  1. Non standard tub size - consider a claw foot (freestanding) tub? They are available in "smaller" sizes and would be "period correct".You can equip them with a shower / curtain. I always wanted the "custom" one I saw with chromed feet and a black lacquer exterior in my old house (1898 farm house) but moved on before I could go there!
  2. Looking for a set of factory take offs to mount snow tires. 2007 DTS w/17" wheels. Just seeing if anyone has a set sitting they want to get out of the way. 2006-2011 DTS 2000 up Deville 17x7 (or 7.5), 5x115mm
  3. This! I have an alert set up for Nissan pickups. When they come in I can check online to get a VIN (sometimes) to check basic equipment, then run down before everyone else picks it over. Sheet metal and interior can be a bit tougher, but at least you'll know if there's even one there.
  4. My bad, original was deleted, reposted here: https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/d/2003-mazda-protege5-protege-5/6357548542.html
  5. Bump Winter beater? $2K will buy it!
  6. Uh...I'm doing the work, and if it were someplace that could do the inspection I wouldn't have asked. Really guys, I've done this before, I know how it works. "If" someone works in the business and could save me some time I would pay for the convenience, if not, I'll run it by a dealership when I'm done.
  7. Yea, I know, but a 33' bus chassis w/no power steering right now makes it a wee bit less convenient...
  8. Anybody available that can do one of these? Purchased a motorhome from Florida, getting some work done and would prefer not to have to drag 33' of bus to an inspection station. Will gladly pay for the convenience! PM me please! Thanks.
  9. Yes, but you have rain tires - or you can borrow some "extra wide" intermediates if you like!
  10. 2003 Mazda Protege5, 154K miles, clean title, 5 speed, Power windows, Power door locks, Cruise, tilt wheel, Sunroof, Pioneer head unit, almost new tires (less than 1 year / 5K miles). Also comes with a spare set of factory alloy wheels (one has slight bend-repairable) that could be used for winter tires if desired. Clean interior in nice shape, some exterior rust (see pics) and dings, but very presentable. Asking $2500, no trades - new car has replaced this one. Selling this for my son-in-law. Good car, they just wanted something newer with a new child on the way. Pics here: https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/d/2003-mazda-protege5/6315644239.html
  11. Yep, too bad the wife LOVES her ranch....
  12. If Sean can't hook you up, I have scales as a "backup" (PM'd)
  13. Bump... $6000 for all the kart stuff (no trailer) Will do 2 separate packages or will consider trades for road race car...
  14. Went in yesterday and purged my photos, deleted my account and told them greed has killed better sites than theirs. Before the "third party" BS I was ready to move as the ads had made the site such a PITA to use anyway.
  15. Done! Handled it at the skunkworks...
  16. A couple more things... If shopping on Craigslist, the RV section is the "scam-o-rama" area. At minimum 25% of the adds are scam to harvest emails and phone numbers. As always, if it looks too good to be true, it is! RV dealers have notoriously high markups particularly on used units. The actual sell price can be 50% of what is advertised in some cases. Buying a used unit that was "well loved" by a single owner can be your best buy.
  17. A few thoughts - note I am a "motorhome guy" as it doubles as a tow vehicle. 1) Buy used - the depreciation is horrible on RV's and they can be found used for great prices. 2) Look at "Toy Haulers"- you can stow a bike/golf cart inside and tow one (relatively small) trailer 3) I am shopping now and will store it at my house on a parking pad. Storage lot costs vary greatly - cheapest are typically out of town a ways so shop around. 4) Educate yourself on construction of the units. Most stuff built today is "glue laminate" construction - sidewall/plywood/insulation/inner wall all pressure glued together - it WILL delaminate, it's just a matter of "when". See #2 - many of these are built by companies that build car trailers (metal frame and skin), just check for the quality of the interior bits. If the interior is all put together with staples - it will fall apart. Looking at units that are several years old and see how they are holding up - new ones are all pretty on the lot. 5) It is like owning a second home - there is ongoing maintenance 6) If not a toy hauler, you can haul bikes in the bed of the truck, look at older "Holiday Rambler", Avion (like Airstream but at much lower cost)
  18. As has been eluded to, what do you enjoy? My wife's mother and step father had a house on Sandusky Bay in Port Clinton. It was great for the kids to jet ski, or it would be great if you want to play on the water without much boat traffic. Fishing, not so much, access to the main portion of Lake Erie, yes, but it was a bit of a ride to get out there. If you just want a house with a view of a lake - any of the local water holes will work. A lot depends on why you want to have a house on a lake.
  19. Looking for one of those cheap "tuner" wings that mount on the rear decklid. Must be aluminum & 55" wide. Don't need mounts or hardware, just the "wing" sections. If you've got pieces laying around you would like to get rid of, let me know (Yes, I can order off eBay, but these are for a "test" piece)
  20. Might be a bit high on the upside right now. Great neighborhood (I live in it) - house sq. footage is a bit small (for the neighborhood) and it's split level (less popular than the ranches and traditional 2 stories in the 'hood). That said, $250K is a great price in todays market for this neighborhood. Some updates and $300K is easily reachable. Over $300k is likely a ways off - but if the market stays as crazy as it has been???? Just my $ .02, GLWS, still a great opportunity for someone.
  21. I'll be curious to hear your results. I went the Dr Scholl's route (did the machine thing and it was right on with it's description of my heel pain). I have found a great improvement when I am out walking all day at the track. Also, best shoes/boots you can find (sounds like you're already there on this one). Good luck!
  22. Research Alloys / Stargate Metals on Goodale. See Rick, he will also cut - aluminum/stainless/whatever http://www.researchalloys.com/location/
