  1. you guys talking about wheel weight are wrong and right at the same time. yes that is unsprung weight so you are correct. what you are wrong about is the reason why your car handles better with lighter wheels. its not because of the unsprung weight its because of the rotational weight reduction. now on topic this is roughly what you have unsprung. i say roughly because it could be different from car to car based on how the components are mounted. Front: 100% of: Rim Tire Spindle Brake Bearings 50% of: Sway bar Shock Control arms Spring Rear 100% of: differential Rims Tires 50% of: Sway Bar Shocks Springs

  7. no. that clutch won't take a drop off a 2 step and DRs along with juice. while i agree with you that its a nice clutch for a mild engine and a DD it won't take what he wants to do. i had the LS7 clutch in my other camaro and my vette.
  8. cylinder wear. little bigger piston to make up for the wear in the plating in the cylinder liner.
  9. can if you want to, i always ran one size over. you don't have to do anything other than put it in like stock. rings depend on the bike, my 250's were 1 ring.
  10. should take about an hour. very easy. do not use wiseco anything, unless something has changed in the last few years they are pretty common to lock up. as far as over size, they sometimes letter the over size i.e. A, B, C. A would be stock size, i always replaced them with the B pistons oversize.

  12. looking for a good cheep camera to take pictures of the camaro project with. my currant camera died on me. its been a good camera but has hit the floor one too many times. just for lol part the camera i have been using is from 2004 and is a fuji finepix a330. its 3.2 mega pixels hahaha.
  13. i have a 6 speed so i'll have a 3.90 gear in mine.
  14. its still 1:1 4th in any 4 speed trans. wide or close ratio.
  15. with that transmission you better look at gears like 2.73 or 3.08 haha. that 4th gear is only 1:1 so with 3.73 you would be close to 4k rpm on the freeway.

  19. '69 camaros are gay in drag form. check the numbers on the trans. they also had the muncy M21 which was a wide ratio weaker trans. the M22 is a close ratio with a straighter cut gear which made it stronger and noisier.

    fuel lines are only good for 1-3 years before they start to turn to junk. as far as i know teflon is the only thing thats not effected by that. there is many cases of fuel lines failing after only a few years, mainly on efi cars. its one of those things they don't tell you. if you do a google search you'll see what i'm talking about.

    you'll be replacing them in about a year if you run it in those lines. you need to upgrade to teflon lined hose. hard lines need to be stainless.
