  1. I have had two Optima batteries. One in a 98' Mustang GT, loved it, made the car start so much quicker, had it for over two years. I just this passed year put on in my 02' Jeep Wrangler 4.0L, Autozone's computer even said that the only battery they recommend for a wrangler, because of the high requirements on the battery. I intend on purchasing them for any other future battery replacement needs. I have sold many odyssey batteries for motorcycles and have only had minor issues. I would say they are a good bet too. At the end of the day i would say buy the best battery you can for the amount of money you can spend.
  2. Thanks, I really like it! hopefully i can go for a test ride tomorrow. I was to busy today trying to help Tyler with his bike.
  3. Got my pipe back from Hoblick today! looks amazing sounds even better! Great job man, and great price! He even polished out some major scratches it had. http://s313.photobucket.com/albums/ll381/ponytrk/?action=view&current=VID00000-20100224-1402.flv What it started with a standard length TBR c-4 can. http://s313.photobucket.com/albums/ll381/ponytrk/?action=view&current=VID00002-20100309-1546.flv As it is now!! amazing!! :leghump::thumbup:
  4. Come on guys i'm taking offers. I need money!!
  5. The pickup in that is amazing. A classic gibson p-90. I'd kill for it. Really nice fat necks on them. They truly do not make them like this any more.
  6. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30408/10002/-1?parentProductId=758651 used for about a month. $125 obo Also have a set of factory Ford GT/CS mufflers. basicly the same as standard GT mufflers but with a nice rolled tip. in great shape $100 obo
  7. also forgot. If you have a old wireless router you can set it up as a "bridge" for your current network, basically making it a range extender.http://www.ehow.com/how_2308651_use-router-as-repeater.html
  8. If you can just run a wired setup, that would be most cost efficient. adding another router would be about the same as a signal booster, or range extender.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/D-Link+-+Wireless-N+Range+Extender/9807689.p?id=1218176626462&skuId=9807689&st=range%20extender&cp=1&lp=1
  9. If your laptop is more than two years old, it most likely is not "N" compatible. You could also upgrade your card if you did want it to be "N".
  10. There is also a snorkel on the front of the air box that is easily removed, once you take that out and put a K&N on it, you can really hear the motor sucking the air in. Sounds great man. Let me know when you can pick up that pipe!
  11. It is truly a year of recalls. My Mustang got it's first recall notification, something about the seat belts. Once the snow clears, off she goes to get fixed.
  12. You can get a signal booster from Best Buy for about $90. If your computers are compatible, look in to getting a "N" router, longer distance and faster upload speeds. If nothing else they make different antennas for routers.
  13. You any good at cutting cans down? If so i have a two brothers i'd like to shorten.
  14. Yes they do sound great. I have a two brothers old school c-4 pipe. Check out delkevic exhaust on ebay. They make the badest pipes for the 4th gen. A jet kit would be an good addition too. I have a dynojet on mine.
  15. It serves those pricks right. It is one thing to politely express your feelings toward animal cruelty. Throwing dye and calling people is plan rude, and inappropriate. Those people got what they had coming. Are you really going to do something like that at a biker rally? are you that stupid!
  16. Weird. You drive the car from the middle. I really like the body lines and the single wiper.
  17. please do, or if you have an yothers. If you find it please pm me a price.
  18. i'm looking for a motherboard to install a AMD Athlon xp 3200 processor on. Just checking to see if anyone has a used one laying around. It would be best if it also has a AGP video card slot.
  19. If a helmet is Snell approved it is also DOT approved. I have NEVER in my years of selling helmets have seen a not DOT but Snell approved helmet.
  20. ^ if you take care of bikes that well you will have no problem on any of them.
  21. ^ i agree. The GS650 is a wimpy bike. low power, ugly and not many aftermarket parts. No one NEEDS a 1000cc bike. they are very powerful. There are draw backs to 1000s too, like higher insurance rates, lower gas mileage and potentially higher maintenance. I would think the FZ6 (now called the "FZ6S") is the best choice. I agree that i would look at the SV650 too, but it is still more "sport" than the FZ series, slightly less comfortable seating position and seat. If you plan on carrying a passenger or luggage then the SV is out.
  22. I just built my 2002 Yamaha YZ426 in to a SM. Way to fun to ride. Should be illegal. What ever you do, don't start with a bike that comes street legal. They have a bunch of smog, and carb restrictions. You should be able to buy a mid to late 2000's 450 and convert it. I spent about $500 on the Dual sport kit, $250 on a used stator off ebay, $50 for a kick stand, and look to spend at least $1000 on wheels and tires. There are many more mods out there for off road bikes compared to dual sports. Oh ya, converting the title is a breeze! i think it was 30 bucks total. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE IT INSPECTED. they will try and tell you that you do but by law you do not, unless it is a out of state bike.
  23. I've ridden fz6 and fz1s. I prefer the fz6, it has plenty of power and a better seat. I too am about 6'2 and 190lbs. Both have a heavy aftermarket too. You couldn't go wrong with either one.
