take all your stuff, and take it to a reputable shop. go somewhere that is an established vendor on svtperformance.com. people have mentioned good shops so far. livernois (spelling), MMR, al pappito--someone who does a ton of these, and will stand behind their work fully.

interesting. i was considering looking at GXP's and trading the goat in on one. i think i'll just buy a vette instead, and keep the goat for a daily driver--its way too comfortable, and i haven't had a single problem in almost 2 years of owning it.

yeah, haydocy wouldn't let me drive a GTO--wtf?? salesman said it has the vette motor in it, so we don't let people test drive it--fuck off. i handed him his card back to him, but not before walking inside to do it in front of everyone so his manager could see. they were charging $27k for '05's with 30k miles. 3 weeks later i showed up to the dealership to get a new key made for the '05 that i bought privately for $20k with 10k miles on it. i won't buy a car without test driving it first---period.

now i'm going to go back from two weeks ago and look at all my slips to see what my reaction times were--probably all over the place. i did line up once against a low 9 second car---funny to see a car blow by you like it was shot out of a cannon, doing a wheelie.

skip the ported blower---its not worth it, even if you're spraying to cool the intake charge as it enters the HEATON, that blower is only a restriction. just go with a twinscrew. you can hit 700rwhp with a kenne bell mammoth at 19psi with no spray. i had a ported blower for a while--trust me, you will not be comletely satisfied. and may i suggest the head cooling mod to lessen the chances of popping your motor if you're dead set on 5th gear pulls. welcome.
