  1. If you want "old school" I have three different sets of 15x7's. 1 set of aluminum slots 1 set of centerline look (8 holes, fake rivets) 1 set of directional "blade" style (triangular slots) You can have any one set for $250
  2. Stand by... The progress seems to be slow largely because of issues with the EPA & township (so I was told). The new owner is supposedly a Ferarri (dealer/collector/???) guy and wants to have offices and a place to store/show his collection. More seems to be coming...
  3. I don't know what has been done (yet). I had a chance to talk with the "manager" last year at a an event and he mentioned they originally planned to take out tires walls and grind the tires and then use the rubber as part of the repave and the tire carcasses for drainage. The issue was the EPA could tell them how to dispose of the old tires, but not how to handle the carcasses as a drainage aid.... As the track is paved and the tires are still there....who knows.
  4. For those who have not been following the Nelson Ledges story. The track was purchased a couple of years back and improvements have been (very) slowly happening (largely due to township and EPA red tape from what I was told). That said, many of the old buildings at the entrance were removed, many trees at Oak Tree corner and in the center of the Carousel have been removed and now a full repaving is complete (video link below). What was once one of the fastest average speed tracks in the are will likely now be faster. Word on the ChumpCar racing forum is negotiations are already underway for LONG race next year Drone video of track before repaving - but after tree removal: Drone video of track repaved (some "stills" at beginning of each video):
  5. 1) You probably have metal shavings all through the system unless you flushed it, they will likely find their way into the new compressor and damage it. 2) If you didn't replace the accumulator/receiver dryer, the desiccant will be shot and will not work to keep the system dry 3) If it is an orifice tube system, this too is likely plugged with metal shavings Slapping a compressor on and throwing refrigerant at it is a sure way to spend more money replacing the compressor again (and again) until you REALLY fix the system.
  6. Craigslist price lowered -CR NET $8500 Will separate trailer and/or may do individual kart packages
  7. Hello, JC Whitney? I'll take one (or more) of everything you have for a K car!
  8. So after gathering all this stuff back together again, the reality has set in that I do not have time for these and the Chump effort and the sports racer. Karts are the lowest priority, so I am going to offer it ALL up. If you (and a friend) want to play with these, this is EVERYTHING you will need (save for some consumables - brake pads, fluids) for YEARS. (2) 2003 Italkart Supersonic Chassis, spares, tools, safety gear, enclosed trailer $9500 Details and pics here: https://columbus.craigslist.org/snw/6111350314.html
  9. So is the 12" dimension the height? (width and depth are not as critical)
  10. Dimensions of body that has to go into window opening (primarily height)? Daughter has a "short" window opening and needs a unit. Thanks
  11. Try this: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/stxbr-renaissance-st-croix-carambola-beach-resort-and-spa/ Wife and I were there in March. 4 unit villas spread along the beach. Food was OK on site, but we hit all kinds of local restaurants, never ate inside 4 walls all week. St Croix is NOT touristy except a little bit in downtown Christiansted.
  12. Shifter Kart: TM ICC 125 motor, but what chassis/year? 40mm or 50mm axle? Spares? Thanks!
  13. Probably not myself, but if you have some of the names of the previous owners I MAY know one of them from "back in the day" and can possibly put you in touch?
  14. I am looking to buy a rusty parts truck. I need the following: HG46 rear diff (limited slip) 4 cyl OBDII harness/computer Obviously I'll scrounge any spare bodywork/windshield for spares for the truck, but I primarily need the center section for the diff. Rusty frame, blown motor, no problem, just priced accordingly!

  18. I use Tire Rack for most all my tires (street & race), Yes, I have the "local hook up" for mounting and balancing too. My experience is they have name brand tires for the price of the off brands locally. Factor in the local mount and balance costs (vs. free for me) and it more than offsets the shipping. As several have mentioned, if you're an enthusiast, they have the 200TW tire selection and the 40TW tires that no one locally will typically stock. As for the "mini-van moms", they often just want a hassle free experience with a known shop vs. having to go to someone else for tires. For a shop that wants to be in the tire business without stocking tires, I think Tire Rack is a no-brainer.
  19. Plan is to focus on the Chump Car events....but, if I get one or both of the shifter karts freshened up I may be out. Besides, Circleville IS a kart track, right?
  20. Pulled from a 108K mile car. Car was not running when we bought it so transmission is "untested". Was P.O.'s daily until a fuel pump/module died. I purchased the car for the motor/harness/PCM - balance of car has been sold. I am told these are also correct for Mini Cooper but do your own research. Pics here: https://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/6009131684.html Asking $200 OBO
