Why does Cincy "deserve" the shot against Florida? I think TCU is the best of the unbeatens not in the title game. Maybe better than those in the title game. They're a truly complete team (top 10 offense, top 10 defense) and won by 4 TD's on average. Cincy has no defense to speak of and their offense has one speed. TCU killed the two top 25 teams they faced by a combined score of 93-35. Cincy beat the two top 25 teams they faced by a combined 4 points.

People who are blasting Tresselball and asking for aggressive play calls during this game are insane. Everyone is so scared of Oregon's offense yet they want to give them potential for more plays? Grind it out on the ground (like you should be able to due to their weaker defense), control the ball, eat clock and play great defense. Limit their possibilities to score and they'll take even bigger risks on offense than they already do due to impatience and frustration which will force mistakes.

Exactly. The Rose Bowl and conference title were wrapped up. Do what you have to to win the game (ie. score at will after every Michigan score) then start getting healthy for the Rose Bowl.

Starting next year the OSU-Michigan game is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. There's your extra week. Unfortunately, Tressel is 2-4 coming off of bye weeks so we'll see how much that helps us...lol. Not the worst D in the country but OSU did score easily. They got a defensive TD to start the game and pretty much shut it down. Michigan got a FG in the 2nd quarter, OSU comes right back to score on an 80 yard drive in 6 plays. Michigan gets a TD on a short field after an INT, OSU comes right back and drives 90 yards for a TD. OSU was pretty much toying with them. As for Oregon... OSU will probably have to put up 30 to win. The D will be the best Oregon has faced but Kelly is a great offensive mind and they will find ways to score on OSU. OSU will just need to limit those opportunities by holding onto the ball and sustaining long drives with solid running which I think they should be able to do pretty easily. OSU averaged 230+ yards per game rushing their last 3 games, 2 of which were against much better defenses than Oregon (PSU and Iowa).

I definitely had Duke/Wisky and Illinois/Clemson pegged as losses before the night started. Had Minnesota and Michigan winning though. Stupid Wolverines. Looked right on Illinois for a while but Clemson is just awful as per usual. I think something like 4-5 of the last 5-6 years they've started 10-0 or better then lost more than half of their remaining games to end up in the NIT or getting bumped out of the 1st round of the NCAA's. What a joke of a program they are.

I agree with everything in regards to THE GAME hence the "aside from simply being THE GAME" intro...lol. Just giving thoughts on the relative "quiet" we're experiencing this week.

Aside from simply being THE GAME this game has very little additional incentive. Normally there's a Big 10 title or BCS berth on the line. Regardless of the outcome on Saturday OSU will at least share the Big 10 title and still go to the Rose Bowl.

Should be able to see some kind of improvement between the Michigan game and the Rose Bowl too. Didn't get to see much between the Michigan game and the Fiesta Bowl last year because of his shoulder but a full set of bowl practices should give us a decent glimpse of the offense for next year since they're not really losing anyone on offense (Cordle but we have tons of OL as good or better than him now and Ballard but Stoney should be able to show off his skill set next season with a more mature Pryor).

I'd rather just take the 5th straight conference title and the 1st trip to the Rose Bowl since '97. But that's me.

I knew that kid was going to have a great game the way everyone was dogging him, calling him James Van Der Beek and writing the game off like it was going to be easy because of the way he played against Northwestern. Can you imagine being thrown into a game like that to try and merely preserve your undefeated season then the very first play you throw an INT? No way he was going to recover during that game.

It's somewhat baffling that Tebow is going to be in NYC for the Heisman presentation in a month with those numbers whereas some OSU fans want Pryor to be switched to WR with nearly identical numbers...lol.

Tater Tot is already calling for a W to get the seniors into a bowl game. That dude is going to be broken in half. He's already been beaten up bad this season but OSU's DL is going to murder him.

I mostly read/post on the national board (which is where the post was) and read recruiting updates and stuff. The OSU site is largely worthless because they have no "inside" information and the people who post on their forums are morons. If it weren't for the national stuff I would have canceled after the 1st year.

Actually, I did do it on my own at about 4:15 this morning...lol. Some LSU fan posted on Rivals (college football/recruiting site) "Congrats Ohio State - you proved that you don't even need a QB to win a championship in the Big 10." The version of the 360 he got with the MW2 package has about a 10% failure rate. No where near the numbers seen with launch 360's and the version immediately following that. I'm paid through like 2012 (no need to go further since the world is ending then) for about $60. You can usually find 12+1 month cards for $30 every couple months.

Yeah, I've seen tons of ladybugs all over the place the past few days. And there were 2-3 cars in the Wendy's drive thru the other day that were being attacked by bees. Including mine.
