  1. i didn't even notice his sig. anyways, M6 NA for right now but boost later, stock bottom end. hopefully driven alot, 3.50 gears.
  2. thats ric's spot, i'm across from him. nope dog has been gone a few months.
  3. it has a comp cam. .535 lift. in it right now, its starting to wipe so i am looking for a new cam. with that cam patroit stage 2 heads and an LS6 intake it put down 399 to the wheels, thats not up to my standards as i'm looking for closer to 500. got any ideas?
  4. i've had 2 jack stands collapse under cars before yet never a cinder block, the 2 i have were under another car at the time. no traction bars, you can't tell from pictures but these springs are designed not to wrap like stock ones did. and the car isn't designed for straight line only type of stuff. if i get it done and i find a problem then i may look into adding something but they said thay don't have a problem with wheel hop. i'll hold you to it, when its done i'm sure you'll see it in some sort of mag on the news stand.

  6. this is where i'm at now, waiting on a few parts to make there way in so i can put the dash back in and the engine and transmission back in. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro004-1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro011-1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro015.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro016.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro001-1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro011.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro012.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/th_sweetcamaro005-1.jpg

  10. you don't want it, i think this is more what your looking for http://www.gmbuypower.com/pages/submodelOverview/2007_Cadillac_XLR-V.jsp;jsessionid=D7E2B7E996D76F41AC580A9C65F0E093;jsessionid=D7E2B7E996D76F41AC580A9C65F0E093
  11. another thing that sucks about the paddel shifter, you have to push to up shift and pull to down shift. doesn't matter what side as both sides do the same thing. it would have been nice to have one side up shift and one side down shift and there reason they didn't do that is for left handed people, i kid you not thats what they told us on the C6 systems and features class i had to take for it.
  12. did you pull the #3 plug wire off at the coil to see if it has rust on it?
  13. no there real easy, yank them off with plyers and install new ones with a socket that fits onto the flat part. valve face= 45* angle part that contacts the valve seat in the head.
  14. your already in there so might as well and also replace valve stem seals. yes, i always put the valves in a cordless drill and clean them with a wire wheel, try and stay off the valve face as much as you can.
  15. it is when your not WFO on it, i had to to shift at 5200 to get it just before redline. i had the same thing happen on every LS2 i drove too but you would have thought they would have had that fixed by not. the new duramax with the manual shift button shifts almost as soon as you hit it, maybe they need there people working on a fix for it. where did you work at that you sold vetts and live in newark?
  16. start with the bad, automatic transmission, using the paddel shifters the shift delay is so bad i bounced it off the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd gear. thats all for the bad. the good, the new LS3 is 430 horse, the seat-o-pants meter said WOW over the LS2 corvette. i don't know if they changed the exhaust at all for 2008 but it seems to sound better that last years car, maybe its the 30 extra ponys makin all that noise;) . it hooks good from a 10 roll and pulls fast up to the 75 i took it too( i don't really want to loose my job for dicking off in a car) that is all.
  17. my buddy's shop can rebuild it for you pretty cheep, PM me if you want his number.
  18. maybe you should look into getting a EGT gauge hooked up. there only about $100 and could save you in the long run. last thing you want to be doing is replacing yet another engine if you don't have to.

  20. nope but they are super nice people to talk to, but they are out of state.
  21. D&D transmissions can sell you a brand new one that will handle 1000 horse for $2500 or rebuild yours to take it cheeper.
