Yea, I keep hearin that. We only put about 100 rounds down range with the M9 to qualify, so that's all I've shot. And I can't wait to get my hands on the M2 and MK19! Luckily I'm a CATM guy once I get outta here and ship to the CATM school. Get to play with all the fun stuff then

    new favorite!

So I am currently in San Antonio, TX training in the USAF Security Forces Academy. I have a new favorite weapon, actually 2. I have shot the M4,M16 w/M203, M249 SAW, M240B, and the M9 pistol. Gotta admit that the M9 was much better than what i was expecting. Shot very well, and kept tight groups without any jams. But my favorite is definitely the M240B... ooooh man! Nothin like slinging 200 rounds/min of 7.62 lead down range. the m249 saw is what I am carrying throughout training though, which is still a badass weapon. Trying to clear a building with it is a bit of a bitch though... but the firepower in a room is amazing.
  4. New Albany Gun Range (Aim-Hi) has no such rules. Shit, they will let you shoot full auto if you have it, or they'll let you rent a class III from them. Great place to shoot at. Personally on the AR stuff, I'd stay away from Ruger. Spikes is a great weapon as is Wilson Combat, Noveske, Bravo Company, Larue, and the like. I've personally been considering a spikes piston for SHTF and a spikes lower with wilson upper for some sub .5 MOA fun.
  5. those are what i'm currently carrying in my 9mm
  6. not just more guns, but actual military training. i've long thought that the Israeli IDF and its mandatory service was a great idea. Just think how much better this country would be if everyone had to go through basic training and learn a trade...
  7. it's available until the 28th of dec. then i ship out
  8. nope, if i had an all original with the stock in great condition like in that photo. i'd be adding another 0 to that price
  9. with mausers there really is no way to lock down a date. The upper is a little bit of a later piece with the serial numbers on the barrel and the type of hammer, with a earlier lower. Either way this is at the youngest, from the early 20's. but i would put the lower around the 1916 or earlier date.
  10. i made the attachment... stupid computers
  11. this is my mauser pistol that i bought to start my collecting. With me leaving for the air force I've decided to dump some of my guns until I come back with moneys! askin $500

  20. i've toyed with the idea of birdshot, buckshot, slug in a shotgun. all being custom loads to keep the velocity down.
