unless it was a fuel misfire. clogged injector or so. a scan tool to watch fuel trims and what cylinders are misfiring would be ideal.

spray the lower intake with carb cleaner and see if the mis goes away.

coil isn't part of the opti. if he didn't replace it check around the base of the plug wire. you can also check the connector for the coil, sometimes the wire breaks inside the coating and can cause a mis.

we had ACI replace our roof about a year ago and it was also an insurance deal. they did a very good job on it and we pocketed about $2500 even after out deductible.

my dad said they have been getting a lot of motor fire into their FOB this past week. wonder if this is part of the reason why.

how much is my '01 LS1 that was rebuild about 6k ago worth? has an unknown aftermarket cam and made 385rwhp. it would be complete from LS6 intake to f-body oil pan no wiring or acc. just trying to get a ball park number.
