Not sure if I said it in this thread but I've said it before, ND could be back. Under Weis they did lots of things right offensively but never defensively. Kelly proved at Cincinnati that he could do it right offensively and went to ND and started acquiring high level defensive recruits and this is what you get.

Reading that you can toss broken patella on there as well. Hopefully, especially after his injury last year, he had one of those athlete insurance policies.
-
Broken femur and tore all 4 ligaments in the knee. That's going to be really, really, really hard to come back from. Kid is an amazing talent too.

I think RR has always been a good coach. Kiffin is also a complete ass though.

PSU considers OSU to be a pretty big rivalry so I love it when OSU beats them in their place. Same with Wisconsin although I'd almost consider Wisconsin to be a more legitimate rival to OSU than PSU is. PSU had their big win in 2005 and an iffy win in 2008 against Pryor as a freshman but Wisconsin took OSU out in 2010 which was an awesome team. But maybe they did OSU a favor since that season ended up vacated anyways.

PSU fans are VERY upset with the officiating. Loving it. Their forums are a joy to peruse right now. I'm all like...

That was some Neo-esque shit there.

Gonna need the whole scene methinks...

I have an unnatural disdain for Hall because of how much nevada has slurped him for the last 3 1/2 years. And also how much nevada has trashed Hyde in comparison. Is Hyde the next MoC or Eddie George? No. But he's pretty damn good. nevada always talks about Hyde's tweet last year when he talked about not getting carries as if it was the worst thing done by an OSU player ever. Uhhh... how about your golden boy Hall? He was actually suspended for violating NCAA rules. Tweeting something in a moment of frustration or violating NCAA rules? Which one is worse? I'm sure Hall is a great kid and honestly keeping someone like him who is a great 3rd down back (knows the blocking schemes, can catch the ball out of the backfield, etc.) on the team is just like getting a 4- or 5-star commit for another year but my hatred runs deep...lol. Kid hasn't done much (his best attribute so far has been a few really nice kick returns) and he can't seem to stay healthy. Maybe I read it wrong or heard it wrong on Meyer's call-in show on Thursday but he made the most recent re-injury sound like it could be career-ending? Like he (Meyer) was just hoping he could get healthy enough to return next year with that medical redshirt. Just have this awful scenario in my head where guys like Quick, Gibson, Stevens, etc., etc. all want to commit and Hall taking up space prevents that then does absolutely nothing next season.

Only a moron would say it. OSU has played an FCS school twice in its history and it was 2007-2008 against YSU which a lot of people were unhappy about but accepted it because it was obviously Tressel wanting to do something for his former school (pay them, let them experience playing in the Shoe, etc.) Lots of years OSU plays 2 AQ schools and 2 non-AQ/FBS. Or 1 AQ and 2 non-AQ/FBS. Just like everybody else. OSU does have another FCS school on the schedule next season (Florida A&M) but that will likely be it for the foreseeable future. The way SEC teams manipulate their schedules is disgusting to me. They have byes or FCS teams before their toughest games every year it seems. OSU is the only team in the country right now with 8 wins and they still don't get a bye for another 2 weeks. And because of that they are beaten up. Urban said they may not even take a full travel roster to State College this week because they just don't have the healthy players.

Yeah, OSU-Texas and the exposure that got really kinda kicked off the primetime OOC matchups around the country early in the season.

I think Herschel's was more like Allen's (not even on the TV show). Both happened as the group explored deeper into the prison, both had their legs hurriedly amputated by Rick (and to some negative responses by the other survivors in the comic IIRC) but the outcome is still TBD. Could easily combine the Allen/Dale amputation experiences into Herschel. And apparently Kirkman wanted it to be Herschel who lost a leg in the comic originally but decided against it because half his kids had already died (a few more families and sets of children in the comics to start) so he felt bad for him...lol. And Dale's death in the comics is so much better than the TV show. But it can't be explained here without ruining potential future plot lines.

Saw it on Around the Horn and PTI just a bit ago. Kiffin is really an epic troll.

 Let me go post a Bleacher Report article that says Cincy initiated the opt out because their entire team had HIV. Hold on a sec... :lolguy:

Depends on who they replace him with but I'll give it a try now as well. Torg was awful.

