  1. O sorry, 206k isnt to much miles! is this a M52 B28??? sorry i didnt catch witch car you had on Ohio Bimmers (this is FreshDA9 by the way!)
  2. the new aeromotive in tank fuel pumps are getting great reviews from what i understand. looks like IPS is a distributor as well.
  3. Bump for you i have the first gen version of this been beating it up everyday for the last 4 years with no issues. someone should jump on this.
  4. find an old cell phone with gps locating. hard wire an old charger somewhere in the car and turn the phone on keep it pluged in and hidden somewhere. if the car does get stolen the police could trace where it is and since it is a cell phone the battery should be good for a day or so.
  5. NTB downtown. they are a sponsor here.
  6. the AEM tru boost and the AMS 1000 both use MAC solenoids most companys selling boost conrollers use the MAC valve. such as the apexi avcr greddy pro effect and more etc. AMS looks to be the best for drag racing and i think it has an option for strain gauge. I have never ran one but i have never herd anything negative about AMS products.
  7. Damnit this is what im in college for but not far enough would there be any internships with this company?
  8. Joah if you get your oil lines from Greg before i do im going to be pissed. been 3 weeks now. :bangbang:
  9. what the fuck you tryin to say josh 00TypeR i have no experience making a 1 or 2 layer but i know companies make 1 or 2 layers such as toda and i think Golden eagle. Larry at endyn is a god at machine work and has been racing corvettes back in the 70's and basically invented some of the strongest parts for Honda's.
  10. stock is .030 of coarse a 2 layer or 1 layer brings the p2v closer resulting in higher compression. I would run a Honda OEM or Golden Eagle (i have replaced many cometic and will never again ) my oem is holding fine but the golden eagle is a improved version of oem (they use stock but enlarge the water ports or sizing for piston bore. here try this calculator and dont forget to click on B series http://www.zealautowerks.com/index.html
  11. Car under warranty > hacking up the harness you could try contacting a company like Boomslang and see if they could make you one. or see if a local vendor could make one similar. http://boomslang.us/aemfic.htm
  12. the dyno jet cmd is very popular in the genesis crowed and i believe plug and play. the FIC is a good unit but do they make a plug and play or harness adapter for it? i dont know anything about the other 1.
  13. I would have to check with my buddy who is an H22 slutt. but there is a vin on the block somewhere and or circles on the head with dates in them that you can narrow them down with. I believe the Jdm H22A-S had red valve cover, then blue top honda vtec engines one was a F20B SiR-T from 97-up accord euro-r another was a h23a dohc vtec from accord/prelude. I can call him later and ask for sure but i dont think hes up yet. maybe alittlelessordinary can jump in on this aswell.
  14. Did tune up,water pump, feel pro headgaskets, feelpro intake manifold gaskets (the better ones), ngk plugs, autolight wires, cap rotor. no matter what i do it gets 17mpg. i've had this thing for years put maintenance in it just looking for better solutions. if i had an injector manifold i could get some bosch core injectors and lean my cruising and idle a/f out more and see hopefully 4-7mpg pick up.
  15. This is why i was asking for a cheaper solution. basicly asking if i could swap anything from a later blazer 4.3 but i dont know to much about tbi, spider vein etc.
  16. Hmm. i have only seen the marine intake's for $450 none with injectors etc. still i am wandering of a cheaper solution. im just some more MPG's. Intake manifold, Injectors, Headers, exhaust, Intake, Then Tune. Spider vein is so GAY!
  17. Im tired of the spider vein injection and its crappy gas millage. I was looking on Blazer forums and could only find the Marine intake manifold swap. Is there a cheaper alternative to swap it for an intake with 6 injectors? i will not start tearing it apart again to warm weather but would like to start finding parts. Thanks
  18. No trans break at 300. Id say go with a S2K but be conservative. my friends old supercharged s2k put a little over 500 and was fast and reliable. if your gonna run 600+ just be prepared on stock internals.
  19. yes there is but im also talking longevity K vs f the K has proven to be more reliable. Im not saying you cant make 800 on a f with stock internals im just saying it might only last a month. 3 biggest issues are Sleeves, Valvetrain, Diff's. the cars are very well overall and love top end racing. I have driven hundreds (use to be a tech for Honda) and the gearing is amazing mid to high range.
  20. FRM Sleeves are doo doo baby. the worst sleeve design honda every made. the K motor platform is Honda's highest HP stock internal motor as of yet in the 600-650 range. F20 and F22 are great and will hold close to those numbers as the K but will pop before one. S2k = Sleeves + Head Work + rear end upgrade, should hold boost in the 600+ range and get some time out of it to play around.
