  1. And just like that it's official, Stan Drayton to the Bears. Be interesting to see who OSU hires as the new RB coach and how it affects the #1 rb in the 2016 class, Kareem Walker who committed to OSU already.
  2. Idk how credible this is, but it would be a huge blow imo to Ohio State FootballScoop Staff @FootballScoop Follow wow RT @BradBiggs: NFL source says #Bears are expected to hire Stan Drayton as running backs coach. He has served in that role at Ohio State 5:13 PM - 5 Feb 2015 Oh yeah a way too early 2016 mock draft http://walterfootball.com/draft2016.php Bosa #1 Cardale #2 Zeke #14 For those who aren't too sure about Walter football, they seem to do a pretty decent job with their mocks every year. Mel Kiper said that if Cardale were to come back next year he is a sure fire top 5 draft pick, so Walter's picks might not be too far off.
  3. In non college football news, the Dolphins are showing just how desperate the NFL is to get people back in the stands http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12284494/miami-dolphins-build-living-room-suites-sun-life-stadium?src=mobile&rand=ref~%7B%22ref%22%3A%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.elevenwarriors.com%2Fforum%2Fother-sports%2F2015%2F02%2F49786%2Fdolphins-to-renovate-seating-in-crazy-way%22%7D I heard this would happen in the next 10 years a couple years ago. The problem with the NFL in my opinion is a lot of people are fans of fantasy football more than they are of the NFL its self. Be interesting to see how many teams follow suit with this and just where the NFL is in terms of attendance in a few years.
  4. Espn ratings are a joke and severely biased. 247 is probably the most even keel out of all the sites that rank highschool kids. I was just busting jives balls, USC's class is really good though on paper. I feel like they are about to be back and the kings of Pac12.
  5. "REEVES, BOGARD, TANNER LIKELY DONE AT OHIO STATE BECAUSE OF INJURIES"...I guess there's the answer to how 27 would fit. Rivals ranks USC #1, first time since 10' that Bama hasn't been champion, been a rough last 2 months for Bama folks With Reeves career seemingly over with, 13 members of the 2012 class (25 players) are no longer at OSU, none of them because of early entry into the NFL either. Tanner was part of the 2011 class (24 members) which now has all of 4, maybe 5 (Hale is trying to get another year I believe). That includes a long snapper, a lot of this class played early and Shazier declared a year early. The others transfered out, had injuries, ect..
  6. Oh btw, Jive...your boys might not finish with the #1 class this year, USC is just getting started and look to be loaded.
  7. He has signed a letter to both Auburn and Florida apparently, I have heard he was waiting to see what CeCe Jefferson was going to do. Jefferson just chose Florida, be interesting to see what happens with Cowart, if Florida were to land both of them that would be huge for their program.
  8. High school has a National Championship game? :dumb:
  9. So ESPN just reported that OSU was taking 27 kids in this class according to Urban, there is only 26 on my list....who is the surprise?!
  10. Right now it's the #6 class according to ESPN. The surprise team to me is Tennessee, they are #4, I haven't looked at their class but I imagine they have about 32 committed players right now. After Tennessee it's UCLA as the team that is having an amazing signing day.
  11. So the Weber announcement was interesting to say the least. Was supposed to declare at 10, pushed that back to 10:30, 10:45 when they finally got around to calling his name he was not in the building. Announced he was still making up his mind, at nearly 11 he chose OSU, says he will only be in college for 3 years... This years class: QB Torrance Gibson QB Joey Burrow RB Mike Weber OL Isaiah Prince OL Grant Schmidt (Early Enrollee) OL Mathew Burrell OL Mirko Jurkovic OL Kevin Feder OL Brandon Bowen WR K. J. Hill WR A.J. Alexander WR Alex Stump TE Rashod Berry DL Jashon Cornell (Early Enrollee) DL Davon Hamilton DL Robert Landers DL Dre'Mont Jones DL Joshua Alabi LB Justin Hilliard LB Jerome Baker LB Nick Conner (Early Enrollee) DB Damon Arnette DB Joshua Norwood DB Denzel Ward DB Eric Glover Williams DB Jamel Dean (Early Enrollee) LS Liam McCullough
  12. The OL that OSU brought in this year is large: Schmidt: 6'6 275 Prince: 6'6 272 Burrell 6'4 321 Feder 6'9 305 Bowen 6'7 330 Jukovic 6'5 275 Imagine those kids with a year or two under Mariotti
  13. Exactly, he will start out at QB and in my opinion will be asked to switch over to WR after a year or two. Who know's though, maybe he'll light it up as a qb, we have 4-5 years to find out. Ediit: 4* OL Isaiah Prince commits to OSU. I believe this class has 6 OL in it now.
  14. Alabi stuck with his commitment as did Gibson. Also reading that OSU was able to flip Hill, but wont announce officially until 9:30. Apparently Gibson requested a LOI from LSU and OSU because he was torn between the two late in the process. It will be interesting to see how his career unfolds, I look for him to be asked to switch to WR at some point, that will either lead him to accepting the switch or becoming a potential transfer imo.
  15. From all reports the family really liked OSU. DE/LB was not a huge need imo for this year's class. Next year is loaded and OSU leads for a lot of them, including little Boss (believe he picks osu over fsu).
  16. If fwd drag racing is the purpose of this car the 70/30 split is a good thing. Also in the Honda world, guys with K series buy what hey call "gangster lean" engine mounts, which essentially does what the picture you posted of a vr in this chassis looks like. I'm not a vw guy, but I do like cool, different builds people do. Keep up the solid work
  17. In the most awkward announcment ever, Gustin chose USC over OSU. His dad spoke 99% of the time, rather than the kid. I fully expected his dad to verbal to a college today lol.
  18. Kid was wearing an OSU shirt when he received his player of the usad award last week... I feel Weber stays with OSU, Gustin goes to USC simply because if the relationship with fellow class members. If Weber does in fact flip, so be it. I'm not gonna lie and say I think he's gonna be the next great back at osu. If anything, I feel he has Mike Hart written all over him. Has a similar body structure and speed. I believe one of the 16' guys will be the next great OSU back. Remember when Dunn was the next great one? Some guy named Ezekiel Elliott said otherwise.
  19. You might be right, I think the first 3 games are $64, conference play is $79 and "premiere" games are $125/$150
  20. Ohio State playing with ticket prices once again.. Penn State will be $125 Michigan State will be $150 All other games will be $79 Students will be paying $34 still
  21. Chris and Chuck are really nice guys, I used to take my car up there and have it tuned by my buddy Steve who works for them from time to time. I saw the car on their fb page and wondered who's supra they was tinkering with.
  22. Suprised to see Dax Prescott at #2, really figured Boykin would be 1 or 2
  23. Lots of rumblings that WR KJ Hill (current Arkansas commit) will be flipping to OSU, Bielma is going to have a heart attack if Urban flips another one of his recruits (Kyle Dodson was the other).
