  1. i'll await the verdict. for the most part, people don't change. he was not 'trolling' on this site. he was not here to get a rise out of people and he's really a super-nice, upstanding guy in real life. he was/is a free-loading cock-bag, who faked all kinds of bullshit injuries to get gov't assistance, disability, etc, to pay for his piece of shit car, and schooling, if i recall. he has no 'real' disability so far as i could tell, aside from a personality disorder. this is not a disability, so much as it is just being born a fucking asshole. it would not surprise me to find out the story is similar to what has been reported. there may be some missing details, but i doubt it would be anything that would exhonerate this fucktard. as stated before, its not my job to determine innocence, i'm just giving an opinion.
  2. he could get lucky and have very few issues with the car---but why?? is he looking for a project? reliable transportation? those cars aren't even really cool. so many better selections can be had with $3k that will be reliable. as others have stated, i would plan on having $2k or more set aside for repairs, along with an unlimited supply of booze, advil, and a small hammer to bash himself over the head periodically.
  3. Glad you didn't switch the hood. Looking good. That's the best hood ever put on a mustang factory or aftermarket. Nothing even comes close imo
  4. Came here to post this. I've been to Disney for a conference the past four years and with a person who specializes in this, you will hit all the high points. Especially since you're on such short notice
  5. see above. wisconsin is very good in terms of giving equal custody. i was very concerned how i was going to be productive and earn the same living, have a worthwhile practice, with being a good father, and legitimately doing 50% custody. it is HARD fucking work when i have the kids and have to work a full time job. i just buckle down, man-up, and prepare my ass off. that's why i justify buying stupid shit i don't really need.

    The Cavs

i don't agree with the way lebron left previously. i can remember having a conference in cleveland during the playoffs, the season before he left. i didn't even know there was a cavs game that night. we went to the downtown cleveland panini's with a group of corporate guys from this implant company for late lunch/dinner. shortly after, the place started filling up with cavs fans for the game. during the game, the place was absolutely nuts--i can honestly say i've never seen a bar at this level for any sporting event. 99% of people had lebron jerseys on. there was maybe a few zidrunas (spelling?) jerseys. but EVERYTHING was lebron. the guys i was with were all from milwaukee wisconsin, and they were in absolute awe. i can only imagine the financial impact of him leaving. i can remember coming back to ohio for a picnic and my 70 year old dad fighting with my 65 year old uncle over lebron leaving. it was crazy. its hard not to like lebron, now that he's back. it would make for a pretty incredible story to see them win it all this year.
  7. I have 50% custody. I have my kids every other week. I still pay child support to take into account the massive disparity in lifestyle the kids would have living with her if I didn't.
  8. Wasn't he still able to post in the dwiggs thread? That's why the thread would jump ahead a page but no one could read his posts? He will probably claim some ptsd bullshit
  9. i have four car payments right now---lol add all those up and its about half what i pay my ex wife per month in child support, which is about 10% my gross income. its all relative. i usually make it a point to buy new cars, and put at least 25% down on the car immediately. that way, if i get rid of the car unexpectedly, i'm not upside down. there are 1000 different ways to look at it. i work incredibly hard for my money, and work even harder as a father---so why not have fun.
  10. this. also, this is NOT the first time he and the patriots have been in trouble. he absolutely knew the balls were deflated, and had a hand in allowing it to happen. this guy handles the football 1000's of times in short periods of time--of course he can tell the difference in a couple psi, just like pro golfers can tell the difference between certain golf balls. i'm no expert on the patriots, but there have been several times they have had accusations against them---lip reading, being the major one i can think of off hand. bellichek and brady have been on a short leash with the nfl in terms of bullshit like this. they knew any cheating or perception of cheating would get a harsh penalty. 4 games is appropriate. in the end, these players are role models to millions of young children, adults, and fans the like. they are paid incredibly well to play a game, entertain us, sell us products, and be people we look up to. no young kid ever says "when i grow up, i want to shovel shit on the side of the road". they all say "i want to be tom brady when i grow up". we can't have role models like this beating women, cheating, shooting guns at a bar, or doing drugs.
  11. uh, i'd get a couple teslas and call it a day i think they would find a way to limit usage as opposed to number of cars. i have 5 cars, and can drive a different one every time, but still drive the same mileage each week.
  12. i'm not seeing what the issue is. it looks fantastic!!!!
