  1. Overrated chants start up, ESPN turns down the mics...lol.
  2. Something I've seen people pointing out is Oklahoma's pacing. Who does Alabama have trouble with and who has beaten them the last 2 years? A&M who can speed things up and Auburn who will really put their foot down once they break a big run. I mean, Saban even publicly bitches about how these "tempo" offenses are "dangerous". Against more traditional offenses in most of the SEC Bama can send talent in waves. Against a team that is willing to speed it up they can get winded or confused and beat. Obviously still another half to go but pretty nice showing from Stoops and Co. thus far. Also, very nice how well this tweet is backfiring for SeCspn analyst/whatever Paul Finebaum... Paul Finebaum ‏@finebaum 1h I jumped on an elevator and already missed Bama's first score. I guess Stoops still thinks SEC is all propaganda.
  3. From Virginia, been committed there forever. Same with Andrew Brown. Both ranked in the top 10-15 nationally and going to enjoy sub-.500 seasons at Virginia. Had they fired London I thought Blanding may have ended up at OSU. And not sure about the Glenville kids. Could just be trolling and they end up still announcing on Saturday but we'll see. Last Glenville DB to goof around with his AA game announcement was Latwan Anderson. Look how well that went.
  4. If you're somewhat decent at basketball and stay for more than 2-3 years people will think you were there a decade. Like Aaron Craft. Really young face, in his true senior year, people think he's been here since the Scoonie Penn days...lol.
  5. Good luck to Fox on beating OSU in a BCS bowl for ratings. :lolguy:
  6. He was injured his freshman season. Missed the first 3 games due to NCAA clearinghouse stuff. Played the next 4 but was injured pretty early on in the Wisconsin game. Missed the last 5 of the regular season but played in the Sugar Bowl. People seem to think if OSU would have sat him in the Sugar Bowl it really would have helped as the injury would have then been considered "season-ending." So it was far from "grasping at straws." Dude missed the equivalent of a full season due to injury, more than a full season if you add the NCAA stuff and never took a regular redshirt. And apparently this is a B1G decision, not NCAA. Either way, neither of them has been kind to OSU recently. Glenville kids and a bunch of other OSU commits/targets are at the Army All-American game and that's on Saturday. Only OSU commits in the game today are OL Jamarco Jones and LB Raekwon McMillan. No real OSU targets in the game.
  7. Pretty lame but I guess it was a bit of a long shot anyway. Next year's secondary will be Grant, Powell, Bell and 2 others TBD. Just need 2 of Reeves, Burrows, Conley, Apple and Webb to step in.
  8. Nebraska getting the win thanks to 2 big drops by UGA in the red zone their last 2 drives. I'll take it.
  9. The pick 6 was so fucking dumb. A&M's run defense is bad. They had just run for 5 yards on 1st down. They should have been eating clock. They snapped the ball with ~15 seconds left on the play clock and passed. Pick 6. Losers. That seems to be the general thinking here. Got something at GNC that wasn't approved. Too bad he didn't just go around signing thousands of autographs for memorabilia dealers for money. Could have gotten off with a half-game suspension.
  10. A&M getting beat pretty good by Duke but have a feeling this will end up close. O'Brien to the Texans. Supposedly OSU got back in contact with 5* DT Thomas Holley recently. They allegedly pushed him for a commitment a while back and stopped recruiting him when he didn't want to commit then. Obviously I've already posted that I think Gesicki will flip. Would be nice to have a first come, first serve situation for guys like Thomas, Nnadi and Holley.
  11. Malcolm Jenkins? Coming in most people felt Burrows was going to end up at safety but I agree... he looked really good against IU. They went right after him when Grant came out and he didn't give up a thing. An interesting story about Reeves that I read this past week... he's supposedly AMAZING in practice. He just has bad nerves or something and plays like a complete turd when it counts. Maybe if Roby is out and Reeves has to really step up on a stage like the Orange Bowl then he'll break through the wall. Or just look like an even bigger turd and never see meaningful playing time ever again.
  12. Darron Lee's mom was wrong... Jerry Emig ‏@BuckeyeNotes 3m Food poisoning is not the issue with the Ohio State team. A flu bug has hit some admin staffers and some players but no starters involved.
  13. Cam Williams has been awful in the playing time he's received this year. Johnson got dinged up or something after seeing some time early. They shelved him thinking he could get a Devin Gardner special redshirt but apparently not. I know around the Illinois game Meyer was openly admitting that he felt redshirting a guy like Mitchell and some others may have been a mistake. I don't know if Laurinaitis is a good comparison. He was so instinctual. Mitchell is an athletic freak but, at least coming in, wasn't really a linebacker yet. I think he'll be more comparable to Shazier. Guy I'm thinking could be the next Laurinaitis is McMillan. According to the recruiting services he's ready both physically and mentally. He's an early enrollee too. Will be on campus next week. That will be interesting. Team is playing Friday night then Monday they'll have 6 or so new guys jumping right in for winter conditioning.
  14. Yeah, I feel like losing defensive guys isn't a huge issue because they can't get much worse. If offensive guys were dropping my view of the game would actually change. Darron Lee's mom just tweeted that some OSU guys, including her son, have food poisoning now as well. :lolguy:
  15. Not sure what's up with Spence, hopefully nothing serious. And I think the Brown stuff is just him trying to drum up a little excitement since everyone has had him to LSU for so long. Just wants people to actually pay attention to his announcement to make sure he chooses LSU. Not like Notre Dame is some joke of a team. They beat the B1G champ this year as well......... :fuuuu:
  16. 5-star phenom Sugar Shane Morris will step right in and lead them to the promised land. :lolguy::gabe::lolguy::gabe:

    what router?

I have this router and recommended it for a friend as well. Has never given either of us any issues. http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wireless-Router-Gigabit-WNDR3700/dp/B002HWRJY4/ref=zg_bs_300189_8
  18. The second to last play of the game... Minnesota WR had a real good shot at that ball. Should have caught it.
  19. I've had a feeling since seeing Jameis before the Clemson game then the way they throttled Clemson that he is just a Vince Young-type personality where he's loose, confident and will not let his team have a letdown. But I also can't shake the feeling that Auburn and the SEC are going to do it again.
  20. That BSU kid allegedly pissed off the balcony of the team hotel. He claims it was another person, maybe another teammate, and that he was sent home wrongly for doing nothing.
  21. A&M has a guy named Claiborne suspended. Drug thing a couple days ago.
  22. MSU senior MLB Max Bullough suspended for Rose Bowl, ending his college career. Dude is a captain and academic all-American. Wonder what the fuck he did.
  23. 19 right now. Lattimore and Smith from Glenville makes 21. Solomon Thomas, if OSU can get him, would make 22. Hopefully an OL from somewhere makes 23. A TE would be 24. I feel like I'm missing another likely kid but can't think of him right now.
  24. They seem to want a TE. They've got David Njoku visiting in mid-January. Listed as a WR/ATH but most feel he's a TE prospect. I think they'd prefer Gesicki if he becomes available.
  25. Bill Greene on Scout has had a lot to say about Corey Smith (was a JUCO kid who redshirted) this year and went as far as saying he may be the best WR on the team. Marc Givler on Rivals is chiming in with his own thoughts from his sources and says Georgia Tech transfer Jeff Greene (who couldn't play this year due to the transfer) may be the best WR on the team and his sources would be surprised if he wasn't the #1 WR next season. Greene is 6'5" BTW. Something I just remembered though... since these guys are redshirting they're probably doing basically nothing but scout team work. Which means they are going up against OSU's pass defense. :lolguy:
