Redline NEBO are some of the exact lights I'm talking about in my post above, I had 2, one I even made NEBO replace and that one went bad too. They start out bright but die quick. Both the multi-LED version and the single LED with projector version. A GOOD led light doesn't need a projector lense, the diode it's self puts out the light, if you see a projector run away. I agree the x300 is a quality light, but I don't see it being worth 2x what a tlr1 is, it does not put out 2x the light, or have a 2x better UI, so why the 2x price?

On my rifle I have a tlr-1s and for EDC I use a streamlight polytac (Cree c4 led), as far as I know the polytac ($45 at Vance's, $35 amazon) is the cheapest way to get the K2 led (the K2 is the true, manufacture name for what the flashlight companys call the "cree c4")in a reliable package. The tlr-1S is different from the normal tlr-1 in that it uses a Rebel TFFT led (thin film flip transistor) TFFT is some of the most current led technology out, the current production, tlr-1 non-strobes use the K2 led (again what a "Cree c4" actually is) And on a side note I will never waist money on a remote/tape switch again, I have my tlr1s mounted on my rifle in a position I'm able to work the paddle switch with my support hand, to many things to go wrong with the switch. I also won't ever buy another LED light without tons of research and going threw reviews and reading all I can, to many cheap china lights out there that may put out 200+ lumens for a few days/weeks/ maybe even a month but in the end they will drop in performance very drastically. Even the Fenix lights are known to the high-end led world as being crap, but they're the best of the crap. I recommend anyone serious about a light, anyone who is considering spending over $50 on a light, to go to candlepowerforum and check it out, there are some great lights out there with great life spans and performance for the same or less money than some of the crap people waist there money on. Make sure if your jumping on the Cree C4 bandwagon that you get a REAL c4, you do that by buyin a trusted brand, there are c4 knockoffs on the market that look the exact same but may not even last 1000 hours, let alone 50,000

I decided because of how much pmags are going for, and since this is a spare, I will take one loaded pmag for this. As long as you didnt buy it recently you'll have between $25-35 for a still in package rear black sight. ANY pmag, ANY .223/5.56.

Hilltop. West broad @ Hague ave is one block from my house.

I just received a new in packaging black gen 2 MBUS direct from magpul. I don't have a problem throwing it in the spare parts box but if someone here needs/wants it ill take $45 for it, that's $15 bucks off retail. Would also take 2 pmags (used is fine) 20 round preferred but 30 rounders are cool, not interested in any USGI's sorry. Shitty cell pic, just wanted to show it is bnib, it looks like every other gen 2 MBUS you've ever seen. http://cdn2.armslist.com/sites/armslist/uploads/posts/2013/01/18/874825_01_bnib_rear_black_mbus_gen_2_640.jpg

16in bushmaster pencil barrel assembly. $185.00
Cereal_Killer replied to 2pointslow's topic in Other Stuff
What chamber? Chrome lined? What size gas block does it take? Being a pencil profile should be .625" right? Barrel nut /delta ring included? -
WTT snap-on 3/4" breaker bar for ammo or mags
Cereal_Killer replied to Cereal_Killer's topic in Other Stuff
Just wanted to try one last time, at this point I would take a trade with a value of just $50 bucks for the bar. Ammo- .223/5.56, 12gauge buck in 2&3/4 or 3", bulk .22lr or .40cal. Also would take two AR15 mags, 20 or 30rnd Pmag or 30rnd usgi's. -
Do we all need to run out and get our 30/20 round mags now?
Cereal_Killer posted a topic in Dumpster
Are we at that point yet? That hi-cap mags are going to be pulled off the shelves soon? I have about a dozen AR mags but with my 2nd carbine almost complete I would like to have some more on hand, I'd really like about 5 more 30 round pmags, do I need to run out and pick them up while I still can? What about 20 round ones? Are they in danger of being illegal too or are they going to be impossible to find after 30rndrs are illegal and everyone needs something else? I am to young that the last AWB didn't effect me and I don't know how things were to know what to expect. On a side note walmart is completely out of every type of .22lr ammo, is this because of the shit happening or just because of the Xmas shopping season? -
Well then even if a standard buffer wouldn't so anything (I know it wouldnt be physically pushing on something like in an AR it just seemed like maybe it would absorbe some of the inertia and dampen it) would a hydraulic buffer setup from an AR not be the same exact thing as the mesa buffer system just that the mesa is built for that application. And yes I understand that technically you only use the tube, lock ring and stock but why would an AR buffer not dampen some of the recoil? When the trigger is pulled and the gun begins to recoil back the buffer would be moving as well, when the gun hits the shooters shoulder and stops moving rearwards the buffer would be able to continue farther against the spring, taking some of the force out of the hit. Would that not technically work like that? Edit: And yes I realize that a 3.9oz piece of metal isn't going to do much, not like the 35% reduction in felt recoil I've seen the mesa hydraulic buffer claiming, but would it really not do anything at all? We're talking free spare parts here, the only thing I had to buy was the moe stock and the leo adapter, I had a complete spare buffer setup on hand so if it would provide even a couple % reduction in recoil I'd take that.