  13. Thanks again guys. The color is called nardo grey. The best way I can describe how it looks is either it looks like the color of an electrical panel, or wet concrete
  14. Why not pull all the money out of that account, close it, and tell her to fuck off. It's one thing to threaten legal action, it's a whole different ball game to nut-up and actually follow through with legal action. I wrote of $15k+ in bullshit that my ex pulled during the course of my divorce. I could have easily taken legal action multiple times. But that costs money and time.
  15. some interior shots. love the interior on this car. very quiet with the windows up. http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_14.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_15.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_13.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_16.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_10.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_11.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_12.jpg
  16. Nuts man. Absolutely nuts. I can't believe that motor has held together. With how small that car is, I have to imagine it rolls out pretty hard on the freeway.
  17. Love the comments in this thread I have not recently had a bad experience, but overall the worst car I've been in, I actually owned. My 2005 exploder. Majorly underpowered (235hp), rode like a truck, yet handled horribly in the snow even with 4wd and good tires. Radio was horrible, no DVD player, and the heated seats felt like I was being burned by a hot wire. My ex rammed it into a pole, and it didn't total out. Someone threw a rock from an overpass that demolished the windshield, dash, seats, etc, and it didn't total out. I t-boned some dumb bitch who turned right in front of me and destroyed the front end, fender, etc, and it didn't total out. Traded it in for my raptor with 80k miles for $4k or something. I should have burned it to the ground and walked to the dealer to get my truck.
  18. definitely going to get a set of wheels/tires for the winter. maybe a set of wheels/tires for the dragstrip :fuckyeah:
  19. Thanks guys. I was shocked at what this motor was capable of. My buddy has a tuned, exhaust s6 and it is just plain nasty. As it sits right now, the car needs nothing. The low end torque is nuts
  20. the raptors hold their value quite well for some reason. its a fun truck for sure, it stands out, drives pretty well for a lifted/big tired truck, but its not the most practical vehicle.
  21. the color makes the car. once i saw it in person, i knew i had to have the color. and having a hatch is huge. i'm always hauling crap with the kids, and love to do triathlons, etc. now i can stick the bike in the back. all the carbon accents are fantastic as well--i would never justify ordering them if i built the car personally--but once you see them in person, there's no regret in the extra cost for the mirrors, engine cover, bumpers, vents, etc. the caddy is in great shape. i'm confident they will have no issues unloading that car. hated to get rid of it, as it was probably the only GM i've ever owned with literally zero issues in 4 years
  22. Yep, traded the ctsv in. Seriously, I drove 8 hours in the ctsv and really didn't want to trade it in. But I simply can't drive that car and this new one. It would be a waste. And if it were warmer here, I'd keep the caddy, slap a pulley on it, and call it a day. The v was and still is an incredible daily. Mine has 35k miles on it and is in fantastic shape I am pleasantly surprised at how much this car's exhaust pops and growls on downshifts. And the auto is very, very close to the twin clutch in my gtr in terms of shifting characteristics
  23. guys, i've been contemplating a new summer daily driver for a little while. i have 3 kids and they just don't fit in the GTR anymore. i really liked my CTS-V, but its still cool here in wisconsin, and that car just doesn't get traction here at all. i knew i needed AWD, since i love driving the shit out of my GTR all year round. i briefly looked at hellcat chargers, but realized i can't do RWD. i was looking at everything. i even considered getting a mclaren, 911 turbo, just about anything reasonable and unreasonable was on my list. i decided to be a little practical. i found this bad-boy on autotrader, and it was optioned just like i wanted. trey (iv rings here) hooked me up as well. i drove to columbus last thursday to visit my brother and picked it up. i traded in the CTSV it has the upgraded audio system, carbon fiber everything, sport exhaust, etc. first impression::: very nice. super comfortable ride, fast as balls with endless traction, zero lag. the sound system is insane. i am not an audio buff at all--but its unreal. the rear seats fold down, and i could easily fit a bike in the back. kids first impression::: they love the fact there's built in wi-fi for their tablets, and the car 'farts' on downshifts. been a shitty year and a half in some regards, so this was a nice early birthday gift http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_5.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_4.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_6.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_2.jpg http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv265/kirks5oh/photo_1.jpg
  24. get the dealership job. get the dealership experience. i know you say you plan on moving out of state in a year, but life has a way of being unpredictable. you may find yourself staying here longer. drop sears like an aids-infested dumpster fire
