  1. Not sure... I didn't have to weigh mine. The paperwork came with a weight. Also, the BMV is only interested in the unloaded weight. I think my trailer unloaded came to 500lbs or so. When I told them it was going to be a race trailer and should be about 1000lbs at most when complete, the woman said that wasn't important and punched in the weight from the paperwork.
  2. I disagree. There are simpler designs that look better. Your last post is prime example of that. This doesn't make sense; it's like saying a TV has a great picture, but poor color reproduction. This is a supercar we're talking about. Saying "Great Aero but poor downforce" is fine if this were a Prius, but downforce is essential to a performance vehicle. Lack of downforce = poor aerodynamic design since aerodynamics are what generate downforce. Maybe they thought they were designing a plane? It's a track car. I'll be sure to let Lola, Porsche, and other LeMans Prototype designers that they're rice-boys. I think we'll just disagree on this point.
  3. A.K.A. the "Rambo Lambo"
  4. Subaru has a plant in Indiana. They make Legacy Outbacks, and ALL of the Tribecas there. (They also assemble Camrys for Toyota). It's kinda funny because all of the companies are outsourcing to China, but the Tribecas sold in China are built here in the US.
  5. The Koenigsegg sexy? This? http://www.myspeedcars.info/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/koenigsegg-ccr-side.jpg That's just hideous. The windshield peak is the highest point on the car. The sailpanels look bloated. I hate how the windshield is as wide in profile at the top as the side windows. And tons of other little things make it look like a fat, poorly proportioned kid's drawing of a car. And what's worse is that this ugly, malformed exercise in design can't even claim superior aerodynamics as an excuse. Honestly, it looks like a slipper or flip-flop. I know that's a pic of a CCR, but the basic proportions are the same on the CCX. Damned right. The Aston design is "right". It looks good, has proportions that are just right, and IMO is exactly what comes to mind when I think of a performance car.

  7. Drifting a FWD pos..... Yeah... he deserved that.
  8. I don't like the CCX.. Looks like a metal slipper and has crappy aero dynamics. Most exotics create downforce to keep the car on the ground. Koenigsegg though it'd be a good idea to let the rear create lift. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMb7hdjILc0 That was the second timed lap. The first wasn't too fast because the rear wouldn't stay down. The Stig said it'd turn a much better time with a wing on the back. Keonigsegg took the wrecked one back, fixed it and slapped a wing on the tail and, whaddaya know? It posted a great time. Not Brian has it right. 9. Not surprising actually....
  10. Virus SD-14 appeared to be nothing more than a cold or weak flu so it was ignored for most of it's initial stages. It wasn't until nearly the entire world was infected before it's more dangerous stages were discovered. By then, the entire population of the world except for Madagascar was infected. It was only a matter of time then. Complete system failure was the penultimate stage of SD-14, striking people down wholesale and effectively stopping any chance for a vaccine. Now, just under a year after the first case was discovered, the world is a desolate wasteland except for the small country of Madagascar.
  11. Haven't seen the movie, but it was on TV. I managed to flip to it just in time to see this gem: (:nws: due to the N-word) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIqo1RopWMU I lol'd
  12. The webcomic Sequential Art managed to capture Top Gear perfectly. http://www.collectedcurios.com/SA_0532_small.jpg
  13. Ich spreche Deutch nicht sehr gut. 1 year of Latin, 1 year of German, and 2 years of Spanish; and all I can speak/understand is English. Bollocks! I am interested in Rosetta Stone however. I'd like to learn Japanese.
  14. Soon it'll just be 1. Wait for last yellow 2. Hit gas 3. Perfect run 4. Repeat 5. Yawn For the record, Formula 1 got MUCH more interesting when they got rid of traction control. And I'm sure their systems make this one look like a pocket calculator.
  15. $12/day total.... give or take. That's plates, insurance, and fuel. They're all paid off, so no payments to figure in. But that's not counting mods and maintenance.
  16. How about: If you are running street tires on the front and drive THROUGH the water box, you're an idiot.
  17. Can the stock fuel system handle "double your boost"? I also have to question the wisdom of performing a *permanent* modification to tune the engine. Not to mention "crush" and "bend" aren't exactly precise. Maybe I'm just being silly, but when the cost of failure is thousands in an engine rebuild (or replacement), I'm not going to cheap-out and start "crushing" or "bending" parts. Do it right the first time, or pay for it later.
  18. Tell them that since they can't reach you with digital and HD programming that you know satellite TV can.
  19. This is the stuff they use: http://www.camcoat.com/2.Thermal%20Dispersants/TLTD.html
  20. Perrin is SHIT. GrimmSpeed does thermal dispersant paint. http://www.grimmspeed.com/
  21. LOL-tastic, and I bet you don't know why.
  22. My Lincoln had it on one of the trunk lid arms I believe.
  23. Hi! I'm a fish! But I wanna be a viper when I grow up. For now though, I'm an econo-box. My parents say it's what's inside that counts, but my drivers keep falling asleep.
  24. I don't think these count actually..
