i gotta say that actually, taking the person's wallet and cell phone is not a crime in this instance. you pull the weapon to stop the crime, then ask the person to kindly hand over his identification and cell phone to turn into the police that you are about to call immediately after the incident. quite a brilliant thing to do. now the whole other part of the story is illegal.

the barret is not a quote "sniper rifle" It's anti-personnel/anti-vehicle. It's made to stop vehicles primarily, and also lay out insurgents. The .300 win mag is a good change with a nice flat trajectory in comparison to the .308. Also you gotta look at cost. the Barrets are very expensive in contrast to the m24 and the MSR. not to mention the cost of the .50 cal rounds and the weight of the Barret.

The state can have a militia, and thus all the weaponry, training, camps, bases, etc. AND each and every individual has the right to bear his or her OWN arms to defend their own property/selves. One doesn't need to be a member of a militia to bear arms. period.

the thing is that he is a cop, announced himself as a cop. Civilian laws do not apply most of the time when it is an off-duty cop who is doing his sworn duty to serve and protect the community, even if it is his own property that is being taken. Here in Texas, it is perfectly legal to use deadly force to protect self, others, and property.

aimpoint m4s. it's what we are using on all our m4's. the newer s model is a little bit of an upgrade over the older one. it is much more durable and has better batter life. They are pretty darn good imo, especially for 300yds or less.

for sure. i'll be graduating here june 10th. then i'll find out all the training stuff once i in-process. i guess the Army is replacing the m240b with the MK-48. haven't seen anything on it yet htough.
