Is your chipped ecu a vtec ecu? if not it can be converted to a vtec ecu with the right components.

Boosted i see you are a very smart individual and no i didnt know all that about oil. I thank you for informing me i always like to learn new things. Roy do you know where the motor was built at the shop not just the sleeve manufacturer? I would talk to both darton and the company who persaonaly assembled the motor.

Josh i have herd the same as Laskey has told you. witch since i herd t from a few sources that have built long lasting high hp hondas i will take their advice. here is a link that an engine builder told me to read over. he said alot of people swear by what this guy says. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm and here is a quote from him What's The Best Way To Break-In A New Engine ?? The Short Answer: Run it Hard ! Why ?? Nowadays, the piston ring seal is really what the break in process is all about. Contrary to popular belief, piston rings don't seal the combustion pressure by spring tension. Ring tension is necessary only to "scrape" the oil to prevent it from entering the combustion chamber. Like i said i am not an engine builder but im getting the same answer from multiple sources dealing with my type of car. So i dont want to see this turn into a Pissing match on the forum i am just trying to help someone out. like stated before get ahold of a trusted engine builder and ask their advice.

From what i understand you want a good Break in oil not just any cheap stuff off the shelf. was told to me by a good engine builder here in columbus you need something with zinc in it such as rotella T. there are other companies such as Brad Pen break in oil aswell. im not an engine builder but i have talked to a few good ones and i think proper engine break in will be most important. why spend 10k on a engine and put some cheap off brand in it. also if you are to say shell rotella t is some cheap off brand you will be wrong.

Well alot of people argue on different break in methods. you can put everything together turbo and all and break it in on the dyno. Alot of people say seating the rings is the most important to engine break in and when they are seated you are good to go. although other people recommend 500mile driving easy. If i was you personally i would talk to a reputability engine building shop and ask them what they recommend. I know most will say use a good engine break in oil for the first 1000miles. As far as Stock and LS/Vtec goes their is no such thing since its not a stock engine. you cant simply throw a stock ecu in and drive it. most common breaking of a LS/Vtec issue is incorrect ignition timing.

Your gonna need an injector driver for those 1,600cc injectors. Peak and Hold injectors are finicky especially for idle. Or you could look into some Injector Dynamics 1,000cc Saturated injector and turn the psi up on a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. http://blog.evans-tuning.com/2009/01/19/bosch-1000cc-saturated-injectors-introductory-special/ here is some info on the injector. They also have a 2,200cc injector if needed. as of suspension its really up to you. there is alot of great kits out there. I run AMR on my integra a little bit more pricey then most would pay but i have my reasons. Function and Form is a personal fav of mine so is the Buddy Club. both of those types have rode great in my personal experience. You will just have to look around and see what interest you and what research you can find.

I see you have a nice build going. But i would like to just say a 1,000whp civic is nothing but a number really. you dont need 1000 to hit 9's in a honda people have done it with lots less. i be leave Slowmo did it under 700. First problem i see is yea you might have a motor that makes 1,000whp but try getting the civic to hook it. FWD is a big challenge when it comes to traction. your car has to really be in tune with your motor and suspension, etc. Im not coming in here to doubt you or come off as an ass hole but im trying to help.

this is from Evans-Tuning.com Make sure there are no vacuum or fuel pressure leaks as a result of torn or old o-rings. Also, make sure your fuel injectors are sized appropriately for the power that you are trying to make. Below is a quick guideline for injector to power rating given a base fuel pressure between 40-50psi: * 240cc/min (stock): 170-180whp * 310cc/min: 200-240whp * 370cc/min: 250-275whp * 440cc/min: 300-325whp * 550cc/min:350-375whp * 650cc/min: 400-425whp * 750cc/min: 450-475whp * 1000cc/min: 600whp * 1200cc/min: 700whp * 1600cc/min: 850whp *Note that more power can be made with the same size injector with higher base fuel pressures. You must have a fuel pump that sustain high fuel pressures. The BEST pump we have found is the Bosch 044 inline fuel pump. Using a Walbro 255lph HP intank fuel pump, and the Bosch 044 fuel pump inline fuel pressure can be held in the 120-130 psi range. With high base fuel pressures of 60-70psi, 20-30% more cc/min flow can be had from the same injector size. If using E85 fuel, all injector ratings will be approximately 30% less.
