Yeah, going to be lots of opinions in here. Having owned both 9mm and 40s&w pistols I'd give a slight edge to 9mm for cheaper, more readily available ammo, and round count. Can't go wrong with a Glock 19 or 26 if you need a true compact. Or like Kyle said, M&P, XD, SR9/40 and so on.

That rifle has me about 1100 in the hole, but an identical-looking build could be done for much less than that. The MOE stock, and grip can be found quite cheap. The handguard is midwest industries, foregrip is a magpul AFG2, and the sling attachment endplate is a troy. The rail covers were ebayed for cheap, something like 4 for $15, I couldn't bring myself to pay more for them.

I liked ARs before they went all mainstream, so I say pick something a little more obscure, like a nice flintlock.

I don't think I am an expert by any means, only been puffin for a few years, but I've been recently stuck on the Oliva Serie V and G sticks. Got a bunch in my humidor, along with a couple CAO, and Gurkha sticks. As far as your humidor you just need something that seals well, and will hold the amount you need. I only have a 40 count, which is by all accounts small. I also use humidor beads, instead of the sponge, but I'm not sure it matters too much if you keep it proper. Distilled water only of course, if they need recharged. Also I use a Vector Punch as my cutter, as I prefer a uniform cut. It makes a nice large hole for draw, but is not so good for torpedos(I do also have a cheap, metal guillotine). A nice butane torch lighter is great for a proper light, as well as an actual cigar ash tray for those long smokes(or poker games). I also love a nice single malt accompaniment, but beer, coffee, and even just water is fine. I absolutely need something, especially for full flavored cigars.

1. I could see him come back if the Miami project fails. 2. I hope so. It is really fun to watch someone who was a razors edge away from being cut again, just come out and BALL. I keep hearing the Tebow comparison, but that's not quite right, Tebow was a superstar in highschool, and college. Lin played well throughout and everyone knew he was good, but he was always underestimated. Makes the story much more interesting.
