spill. Read Bobby Jindall's book about how Obama and his staff made it a media event - and told him more or less that Obama's response was more geared toward looking good in the polls rather than anything else. 4) Obama has never had a "real" job, never ran a city or state government, was only in the Senate a short time and voted "present" on a large percentage of his votes - what experience does he have??? 5) N Korea attacks S Korea - president is aware at 4:00 am, decides to call a press conference at 9:00 pm, cancels less than an hour before and decides to call S. Korean president. Not a clue what to do or how to make a decision. 6) I guess how some in other countries see us now pretty much sums it up. The quote below is from a Czech Republic publication: "The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.." As to Nancy Pelosi - just look up the articles on her "need" for a bigger plane to fly her old ass around the country, along with all her friends, family and contributors - and the associated expenses. She is a public servant - not the princess of the United States. And as Infidel mentions, none of what I have written gets into any of the assaults on the Constitution this group has perpetrated....

I did stumble on to an old Bear Tigercat recurve bow 40# pull (circa 1978) the other day. Thought I might use it, but just not enough hours in the day. Haven't got around to posting it up, but if someone is interested - $75 with a quiver of about 18 wood target point arrows, arm shield and 'three finger" glove. Bow is strung, a little "storage wear" but no delamination and the limbs look straight.

Too many guns? What is too many guns? I do not understand this concept.

John Force tells it like it is. One of my favorites (paraphrased) "I grew up in a trailer park and now I still live in a trailer park - only the trailers are much nicer" (refering to the motor home "parks" at races)
