Welp, when it comes to desktops IMO they're all about the same. They all come with bloatware (so do laptops) so be prepared for that. Id still recommend 16gb of RAM and an i7 if you want it to be "up to date" for more than 3 years.. Find a way to upgrade the hard drive as most of them still come with mechanical HDDs.

Id pass on windows 10 this early in the game. LOTS of bugs as with any new release. Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for a year which gives them time to release some service packs. Personally, 3-5 is a lot to expect out of a laptop(assuming, who buys desktops anymore?!) these days. Things are moving exponentially in terms of hardware requirements. If you were serious about the 3-5 thing id go with either a macbook or a thinkpad. Macbooks will hold their value better than just about anything out there. Thinkpads are durable as shit and will physically last 3-5 years of hard use. HPs business class of laptops are another good choice. personally, id avoid Asus/Dell like the plague. As for specs, Absolutely no less than 8gb (16gb if you can afford it) memory, and a newer i5 (i7 if you can afford) processor. Dont buy anything with a mechanical drive. Solid state is the way to go. As mentioned, this all comes down to how much you want to spend.

Why is this such a misconception? Eating healthy is NOT expensive. I can cook my GF and i healthy meal for under 4 bucks. You cant get much for 4 bucks at any fast food establishment. Fresh produce is cheap if you know where to look. Buy whats on sale for the week and eat that. Healthy =/= organic.

I NEVER play the lottery or gamble but will be picking up a few lines today at lunch. Figure the more people that buy tickets, the higher the odds someone gets a winner. Ive always preached that the lottery is a tax for the stupid.

Hint: They all suck and they will all take you around the block. Ive had both Time Warner and ATT. Actual service with both have been decent (we pay for 18/2 with att but see 30 regularly) but the customer service is bad for both. Bills always creep and have "misc" fees that were not there the previous month. just my .02

8gb is barely enough anymore. Id up it to 16. Also, youre forgetting windows which is another 100 bucks.

Picked up a new BLS from Mag on tuesday. Installed it last night. Immediately noticed the light doesn't come on right away. It seems the little plunger thing doesn't want to extend when i press the brake pedal. I can hear it clicking sometimes like its catching inside the switch itself. When the plunger gets stuck it causes the ABS light AND the ESP light to come on. Tonight i will take it back apart and see if i can get it to work properly.
