Hey guys, A few months ago my friend built his SR20 motor, upgraded his turbo, etc. 700 miles after build, he wrecked his car. A month ago I picked up an SR20 hatch and just last weekend I swapped over his built motor. The motor in my car was in excellent shape with no problems, I just got an upgrade from him (at a cost of course, ha). I have 2 options here for people. The swap will all the upgrades, or just the baseline swap. Option 1: Swap with all upgrades: SR20DET Redtop engine T25 turbo and manifold (2) Legit SR20 (not KA) Transmissions- one has a slight grind into 3rd gear. One has a grind above 7k from 1st to 2nd. NON SKETCHY Harnesses- these were properly pinned out and done correctly, not some high school kid bullshit. E5 ECU SR20 Non ABS Drive Shaft Circuit Sports Urethane Motor Mounts Other randoms for swap (mounts, most hoses (you will need a couple from Autozone or whatever, bad to reuse them) Samco Coolant Hoses (700 miles, purchased brand new) CX Racing Aluminum Radiator 2 Fans (pictured) Stage 2 Exedy clutch (2k miles) ACT Lightweight Flywheel (2k miles) Isis downpipe with full downpipe and test pipe, also will throw in the unknown downpipe (pictured below) CX Racing FMIC Kit (missing one pipe, I had to use it on my build) HKS BOV, not sure if knock-off. I got $1000 total and spent it on a laptop and 1 book for college...got more for college and used that towards paying off my huge bills from my new house.

I always ask scenario questions. As others said, anyone can spit out tons of numbers and stats about how awesome they are...it takes a good salesperson to think on their feet and improvise. Here is one I like to ask: "After a presentation to potential customers, you are asked a question by the audience that you have no idea the answer to. Do you wing it and make something up and correct yourself later or do you inform that you do not know (and potentially look unprepared) in front of everyone?" I've gotten some interesting responses to that one. For what it's worth, if your answer to the late/AAA/hooker question was what you typed, I'd fucking hiring you right on the spot. And I mean that. Too many people are too uptight.

I had an SVT Contour for a few days...it was fun as hell. Quick, handled fair decent for a 4 door, tons of mods available, and luxurious (for that year). Leather, power everything, etc. Just don't take a turn too sharp...the 2.5L's are known for oil starvation from the head

I don't know many of you guys but I have really been getting into golf lately. Played 3 weeks in a row now at Winchester in Canal and have been doing decent. Been to the range 10 or so times and now have 3 (9) hole rounds under my belt. Shot a 59 both times on the back 9 and a 55 on the front 9. Hopefully this course isn't much harder.

For anyone who can't sleep at night wondering what our decision was (ha) We have officially chosen Tall Timbers. To all those that recommended that, thank you. I thought about getting a C300 instead of the Accent, and that's as far as it went...a thought. I looked at common problems and maintenance prices even from RockAuto and it wasn't worth it. Definitely check out an A4 or even an Infinity G35x (I think that is the 4 door one). Much more luxurious and may only be 1-2k more.

I ready the whole Jalopnik article...it honestly looks to me like this guy is setting up the shop to take 100% of the blame. The welds don't look bad at all and the guy is complaining about them. Forged has offered numerous times to fix the car and he isn't responding. Forged fucked up, big time. However, it seems to me like they are trying to help. That could also be because it went to viral they are afraid for their business.

I towed a S14 240 (~2700lbs) from Indy to Columbus with a 94 Ranger, haha. Any F-150 will be perfectly fine. It shouldn't have a problem with most boats either.
