Don't know the diameter off hand, but Ford vans/pickups late '80's to mid '90's had some pretty long air tubes.... NEVER MIND - Read all the post first - DUH!

You know, for the price of a set of those tires, you could get a kart. One that you and Ashley could both drive..... The dark side is calling..... A cheaper way to FTD....... See you Saturday! -

If it were me, I'd run the 82T. We try and run a pretty "flowing" course, so more top end should be preferable. -

Checked DLB Racing (I've been a "chief" for so long I didn't remember) - it shows "New SCCA Member $38.00". With the new rules everyone has to be a member (temporary as needed) to run. Not real cheap, but better than $55! That's preregistered, I don't know if it's any more registering that morning. I don't think so, but not sure. -

I think that's plenty low - I think the kids are running mid 80T rears, not sure on fronts, but 11T is pretty small. -
Second to the last autocross of the year for OVR is this Saturday at Trails. Registration is up on DLB racing and closes Thursday @ midnight Last event is two weeks later (Points Event #11) on Saturday Oct. 31st - also at Trails.

Well, I hope the president's agenda fails.... 30+ czars appointed with no oversight, most with some very radical pasts? Failing to keep us afloat, like spending 4 times what Busch spent and still trying to go for more in less than a year.... Apologizing for the US being a strong country every time he speaks to a foreign audience..... Talking about our 25% consumption of resources from only 4% of the population (without mentioning how much of the world we feed, the medicines we develop and give away to third world countries, the lives our youth have given to fight oppression)...... Yes he won the Nobel Prize - for NOT being George Bush, and for being an apologist for our country. BTW - this is the man who avowed "personal responsibility" in is campaign, and one of his first acts - extend the deadline for the switch to digital television, because people couldn't be "personally responsible" enough to get their free government converter in time! Yes, I hope his agenda fails, even as the children of our country are taught to sing his praises: Barack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm!!!!! __________________

+1 - You don't change the state constitution to say exactly who and where you build casinos. I have no problem with casinos in Ohio, let people gamlbe here and and keep the money in state. Since we need to change the state constitution to do it, at minimum, the bill should be something to the effect: The state shall allow up to (insert number here) casinos to be licensed in the State of Ohio. Said licenses will be sold to the highest bidder with a minimum annual fee of (insert x million here). Licenses will be renewable by the license holder every (insert years here) and the licensing fee collected annually. After that, turn the state legislature loose to clean up the details. As I understand it, the guy running all the ads against the casino bill last time (because he wasn't included to get a casino), got "written in" to this sweatheart deal, and now, little or no opposition. Let's have casinos - but do it the right way.

Mine are all still in - no problems and pushing 50. My dentist looks at the x-rays every year or two, asks me if I have any problems, I haven't, on we go.

Anyone have experience with this gasket-maker?
craig71188 replied to Science Abuse's topic in Tech and Tips
I've used Hylomar on and off for years. Primarily for gearboxes that had to come apart often for gear changes. It stays "gel-like" so you can disassemble and reassemble parts without destroying gaskets. Can also be used instead of a gasket on matched machined surfaces. Tends to be a bit expensive, but worth it in these specific applications. -
As a recovering former X1/9 owner (x3), and SCCA'r, welcome aboard. As previously mentioned REAL racers are almost always a good thing!!! Your shop is on Oakland Park in the old auto parts store?

You say your rooms in the basement? Don't worry about the candles, the radon will get you first.

+1 Welfare is not only NOT a right, you are not REQUIRED to participate. If you CHOOSE to participate, then you must comply with the rules of the program. Those program rules should include drug testing for illegal drugs, minimum amount of volunteer service each week and monthly visits to a counselor to help you with your job search. If you don't want to do these things, then don't participate in the program.

I had a thought last night - what would be great would be a grassroots issue on the November ballot to repeal the income tax. I don't know the particulars about submission time and signatures required, but it would be great to see Coleman and the city council have to run against this issue. It has been said this is the REAL reason they needed to spend half a million dollars on a special election.
-
I would like to clarify - it was a scare tactic to make the choice of cutting safety services instead of waste in the city government. In fact it should be considered criminal.
-
Too many people in Columbus don't pay income tax (welfare, retired, etc) so many just vote yes because of the typical political scare tactics. Coleman's loyalty to the unions will result in more businesses and taxpayers leaving the city, and then they will want more money from the few left who actually still pay taxes.

The primary problem is Autozone carries a lot of crap brands. O'Reilly's, or even Advance (on most stuff) are the better "retail" choice. NAPA has far too many price levels to deal with. Smyth Parts Plus now has three locations in town - none with retail storefronts, but generally good brands at decent prices.

OK - I found the Trackaddicts sight and created a sign in - waiting on confirmation. Thanks for the post AJ - we'll see what happens....

Interested - Model number? Type (pump / over-under / etc)?

Could you use one more old but experienced crew member? (maybe a driver?) Over 30 years experience in endurance racing (IMSA / Escort-Playboy Series / Longest Day). I'm getting ready to go up and crew for the 12 hour in a couple of weeks, but wanted to do a Lemons race with someone else before I prepare my own car. BTW - 100 cars to start???? I remember near pandemonium when we were starting 50-55 back at the height of Longest Day. That's a lot of cars on a two mile track - although I would guess it thins out rather quickly!!! Anyway, shoot me a PM if you could use some help, I also have two additional "seasoned" crew people I could bring.
