  1. I can't figure out why there is an "Extra Gear". It seems like they could combine the content from both shows, eliminate a lot of garbage, and end up with something pretty solid. Chris Evans and his histrionics is definitely the weak link of the show. Overall okay; I'd much rather watch bad Top Gear than yet another season of "Real Housewives of xxxxxx"...
  2. All hail our new horsey overlords. Looking good!
  3. SCCA's first event of the year is this Saturday at NTR.
  4. Man, so sorry I had to miss it.
  5. Not sure what shoes you're on, but don't overlook the tires if you're autocrossing. All the suspension on earth won't do much good if you don't stick.
  6. Nice; that's before the Mini's got all bulbous and ungainly. I like that generation for its economical styling and sheer compactness. Must be a hoot.
  7. Aw, man; engine build still not finished, and coilovers still not delivered. TOO SOON, JUNIOR.
  8. I see that kind of thing ALL THE TIME, but it seems like it's usually Rangers instead, in my experience.
  9. I have been kicking around the idea of hitting the CAM challenge, but since my CAM car is really just my daily driver on street tires, the time and expense don't really add up.
  10. Just registered for the SCCA fun run at NTR April 9th. Have to wake up the Bullitt because wrong-wheel-drive's engine swap won't be ready yet.
  11. That's because there isn't any...
  12. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160316/eba9e676054a9070e4c00243bec2724a.jpg Yenko... third-gen?
  13. Not sure if serious... EDIT: OK, I guess it was a stock BULLITT 3-valve - which is a stock 3-valve with 3.73's.
  14. Heck, I trap 106 in my stock 3-valve.
  15. I love Macho Man, but all these details about how many championships he's held really has nothing to do with his athletic ability; it's all about what the writers wanted to do that week. In the words of Richard Lewis, "Nate the Bed-Ridden Jew" could have held 20 championships if that's the way the scripts went. Not to say he wasn't in great physical condition, or wasn't a terrific athlete, but WWF championship titles aren't a good measurement of those metrics...
  16. FIAT did that for Abarth buyers as well. It's cool to see manufacturers get behind things like that.
  17. I'm doing ann engine build in March, so hopefully it will be finished and tuned by April... if not, I might be exercising the Bullitt for a couple of events.
  18. OVR-SCCA revealed their tentative 2016 schedule. They are still "waiting to finalize a contract and get board approval of our budget", but this is the list as of now: April 9 - Fun Event April 30 - Points Event #1 June 4 Drivers School June 5 - Points Event #2 July 16 - Points Event #3 July 17 - Points Event #4 August 6 - Points Event #5 August 7 - Points Event #6 (Governors Cup) September 17 - Points Event #7 September 18 - Points Event #8 October 1 - Fun Event October 2 - Backup Date October 15 - Backup Date All events are being held at National Trail.
  19. Exacty, the vet in Delaware doesn't have board-certified Oncologists on staff, either...
  20. My wife works for MedVet, so I'm biased. But we've had our dogs in there more than a few times for emergency work, and they're second to none.
  21. It will probably be a turbocharged 1.3 that makes 140 horsepower or something...
  22. With 4.56 rear end, I'd certainly hope so!
  23. We have had Schoedinger take care of all the cremation arrangements for us in the past; they have been very easy to work with. They handle everything for MedVet, which is where my wife works. We've never doe anything in-home before, though.