The B1G is the SEC of basketball thing was just a joke because of the rankings. 3 of the top 5 teams... B-1-G! B-1-G! B-1-G! But yeah, like DaddyBuilt said, rankings thankfully don't mean much in basketball. Deshaun should average over 20 a game. Then Craft will have to be more assertive on the offensive side. Not sure I'd put Amir at 10+ a game just yet. Think Thompson will go 15+ a game and Lenzelle will be right around there. Then you've got Scott and Ross off the bench with some scoring ability. Could have another Diebler-esque shooter off the bench in Della Valle. They'll be fine. I think this team is actually more Matta's style. I really don't think his system excels when there's an Oden or a Sullinger who just need to have the ball fed. The teams with Oden and Sullinger were incredibly successful but Matta did just as well at Butler and Xavier without those kinds of guys. And I will also miss the old Big East. The Big East tourney is almost always a must watch for me. An awesome warm-up for the big tourney every year.

I remember during the Indiana game they talked about IU possibly being #1 pre-season and I was just like...lolwut. Then the poll came out and it was true. But yeah, B1G is pretty much the SEC of basketball. Deshaun Thomas is going to score 80 points a game. :gabe:

Probably smells shitty too.

Also whether or not it has had a conversation with Clint Eastwood.

I know a guy who lives near Elder and he's been pimping him since this time last year...lol. He's a Vandy fan (guy I know, not Elder) but would love to see Elder in Urban's offense. Said he does have concerns about the competition he plays against though. Not sure he has a real offer. And Knox would be awesome. The new guys have hit it hard on the DL since they've arrived but they really need some OL. Really hope Dorian Johnson comes OSU's way in the end for 2013.

I know there was a bit of a mix-up when Garrett came in for the spring game. He didn't have a field pass or something so he had to sit in the stands like a regular fan while Raekwon and everyone else was down on the field having a good time. I think he named MSU his leader after that but everything got cleared up. Garrett, Booker and McMillan would be a monster LB core and would definitely get everything going in the right direction as far as that position group is concerned. And it looks like OSU will have its first public commitment for the class of 2014 next week when 4* WR Thaddeus Snodgrass out of Springfield, OH announces his decision.

double derp... left the second one since it's on the new page lolololololololololololol

Raekwon is seemingly pretty good friends with potentially the #1 recruit in the country for 2014. Virginia DE Da'shawn Hand. Not sure about anyone else but those 2 communicate for sure. And I remember some rumblings about Conley de-committing from Michigan or wanting to visit elsewhere a couple weeks ago. OSU probably got wind of that and decided to get an offer out to him. Heard he was "soft offered" a couple weeks ago by the staff (whatever that means) but it's all official now. Have said it before and I'll say it again... Urban just can't help himself. He lives off of flipping recruits...lol.

I talk with several UF fans regularly and most of them have basically the same feelings you have. But there were tons of UF fans and UF media people who blamed Meyer for everything they could after he was announced as the OSU head coach. I remember a whole article dedicated to how Urban destroyed UF. http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2012-04-09/urban-meyer-florida-ohio-state-ncaa-violation-recruiting-drugs-program-will-musc There it is. Read it months ago so don't remember everything that was in it. But right off the title talking about how Urban broke Florida football...lol. I just remember all of the OSU fans who saw the article saying... I sure hope Urban breaks OSU like he broke UF... you know, with 2 national titles and all. Glancing at Florida's depth chart on Rivals (I know it can be extremely inaccurate) and all your starters are sophomores, juniors or seniors. The only sophomore who is starting for UF who committed after Urban retired is Marcus Roberson. The rest are all Urban recruits. There are 7 freshmen listed as backups at various positions which are obviously all Muschamp kids though. I'm not saying the way Urban left/came back/left again didn't hurt UF... like you said, his final season and Muschamp's first were results of several different things, mostly related to Meyer not being 100%. Just people saying he broke the program or left no talent or whatever else they said because they were upset with how Florida performed in 2010 and 2011 is mostly ridiculous. IMO, Urban is currently responsible for 2 undefeated top 10 teams. :gabe:
