  1. CR has spoken Thorne. Dwiggs is calling your name. Your services are needed under his desk.
  2. It's a Formula, all 98-02 Firebird/Trans Am tail lights will be the same.
  3. If they aren't open by June, I'd prefer to just have a refund on the "membership" I paid for.
  4. It's right on the borderline of where the TPMS sensor would be at, but If the city is paying, I'd definitely get a new sensor.
  5. Gets pics up of the G8. Saw one on the dyno yesterday with some headwork and a cam. Very impressive cars.
  6. Quit stalling and just take it to Brian already. Hope you enjoy, these things seem to be the new craze. Maybe in a few years when they are a little more affordable I'll grab one.
  7. You'll likely need to replace the TPMS sensor as well with how close it is to the sensor. Even if the TPMS light isn't on I would still recommend replacing it to avoid issues down the road.
  8. Sounds like we should come up with a new locatio away from the ricers for CR peeps to meet up if we had enough weekly interest...
  9. Thorne's rating- 0/10 Thats for his tuning skills As far as overall skills, MAYBE a 1/10
  10. Basically looks like you just need to remove the plug they spoke of, if it leaks trans fluid t is good. Personally I'd pull the plug, leave it out until it stopped draining and then fill until it drained again, then button it up and it should be good.
  11. Chalk it up as a learning experience and remember it never hurts to get a second sets of experienced eyes on it.
  12. She wants one. She has an unreal expectation of what she wants out of a dog, but I figured I'd post up and see if anyone had any ideas
  13. Ive heard this from someone before, but I wasnt sure if they were messing around all the time. That's about what she wants, smaller, doesn't yap, but is mean if it ever needs to be.
  14. This may or may not be a first on CR, but I'd like some reccomendations on a dog for my mother. We had to put down our Boxer who was 11 yesterday. Here is the dilemma. She is widowed and has Multiple Sclorosis. If you picture a "little old lady" this fits her to a T. She does very well with her MS, still walks fairly well and gets by great. The boxer was a little much for her, we had tried to train him but he would still pull, and even when he would barely pull while walking, that is still a lot for a 55 year old woman weighing 100lbs. She wants a big dog because she thinks it will deter anyone from breaking in if they hear a "mean" bark. She also wants a small dog so it doesn't have as much of a negative affect on her body. She loved walking him while no one an no animal was around as he would behave. She wants a dog that has as much of an elaborate personality as a boxer, just without the whole "look, a butterfly, lets chase after it!!" Attitude. If you've got any reccomendations post them up. We are going to visit a few shelters since she doesn't want to spend a lot and wants to rescue a dog opposed to buying from an individual in it to make money. Thanks in advance CR
  15. This, but an older Fiesta. My SL1 after a good tune up and cleaning/adjusting the rear brakes and balancing the tires and putting a perfect alignment on it see's 40+mpg per tank with mixed driving.
  16. Not positive but when we had Dish in Dayton we had something similar, they wanted a $300 install fee ad my dad tried doing it himself, Long story short we ende up having tem come to install it. Something about getting it Lined up right with the satellite idk. This was like 2006 iirc, things very well could have changed.
  17. Are they still paying you to nutswing? Or do Wigg's balls just taste that good to you?
  18. I'm not a sushi fan, but I s'pose I could go for some Sawmill. Not sure how long I will bear the cold temps if the wind remains how it was this morning, but I'll head there around 9:15.
  19. I am planning on getting their 3/8" ratchet to see how it does just for giggles.
  20. Today I realized a few more I love. Cornwell Disc pad separator.. P/N LS29100 It'll cost you around $75 online. Depends on your tool guy what you'd pay. Likely overkill for me, but better to much than to little. Does everything from single piston to six piston calipers. I get a lot of brake jobs and this really puts me on the plus side of things. http://i.imgur.com/VkXGHC1.png I also am gonna buy a Cornwell "strip out" socket set this coming Monday. I have a feeling that will become my new favorite. Another of my favorites is an mix of vice grips and pliers. I'll have to figure out where I got it from tomorrow and post up some pictures. Comes handy when doing alignments and the alignment software tells you the wrong size wrench for the adjustments. Lets you only take a wrench with you to bust the end nut loose. Another one of those things that sounds overkill but saves you running to and from the box. Also a BFH is nice for just about anything. A dead blow rubber hammer/mallot/whatever you wanna call it is nice. SUV's and trucks with more than 5 lugs on them like to rust up badly and basically weld themselves to the hubs. A few good whacks and they come right off. Editing this after seeing Pat's air tool post. I bought this gun when I took my new job, had my doubts but figured for $100 or so and a 1 year 3 month warranty, why not. So far it is amazing. http://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/impact-wrenches/12-in-professional-air-impact-wrench-68424.html
  21. You can't drive back there because they are all filled with frames.
  22. With some posts over the past months I've seen asking about tools, maybe it would be for the good of CR if we had a favorite tool thread? Post up your favorites, and those that have been a huge help to you in either your profession or weekend DIY use. Links to purchase the tool or a part number with a picture would be a great thing as well. A few of mine to get it going: Cornwell 3 legged oil filter wrench P/N- 27600 http://www.cornwelltools.com/webcat/products.php?product=HR27600-%252d-3-Legged-Oil-Filter-Wrench# http://i.imgur.com/6wNWIH2.png I use it almost every day at work, a few manufacturers have gone to tiny little filter's and put them in tight spots, this is a huge help in getting them off. For the money it is nice and saves you from dousing yourself in oil if used correctly. Works with a 3/8" drive ratchet. I'll add a few later on when I dig them up.
  23. Hangout was open all winter now In almost April you want it??!?!? That said I'd be in :gabe:
  24. I like how you think. I raise you two glasses and a shot of 1800.
