  1. no plans on trading or selling any of my cars--only plans are to buy more, and mod my cars just a bit more
  2. great looking car, and a good price as well. i might be looking for one of these for winters in wisconsin
  3. great thread. will read again in 5 minutes
  4. in the grande scheme of things, an open femur fracture is not a huge deal. 95% of them heal with no further surgery (ask me how i know). assuming he has no other injuries, he'll be just fine. anyone know what hospital he was taken to??
  5. speedy recovery. bones heal, especially the femur. hope nothing else is injured
  6. like the wheels and the blower. nice ride. welcome to the site.
  7. non-confrontational----leave a note on the truck stating that multiple neighbors have a problem with the truck being parked there, could he please not park it there. confrontational---go to his house and ask him not to park it there passive aggressive (more aggressive)--let the air out of all the tires is this guy big or something??? i can understand not wanting retaliation, but come on---even a fucking tard can realize parking a big ass truck right in front of someone's house is a nuissance.
  8. there's always someone faster, always someone willing/dumb enough to throw more money at their car then its worth---especially fbody owners waiting for enraged fbody mob.....................
  9. erniehaireford.com you can get a BRAND NEW '08 mustang GT for just over $18k. that's what i would buy if i were interested in an s197 stang.
  10. damn. rofl at the size of the turbo. impressive build for sure.
  11. no, it should get instant boost as soon as the gas pedal is depressed. that's the beauty of positive displacement blowers---instant gratification
  12. svtperformance.com like hal said. my car still smells brand new on the inside. that car has been hacked to shit--run away no boost in 1st and 2nd?? wtf.----boost should be instantaneous and full at 2500rpms. you should be able to lose traction in 1st gear with the shitty stock tires. car sounds like it has major issues

    Hog Roast??

call city BBQ. i would always tend to support them, and they have great food. the 50% owner of city BBQ is dr. john kean---he's been an orthopedic surgeon at children's hospital for almost 30 years, and one of the nicest guys i've ever met. they do great pig roasts
  14. i do much of my own work for now, but farm selective things out-- i've come to the conclusion that people just don't give a fuck about your car like you do, and won't spend the time on the car that i would. so, if i don't have the tools, or technical know-how, then i farm the work out. i've been busy as hell this year in florida with my last year of training, but was still able to do all the general maintainence on the 5 cars i have here, as well as a ton of work on my '85 GT. i'll probably start having a fair amount of my work done at a speed shop once i find a good one in wisconsin--just to save some time, and i can't afford to injure my hands.
  15. thank god you've almost got the problem solved--now i can finally get some sleep, and hopefully not wake up with heartburn, worrying about your lambo doors

    Hey

stock hood. no flare or flash, just straight business.
  17. glad to hear things are going a bit better. good luck andy
  18. post up some info on yourself, and the car--pics, specs, etc. etc.
  19. what's a cobb?? hope you're able to find first gear---maybe its hiding somewher in the lambo door?? what does your plate mean?? welcome, i like the color of the car. several subies on this site
  20. yeah, i hate this as well. back when we had meets at quaker steak and lube, people would lean up against other peoples' cars, and put drinks on others' cars--lots of disrespect like that. a lot of these people were random people that were not a part of columbus racing. no idea how they find out about the meets, but they just show up. last year someone flipped a riced out piece of shit at one of the meets. cars and coffee is a better bet. all the riff raff are still hung over, and don't show up--definitely a more mature crowd. my sentra goes up for sale in a few weeks, by the way. unfortunately, its in tampa. i just can't justify moving it with me to wisconsin, even though it was my first supercar. i'm taking it in stride.
  21. good news man. if they put tissue expanders in, they can be pretty painful. kirk
  22. fight it. don't understand how this guy can 'pace' you at 100mph---that would mean that he would have to get up behind you and be going somewhere near 100mph to guestimate that you were going that speed. you would have slowed down as soon as you saw him--common sense. was he on the side of the road?? you know how long it would take the average crown vic to get up to 100mph?? i've received a ticket in the past being 'paced' at 75+mph in a 55mph zone. it was rush hour traffic in the morning, and i didn't see the cop enter the freeway, and pull up behind me to pace me--but he did. i was going 80mph at least. i lawyered up, and got it downgraded to a muffler violation. lawyer cost me $200ish. ironically enough, my muffler broke the following month--wtf?
  23. almost forgot to post a pic of my nissan supercar. i also love the refined throttle note. its, dare i say-----sexy. http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3131/s3500049.jpg http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3290/s3500044.jpg alright, enough hazing from me. say hi to my old buddy matt gabler---maybe you'll know him, maybe you won't. he works at batelle (doing who knows what, i don't know). he's an old OSU grad school roommate of mine--very much into rallycross, he'd be about 32 years old
