Good deal. Those Wipers should really start to turn on here in a month or so, try throwing some topwater poppers/zara spooks. Also, don't be like 80% of anglers and quit fishing come Fall. The best bite of the year should start in about 3 weeks, and continue for a solid two months (at the very least). Even if they do give a vague description they're not going to admit to it in court. Your best bet is to either luck out and the cop(s) dont show up to court (in which case your basically dismissed), or ask for a plea bargain before going before a judge. Your chances of winning a case with Officers present/testifying are slim to none IMO.

Not as familiar with Oshay, but for Griggs keep flipping the bank with a Jig N' Pig or Spinnerbait (literally stick to those two), regardless of water level. Don't spend to much time on each individual piece of structure, just keep a steady pace down the bank pitching any available structure you see. This is all coming from the big-time Bass guys, none of whom have ever mentioned targeting fish deep. Also keep your eye open for Wipers blowing up bait balls and/or gulls diving on bait. The single most time consuming factor in Traffic Court is your initial appearance (to plead Guilty/Not Guilty). Your 2nd Appearance (Preliminary Hearing - when you actually get to talk to the Prosecutor) is cake. You go up front to check in, then immediately speak to the Prosector (at least in my experience). Both times I've gone to Court (Preliminary hearings) i've been out in less then an hour. Your initial hearing is a different story, again, i'd suggest you show up late to the initial hearing in order to avoid waiting around to enter your (Not Guilty) plea. Sitting around on some broke-dick wood bench for 3 hours just to say "I wish to plead not Guilty" is by far the worse part of the entire process.

I always take my cases (all traffic btw) to court, I always have come out ahead. Don't understand why so many on here think you have to hire a lawyer; all you need to do is dress in Business attire and ask to speak to the prosecutor. More often then not they (Prosecution) will cut you a deal right off the bat, at least Franklin County will. Also i've never had to wait more then an hour at "trial". The first time the Prosecutor flat out dropped the charges, the other time I plead to a lesser charge and was immediately brought before the judge. Also, your initial court appearance will "require" you to show up @ 9:00am. THEN WAIT FOR UP TO 3 HOURS TO ENTER YOUR PLEA. IF YOU INTEND TO PLEAD NOT GUILTY SIMPLY SHOW UP WAAYYYY LATE TO COURT, like 11:15. 85% of the room (or more) will be cleared out and you can literally walk in, plead not guilty, then turn around and walk out. Takes 10min MAX. Fuck waiting around for 3 hours. This works for Franklin County, not sure I would try it anywhere else.

My buddy has blown out his knee twice and broke his femur (years ago) still has issues with recurrent pain. Doesn't take any pain relievers, just smokes 5+ joints (of le chronic) a day. Expect 50% of the US to Legalize it within the next 7 years. Brother lives out in Washington and he can walk down the street and buy it legally now. Those of us who grew up in the 90's only dreamed of these days, even though I haven't smoked in years.

Judge is going to ask the ground trooper if he saw any other "black jeeps" in the area, Trooper is going to say "no". Case Closed. Just my 2c. Out of curiosity how fast was he going?

Le sigh, I have confidence fishing muddy water, just not after dark. I took a few breaks because I have disfigured toes and it's painful to stand on jagged rocks and fish, and it's not really worth killing my feet when the bite was off. And last but not least you each caught one fish a piece.

LOL, actually nearly every spot ive nailed them at this year ive found this year but anyway. Yes i am partially biased to the river, but honestly Griggs is rated (or was rated) by B.A.S.S as the best Res. in Central Ohio for Bass, not sure if this is still the case, but ask other serious Bass anglers on OGF and they'll almost surely tell you the same: Griggs and Oshay are excellent Bass fisheries.

Also Griggs is running much clearer then Oshay ATM.

Honestly i think Alum is considered to be a rough Bass lake by most Bass Anglers. Griggs (Reservior) and Oshay(Res) hold excellent populations of both Largemouth and Smallmouth, although Alum does have some huge Smallies. With those River Reserviours try throwing the biggest brightest spinnerbait you can (firetiger works well) while slowly working structure along the bank.

Alum only holds Dink Fish :gabe:
