  1. Maybe another option would be a Cobalt SS, in the trusty automatic 2.4L configuration rather than the manual, boosted 2.0 everybody knows about. It looks identical to the boosted cars with the same fascias, a smaller spoiler, and 17" SS wheels rather than 18s. My GF has a 2007 and its been a solid car really, very cheap and easy to work on (top of motor oil filter cartridge is awesome). Also reasonably fun with the SS suspension and 170hp. Only complaints I've ever had with it is that the suspension is noisy. I replaced spring isolators and struts while back and it eventually developed a rattle again. I understand its somewhat common on them.
  2. I live just off 33 on Pickerington Road and it took me 2.5 hours to get to Riverside Hospital today. That is ordinarily a 30-40 minute trip if I leave before 7. I did not exceed 15mph until I got to 70 west. On 70 I didn't get above 25 at any point. 315 was slightly better but by that point I was already 2 hours late. There is no alternate for me aside from cutting over to 70 through Pickerington, which is worse 95% of the time.... When I buy a house it won't be 33 dependent for sure. They need to convert it to a true limited access freeway without stoplight/ turn lane intersections and go on ramp/ off ramp only. That would let them raise the speed limit from 60 to 65 and reduce the stop and go EVERY morning.
  3. Parents were asking me if their iPad 2 is worth anything. Its an A1397 2nd gen model w/ 3G + wifi 16gb model, which I don't believe is the "retina" display. All works and great shape if you or anybody else is interested. Not really sure what its worth.
  4. BW3's on 5th! Nice ride sir. Did you seriously buy it without consulting wifey? Surprise Porsche?
  5. I'm guilty of leaving mine out out because they aren't power adjust. I hate manually re-adjusting the mirrors every time I fold them out to tow (they rotate 90 degrees to extend) so I just leave them in moose antler mode at all times lol. http://www.rigsofrods.com/images/imported/2013/08/408224_386133984790983_2065436662_n-1.jpg
  6. I would like to shoot this weekend as well, and I've never been to an indoor range. I've been told that weekends are packed and you usually have to wait at most places around Columbus. I was also considering Ohio Valley out east, but their site gives almost no information other than hours. Anybody know if the outdoor state park range at Delaware is still open or closed for the season? Or even Deer Creek?
  7. Yea not sure, didn't really consider it enough to investigate a whole lot.
  8. I did my taxes with HR Block software last night, and I was offered I deal where I could redeem my refund for gift cards worth the value of my refund + 10%. This appears to be the new gimmick. Best Buy, Amazon, and a bunch of others were options I believe. I opted for cash.
  9. Was also going to suggest Rolla.
  10. First car was a 1996 Ford Contour "sport". I bought it for $2800 when I was 16, and parents helped me with $1000 of it. It was a 4 cylinder 5 speed with power locks, power sunroof, but annoyingly crank windows. I had subs and sweet neon shit in it like every other kid in highschool, and the obligatory stainless muffler. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Contour.jpg It was actually a nice first car, very clean. Eventually put the wheels pictured on it.
  11. +2 for auto hotkey. Can build a macro to not only replicate keystrokes but mouse clicks, text box selections, etc.
  12. Any word on a timeline for the Galaxy S6? I'm due for an upgrade in February, through Verizon. Debating on what may or may not be worth waiting for.
  13. I'm not kidding muddafuckas. Perhaps my ears are broken, but many people love the exhaust.
  14. I was not familiar with Harry's Garage, I will add it to my youtube channels after watching this. Thanks for sharing! Also, I realize this is ridiculous as I type it, but the in-car exhaust sound in the video is VERY similar to my Stealth. DOHC, cylinder count divisible by 6, 7k redline... basically a Lambo IMHO IYAM etc.
  15. As a dude, lotioning up before bed isn't well suited for setting any kind of mood. Doing nothing and letting your hands bleed on the sheets though, they love that shit.
  16. My GF is a nurse and they get bad hands from washing so often. She uses something called aquaphor and it works well. It doesn't rub in quickly though, so what I've done when my knuckles split is coat my hands with it before bed and then sleep in latex or nitrile gloves. Kind of bakes it in lol, but it works overnight.
  17. Fixed for you. Can confirm.
  18. I agree with everybody above, I really enjoyed the class. Dad and Uncle had a good time as well. I know I left feeling much more capable and informed than when I arrived. Good luck cutting back to 8 hours too, I feel like most all the material discussed was valuable.
  19. The retro solutions bulbs are plug and play, or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean.
  20. Only the ebay/amazon specials melt because they have no current regulation or thermal management. Superbrightleds stuff is generally good quality if you choose the right bulb for your application, and they have good customer service if you do have a failure. Their light output claims are also accurate.
  21. I would suggest trying either of these models in 921/912 which should interchange with your 194 wedge base application. Depending on the orientation of the bulb in the backup light housing (side emitter vs. end-emitting) consider these two: http://retro-solutions.net/product-info.php?921_912_906_T15_5W_CREE_LED_Reverse_Wedge_Bulbs-pid699.html or http://retro-solutions.net/product-info.php?921_912_906_T15_5W_CREE_LED_Reverse_Wedge_Bulbs-pid787.html They advertise 470 lumens each, and are priced as a pair. They may not be quite 470, but I understand they are damn bright. They also have decent current regulation and will step down and dim on their own if they get too warm (should not be an issue in a reverse light application). I don't know much about them, but if you're feeling froggy I've always thought these were intriguing: (3500 lumens above your license plate - $150) http://www.vleds.com/new-lpf.html http://www.vleds.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/imageBig/900x/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/l/p/lpf_5.jpg http://www.vleds.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/imageBig/900x/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/l/p/lpf_4.jpg
  22. I still have a nice alpine for sale, seen here: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115076 I would do $50 on it.
  23. Okay great thanks. I didn't get anything in my inbox no, not since you had confirmed myself, dad and my uncle. Not sure what the deal might be there sir.
  24. I pm'd you as well, but is there room for my buddy on the 28th?
