  1. To be clear, he didn't drop $9k to buy that ship. He more than likely bought it with in-game money he earned by playing. Or he won it in a tourney. I don't remember that supercap from when I was playing, and the article said there were only 3. So it could have been a giveaway from the devs as a prize. Or built from the new resources/blueprints they've been adding to the game. In which case, it was built entirely from in-game time. That's not to say he doesn't have a pair of $4.5K gaming rigs....
  2. As someone who grew up in Plymouth MA and Cape Cod, I can't stand anything "Nautical Themed".
  3. I had a choice; watch it rot away in a garage somewhere just so I could say I owned it, or sell it (preferably someplace where I won't see it) and use the money for something I'm actively enjoying.
  4. Fuck.. Have to change my car's name now..
  5. I will always miss: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3059/2624954895_63c07d8fbb_b.jpg
  6. Dropping Loeb on Pike's peak is like dropping a dolphin into an Olympic swimming race. Yeah, the other competitors are top in their field, but he's just made for it.
  7. NOD32 used to be a very small footprint. But it's been about 5 years since I've worked with it.
  8. I will own one some day... Oh yes..
  9. The only time my car felt like that, the last alignment guy didn't tighten the toe adjustment of my rear wheels enough and I had massive toe-in. The tar patches on the road would cause the grip between the two tires to vary making the rear "dance" in the rain. So I'd say, get your alignment checked.
  10. Want. Though, to be honest, I think I'd rather a LS swap.
  11. I know it may not be the most efficient shape considering today's aerodynamic technologies.... But the prototypes of that era just look right. I wish they still looked like this.
  12. Check out any national car forum.. New Thread: My car got stolen! First reply: Do you live in NJ?
  13. A third track? That's pretty crazy. And kinda dangerous, scheduling-wise. They better do their research. If there's three tracks in the US, Bernie might just rotate the tracks each year rather than run all three. That would kill the income for everyone.
  14. Looks good, I'll have to give them a visit. Thanks.
  15. Hmm, looking deeper, from what I see "Nibs" are just larger chunks of cinnamon. The chips are more like chocolate chips, but made with cinnamon.
  16. So, the other day my GF found a recipe for some amazing cupcakes that fit into our diet. Unfortunately, one of the ingredients is Hershey's Cinnamon Chips. These seem to be pretty hard to find. I was wondering if anyone knew of a year-round source for these in the area. Buying online usually means doubling or tripling the price when it comes to shipping. The recipe: 15oz Canned Pumpkin 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix (just the dry mix, no other ingredients off the box) 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Cinnamon Chips (mix in, or sprinkle a few on top to cut more points) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray muffin tin with cooking spray. Spoon in to cups 2/3 full. Bake 15 minutes. We figured out the cupcakes come to about 2.5pts each on the Weight Watchers scale. They're super moist, kinda dense, and don't rise much, but they're super tasty. Thanks for any help locating those chips.
  17. See him just keep adding more steering angle? The guy didn't know how to drive.
  18. The warranty isn't voided; the claims were denied. There's a difference. Now does this mean the dealership will happilly fix that tick in the engine when you show up stanced? Not always. But legally they have to honor the warranty until the changes caused the issue. The unfortunate side is that if the dealership makes a stink, it becomes the customer's problem to decide if they want to lawyer up or not. But any dealership service on the up-and-up won't deny a warranty claim on something completely unrelated.
  19. Nice! Just got done working on/cleaning mine. Lots of hours with only one big FU to DBA brakes. (If you're looking for rotors, don't bother with them.) To be honest, I'm glad you got a FR-S. They imported 3 FR-S for every BRZ and yet I've seen maybe 5 BRZ for every FR-S on the road. I did too, until I saw them in person. Then I did a complete 180. The FR-S starts at about 24,250 (before destination) and can be considered a base model. If bells and whistles aren't your thing and you want the lightest version, it's the one to get. The suspension is tuned a little more loose for easier slides. Scion will also be offering special additions of all their cars, including the FR-S, called the SC10N series. You get a Special Edition silver paint and most of the BRZ's extra options. So there's that to choose from too. But it bumps the price to BRZ Limited territory. The BRZ starts at about 25,500 (before destination) for the Premium. Above the FR-S you get NAV and HIDs, with some interior tweaks. The Limited starts at 27,500 and you also get Fog lights, Rear spoiler, Leather/Alcantara heated seats, and automatic HVAC. The BRZ's suspension is tuned to be a bit more stable. Some prefer it, some prefer the FR-S setup. However, the moment you change the springs the differences go away. Most aftermarket springs/coilovers/etc strike a balance between the two; livening up the BRZ and stabilizing the FR-S. Beyond those and other cosmetic differences, the cars are identical. Pop the hood on the Scion and you will see Subaru stamps everywhere. Sit in the Subaru and you start noticing a lot of Toyota touches. Umm... http://frs-tuner.skipthediet.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Scion_FRS_Damd_Body_Kit_16.jpg http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/gallery/overkill-toyota-gt86-with-lexus-lfa-body-kit-by-damd/toyota-gt-86-gets-lexus-lfa-body-kit-from-damd-photo-gallery_12.jpg :gabe:
  20. To be fair, these days the cost/benefit ratio isn't very high.
  21. Lies. Nothing voids a warranty short of declaring the car totaled. Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act A warranty repair can be denied if the modified part caused the issue.