I just bought a NEF pardner pump and also picked up a mesa Leo stock adapter for the 870. I have a buffer/MOE stock I plan on using but then I saw the new recoil buffer mesa is selling and wonder why I can't Just use the AR buffer and spring in the AR tube that I'll already be using? Maybe get a heavy buffer for the blowback carbines?

This is exactly the reason I have an AR I built off an 80% receiver using all brand new parts that has only had a dummy round chambered to check function, never fired, never even chambered a live round so that even a dog couldn't detect the scent of powder on it, kept hidden in my floor. Not cause of this video or Katrina specifically, but just I case the govt ever tries to take my guns. Did they give the guns back? I have a 1938 mossberg from my great grandfather with no serial number that while its only about a $200 gun it's priceless to me. How would I get that back without a serial number. I know tons of people have guns with no serial number or no other identifying markings at all, what about all them? Do we all need to consider serializing all our old guns?

Over the past year I first got into reloading with the mentioned lee single stage kit, I then got into swagging the projectiles out of .22lr cases. It's SLOW but it's enjoyable to sit down at my work bench and tune out the kids, I live in the inner city so I don't get to shoot much and this gives me something gun-related to take up my spare time.

I've got a brand new, never used Snap-On 3/4" drive breaker bar pn SN18B. I got it as a replacement for a broken older model and have others and after looking on eBay and other auction sites and seeing that brand new ones are easily reaching 90+ dollars at auction I figured I'd offer it up for trade for ammo. If you really want a pic I can txt you, reply with your phone number, but this is literally brand new, never even had a socket put on it so its perfect. Please email me, I don't come here often- Dgostlin1@hotmail.com

I always go to the westland shows just cause of the fact you are aloud to take your dog in to the mall. I picked up my used and dinged up but perfectly working 512 for $250 cash last year

Honestly man if its a nice quality heavy belt I'd go with the 1.5", unless your carrying other shit like a mag pouch and a light or other crap your not going to need the extra width at all and like you said its already wider than you've gotten use to. I'm a nylon fan myself and the 1.75" nylon belt I first tried was way overkill, the only thing I carry is my weapon, no other accessories or anything, I went to a 1.5 inch pretty thick nylon one now and do not have any problems supporting my holsters without it flopping around, even if I'm going mexican around the house with my clipdraw, I see no need for the overly wide belts just to carry a gun alone.

During photos are good too, they like that for some reason. A lot of these people who do the inspections are car guys themselves, not just scary LEO's who want to fail you. Make sure your horn works, they will fail you for that.

Um yea, I get kicked off all the time from multi-player and special ops. My HD is very empty so I dont think thats my issue.

What walmart has $4/box? I went there today hoping for that price cause I usually get the 100rnd box for $40 or the 40rnd JHP box for $30 but when I got there the cheapest stuff they had were AR223's for $6/box.

Yes but I dont carry pepper spray, I carry a gun lol. I havent seed a dog being pepper sprayed but I was at a demonstration where they were being CS gasses and they almost didnt react, the normal reaction was to clear their nose and keep on doing what they were doing. Then again there's bear spray, maybe a stream is worse than gas.

First I love dogs, I have 4 myself and several of my friends pets are dogs I personally rescued, I would never randomly hurt a dog or shoot it for no reason... Last night about 10pm I was walking my biggest dog Mota (85lb pit) down the alleys as usual and a dog that lives just a few houses down that always goes crazy jumped the 6 foot fence and came after me, this was about a 90+ pound husky that I'm sure could have done a fair amount of damage to me. I dropped Mota's leash and he didnt hesitate, he stopped that dog from getting me and engauged it while I had time to get the gate open and I managed to get it back in its yard and continue our walk. After I got home I checked out my dog and he had a pretty nasty cut on his face, I started thinking about how bad that could have been if I had one of my smaller dogs with me and not big Mota, the damage on him showed I could have easily been fucked up pretty bad. The rules on when you can and can not shot a person are very well defined but what about a dog, when do I shoot? That dog could have easily caused major bodily injury to me but do I even need that much? I mean I'm sure I could have fought the dog and kept it from killing me (I hope) but its a big animal, I would have taken damage no doubt. When is shooting a dog justified? Remember dogs are property, they have no value assigned to their lives in the rule of law (except police dogs, double standard much?)

I need to keep the FSB cause this rifle's mostly for my dad to shoot and he wanted one that reminded him of the A1 he carried in the army. I actually managed to find an original fixed sight carry handle colt upper I'm using, I'm going for the A1 look but can only use a 16" barrel, dads only got 1 leg so the added weight of longer barrel and handguard might make it front heavy for him. I wanted to use the RRA rail so it matches my other rifle but I didnt think about the front sight issues till today, its got a MOE on it now that I had laying around.

I'm pretty sure that Troy is just a CAR length hand guard with a bolt on addition on the front of it, actually a CAR length from Troy is one of the ones I was looking at but I specifically wanted the RRA one I mentioned. Is there any way to modify a longer one, like cut a slot in it or anything? I mean of course just get a low pro gas block and cover it with the rail but I actually want this rifle to have the standard A2 sights, thats why I got it.
