springfields are some damn nice weapons. I think my next pistol will be a 1911, i'm hoping for either a Wilson Combat or Nighthawk. There was a guy with a springfield 1911 in my ccw class yesterday... couldn't put more than 2 rounds on a foam plate per clip.... he admitted it was all him, though. you could tell he was thinkin about the recoil. ofcourse i wouldn't consider that a conceal gun at all.

i know that blazer was under $10 a few weeks ago, but got hiked up again.

Sportsman's Den in Shelby. 9mm blazer brass 10.99. Vance's it's 14.99 and new albny was 13.99. tons of shotgun reloading stuff as well. they are def. cheaper than everywhere else on ammo.

the pops just picked up a new Taurus 709. we shot that and my kel tec pf-9. both are the same slim 9mm carry guns. his taurus was super accurate right out of the box, yet very awkward to hold. kel-tecs have a 200 round break-in period, but after about 40 rounds i can put a whole clip in the 9-point ring from 20 ft. just have to get used to that sub-compact kick.

just bought a kel-tec PF-9. taking my class on sunday.
