um, noo. not even close. the suspension, frame geometry, and just the engine alone are def. worth that much. the moto gp bikes are $1million machines, so to have a detuned bike that is very close to the race bike for $65k is worth it.

it's a moto gp bike on the street. it will most likely be the fastest production bike if geared right. 200hp straight from the factory with a V4(L4). the best bike money can buy until that Motocyzc(sp) bike comes out for 100k.

idk about the STS kits, they seem to be able to make a pretty good amount of power. the power per dollar ratio is usually very nice as well. i've only heard a few people bitch about them, but never an owner.

i'm just sayin that the majority of high hp supras are dyno queens. ofcourse if someones gonna go all out and race it, it's gonna make some serious hp. i'd love to put one of those engines in a 225" dragster like i used to have. 200mph traps in sight. AND it would actually pull real hard out of the hole.

yes, alcohol needs more to make the same power, BUT, it runs cooler, burns cleaner, and has the higher octane. therefore alcohol can make much more power than gasoline, but you just have to throw a lot of it in the combustion. go to a dragstrip sometime. everyone with the fast cars are running methanol. we ran it in our s/c dragster and it was very nice to have and pretty cheap at that time. about $2/gal iirc.

and never off the dyno and on a track...gotta love a supra....

nothin wrong with BBF. i ran a 514 in my S/C Dragster a couple years ago. 8.1 @ 170's with the mild cam. plus we never used the 125 shot we had on the car. only problem we had was a bent pushrod at one point, and floating the valves on a burnout and then toasting both banks on the run immediately after. that's why we sold the car, 8 new hand made pistons and one new head plus some headwork on the other got REAL pricey.

i know of a small shop in condit, just outside of sunbury that can do the work. it's my best friends brothers shop, ATV Unlimited. they do everything.

i'm in centerburg. i know some of those stupid j-town kids. i had the black talon that looked like a pile of junk. i had a bit of a reputation and all those guys wanted to race me all the time. i just kept it at the track, ran a whole lot at pacemakers before parting the car out. although i do remember waxing some wrx with my '90 awd beater one time.

POS Z06 used to have a talon. can't remember who exactly it is, but he had a maroon AWD i believe and then got the z.
