  1. Did you see the latest satellite photo, the chinese have a huge battleship floating.

I'd like to think we could beat them but in todays world setting not so fast.

If they have military intel that would/could slow us down

    mace

That battleship is a joke. All it says is they're trying to grow their capabilities. They're still decades or more away from having any naval power that's even close to where we are now.

China has a bunch of our debt? Haha, good luck collecting on that! Brb, printing more money, inflating shit, reducing the significance of their debt. If China (or anyone) thinks they can get one over on American businessmen, bankers, etc they're in for a rude awakening.

  2. It's funny because instead of JDM for Japanese domestic market it's KDM for Korean domestic market. Although I'd specify South Korean if it were me, because who the hell wants to be from North Korea?

There you go old people. Consider your import-vocabulary increased.

  3. True...But some people have different ideas on what's worth the money. Some women don't care about the ring. Not saying I didn't but some people just have different views on whats important in a relationship and sometimes it's not the ring!

What does a $1000 ring do better than a $100 ring?

    What's gained? Nothing.

    What's lost? Extra $900. :gabe:

My wife would rather have a weekend getaway, a few nice dates, etc. than an expensive-ass trinket. Just how I like it. Booya. :fuckyeah:

  4. he's saying he liked that game and would probably like this game but refuses to pay a monthly fee.. as do I. Maybe if the game were free to download and it cost like five bucks a month that would be different.

    Oh, I understand.

I play world of tanks sometimes- is free to download and play but costs money for some perks and advantages. That's a solid concept I expect to do well.

  5. I loved Jedi Academy but refuse to pay a monthly service for a game.

I never paid a monthly service to play Jedi Academy online, wtf?

Paying a subscription fee after already buying the game is completely retarded. I will not endorse any of that faggotry.

  6. One of the guys I used to work with carried the m&p 9mm and his was the same even after the hundreds of rounds that has been shot through it. The HK P30 would deff be on the list but I'm really trying to keep it to around $500. And even used those aren't cheap.

Doesn't sound like he shot it much. It's going to be iffy to find an HK in that price range. Maybe one of the older USP trade-ins.

    Just don't buy a hi-point.

  7. I thought I had short fingers but I can hit mine very comfortably. You id try the different grip options right? Many of the M&Ps I have felt have been a little gritty out of the box. Nothing affecting function, and it smooths out with use.

Might want to look at a HK P30 as well.

  8. In regard to the ruger, they haven't been making a decent semi-auto hand gun for long enough to trust them. I Don't doubt that the sr9c is a great gun but if you look at the brand and look at the others in question, there is no doubt your buying a gun from a company that has a good history of making great guns, not a few years of making a good gun

This is a great point. I love Ruger and own many of them, but they have a wonderfully long history of being a little retarded. I am very happy with my 10/22, and 22/45 though. If you're worried about reputation you might want to research Sig, as their QC kinda went downhill awhile back. I don't know whether they've straightened their shit out or not.

  9. The slide release sucked ass! And It wasn't just that one specific one, I've messed with 3 and they were all the same. So just off that it was a no go. I want it to be comfortable.

Then you probably won't like a glock slide-release either.

    What didn't you like?

    Hard to hit?

    Too much tension?

  10. The reason people now buy acura and lexus over MB is the same reason on a larger scale that honda and toyota out sell gm- too many problems. An acura drives like a german car fwiw imho. Lexus cars do not- short of the ISF. Which is why we bought an RL over the GS.

What? I thought it was because they really liked their toaster, I mean accord, but they got a raise and wanted something their kid wasn't driving.

  11. Also to the folks that don't like Glocks.... Why? What is it about the Glocks you don't care for? (Not trying to bait someone into an argument, just curious)

-Excessive fanboism (you'll get that with any decent product).

-For fuck's sake, why can't they fix the .40 pistols? Seriously?

-If they didn't make the slide so blocky, homeboiz wouldn't keep shooting them sidewayz. You can't tell which way is up?!?

-They work entirely too good for how much they cost.

    -Their magazines last too long.

-Their corrosion resistance is just ridiculous. Just rust already!

    -Stealing customers from 1911 manufacturers.

    I could go on.

  12. Then get a Glock because nothing else has been used and abuised as much as the glock brand.

Just don't come to us crying when it makes funny wear marks and weird things start happening. It's a Glock, it's supposed to do that. Don't ask questions until it stops working.

  13. They have a loaded 2011 (new) MDX - with technology and entertainment package (including rear DVD), the upgraded wheels and tires, fender flares, ski rack thing on the top, etc., etc. for $56k out the door - tax, title, everything.

They also have a loaded 2012 TL - AWD, upgraded package, etc. - for $46k out the door.

Good deals, bad deals, or about right?

Holy shit, $56k for a fuckin ACURA? WOW!

  14. Lucky it happens to be in a small area where even if I miss the lead won't go outside of my house.

FYI the people who get it have switched from shotguns and subguns to the AR platform. The 5.56 round readily breaks up after passing through building materials, where pistol/shotgun rounds do not.

I hope none of you are basing your 12g choice on "It won't penetrate 3 walls and hit my kid/neighbor/etc." That being said, there are some very very good self-defense shotgun loads available.
