Apparently OSU stopped recruiting Holley a week or so ago. I think they pushed for a decision and he didn't have one so they said best of luck and moved on. They don't think he's good enough to wait on, scholarships are tight and they are in the thick of it for Solomon Thomas out of Texas. Lonnie is an academic risk and he's already been recruited over in this class with Noah Brown coming in. He was informed to look at other options. Will probably end up at a directional school in Michigan.

Yeah, U-verse announced the caps a long time ago and I had them for 5-6 months where they were supposed to be "in effect" but they were never enforced. I was well over it every month.

That's exactly what the college football live guys talked about with regards to MSU's defense Saturday night. That's why they're so good. Because they're not out there trying to do another person's job. They each do their own and that's that. Plays where Gardner or whoever would try and reverse field, those can be big plays against an undisciplined defense. Against MSU it's just more and more negative yardage.

I forgot about the Ole Miss loss myself but went to check the SEC conference standings to try and figure out the scenarios there after reading your post and saw they had 2 losses and it all came back to me...lol. And yeah, Auburn's turnaround has been pretty remarkable. Malzahn's career has been quite a roller coaster ride. Flashed big-time at Arkansas as their OC, left after one season due to crap wit Nutt, hung out with his buddy in Tulsa for a bit, resurfaced big-time with Auburn under Chizik, got out of there for a bit and boom... right back in business.

LSU has 2 SEC losses already. Only way Alabama isn't in the SECCG is if they lose twice (including a loss to LSU) or if Auburn wins out and beats them. And no matter how bad people think OSU and their schedule is I can't see a 1-loss team from any conference jumping ahead of them.

If Bama, FSU, Oregon and OSU remain unbeaten then you will see Bama and Oregon in the title game with OSU playing probably Stanford in the Rose Bowl. No cool game with Baylor or FSU. They'd be in their conference tie-in bowls. Stanford would be at-large and the Rose would pick them up in a heartbeat to keep the Pac 12-B1G matchup. I was pretty surprised to see Baylor as a 2 TD favorite against Oklahoma on Thursday. Baylor had a rough time with Kansas State who, if anyone forgot, lost their season opener at home to FCS North Dakota State. But Vegas isn't dumb so we'll see. Thursday night should be a lot of fun.

It was announced as 11/22 and never changed. You may have pre-ordered somewhere like Amazon or something who kept estimating shipping dates but the actual release date has never been anything but 11/22.

I feel so ashamed when I stumble upon a good movie on TV and realize it's on CMT. For example, tomorrow they're showing Ghostbusters and on Thursday Ghostbusters II. Why the fuck are those on CMT? I would absolutely stop on them when flipping through channels then not realize it's CMT until a commercial then hate myself.

Lou and Rece point out how OSU has been very impressive the last couple weeks and the southerners get a little antsy so May throws out the little "level of competition" line a couple times in a row to soothe them back into their ignorance. And once again OSU lost points in both polls after another blowout. Baylor gained points, not just ground due to OSU losing points, but points... during a bye week.

While they won't be there, MSU and Wisconsin both deserve to be in the top 15. MSU turned some heads today with what they did to Michigan so they might make a little jump they wouldn't make otherwise. And I think I pointed out Carlos' numbers after last week. He's got at least 4 games left to get 299. So 75 ypg. He'll probably have another Purdue-esque outing against Illinois. Then he may have to grind out some yards against Indiana to keep their offense on the sideline. I could see him eclipsing 1,000 in that game if he puts up a little over 100 against the Illini. I really want to believe the defense has improved and a light has gone on for Fickell. I think that may have happened at halftime of the Iowa game. There will be dedicated servers this time around. So it might not be so terrible. I'm downloading the digital dual license for Xbox 360 on Tuesday. Have it download while I'm at work then when I get the Xbox One I can download it on there as well.

He's the author of the article "From Champs to Chomped: How Urban Meyer Broke Florida Football." He really, really, really hates Urban. At least half as much as Josh. :lolguy: Hayes wrote and published that article right around the time he was hired at OSU. All the Gator fans were just like "Haha have fun OSU fans!" And we were all like "Man I sure hope he breaks us like he broke you guys to the tune of 2 national titles." Also, I thought this comparison post on reddit from a completely unbiased person (Georgia Tech fan) of Meyer vs. Saban was solid and he points out a lot of the reasons I start to salivate at the thought of Urban being at OSU until he's around Saban's age. He posted this in response to the CBS article where it mentioned Urban and Saban as the best two with Saban being the clear #1...

Yep, Urban was all over the place after winning the SEC title game making his case and Lloyd just sat back and waited. Reminded me of the scene from Fahrenheit 9/11 showing the democrats sitting by the phones waiting for congress or someone to call them about the voter/ballot issues in Florida...lol.
