My GF coaches a competitive travel girls hockey team and this is spot on. She loves coaching and inspiring kids with the sport she loves but the parents are literally the worst to deal with. She coaches a play or how to do something, then players forget or don't execute and the parents want the entire coaching staff and manager fired, its impossible to win with these people. I hear all of it, they're not the most talented team but hard work can go far in that sport and the kids just don't get it. Then all the parents look at other organizations thinking they'll just go there and win, well how do you think they win? There's no secret formula that that team is using, all of USA Hockey coaching certificates teach the same thing, those kids are just executing and your child isn't. But no one wants to hear that. The best team to coach is a team full of orphans.

Surprised its lasted you this long, i was always told to always buy quality over price when it comes to real furniture you plan on having a while (bedroom, dining room sets, etc... ) I've had my bedroom set for over 7 years and its held up great even through a few moves. From what I understand about IKEA quality it seems to be on par with Sauder stuff? Sauder always haa that shitty MDF with a wood veneer over top.

Many years ago we had a family friend who started his own business as a Process Server. He said he had different tactics to make sure people received what they needed. If I remember correctly he was considered some sort of officer of the court and could testify that the individual was served even if papers weren't signed for. Not sure if this was true or not but he was fairly adamant about it. Putty, what happened? hit and run?

Drop her, don't ever talk to her again. I've had run-in's with similar types, you never know when they'll go crazy and claim you slapped her around or something fucking crazy. i had one girl LITERALLY pull out her hair in front of me yelling " I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY"...fucking insane. sex was great though.

HAHAHAHA no noes Trump is hilarious

Dumbest fucking thing I've read today, on facebook of course: "im not voting but still have the right to say what i want.freedom of speech!... and before you say (voting is why i have the right to freedom of speech). well i pay taxes!" That was word for word exactly what this guy, former coworker, said. unfucking believable. He went on to explain after some people actually voiced their support of his decision: "i feel if im voting for something, i feel i want what i want. If i vote for one of these so called soon to be presidents, i may get some things i like but im also getting things i dont. Which seems so dumb to others but im me and thats my right. im not telling anyone they shouldnt" I'm at a loss for words.

that is exactly what i have heard. Given that Trump doesn't share core GOP values, many think he would be the worst representation of the party. How's this, Trump vs. Bernie 2016?

If anyone needs to know where to vote and/or how here's a link with the some helpful information. I thought the candidate comparison tool came in handy as well. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/public/2016/What-you-need-to-know-about-voting-in-the-Ohio-primary.html

Briefly thought about putting this in the kitchen but we'll start this out as a friendly reminder to get your ass out there and vote. I'm 32 and can honestly say I feel as though this is the most important primary election that I've had the chance to be a part of. Regardless of party affiliation or belief system its important to get involved especially in a swing state. Any predictions who will come out ahead?

Without reading any other responses, you're in the photography / writing business is that correct? or at least that's what I thought your involvement was with them? If so, is there any way you can work remote? Personally (if the balls in your court) I would demand a healthy pay increase over what you're currently getting and that's just to cover the cost of living, let alone moving costs. That being said, EVERYTHING I have heard about living in cali turns me off to the possibility of it ever being a reality. The traffic, the firearms laws, the taxes, the emissions testing on all vehicles and EVERYTHING is more expensive. However, if this is your dream job and once in a lifetime opportunity that you just can't pass up... maybe you should do it? Good luck to you though, sounds like an exciting possibility.

mind if i ask how much? not sure what the market is still like on these, I have always liked them.

I actually never thought of that . That the quantity of auto loans being applied for would be considered. Wasn't there a stickied thread somewhere on CR a while back that had similar information? I'll admit, I only check my credit reports when I have to make a large purchase (like my truck) so I should definitely be more proactive in that sense.

agreed, get rid of all of the stupid looking decals. Those rims look enormous.

my brother has hammer toes, he always contemplated surgery, im going to show him this pic and he will never contemplate surgery ever again.

Just curious, and maybe some of you welding guys can answer this, how do you get those to line up perfectly while welding? Just mock them up with clamps, spot weld to stay in place then finish up? I would think it would be a pain in the ass to get them to line up perfectly and stay there while working on the rest of the piece. It is beautiful work though.

Let me be a bit more clear, She took her dog to her normal vet in Delaware county for treatment. This vet is normally much cheaper than any other vets located in Franklin. However she was still hesitant, maybe even unhappy with the treatment/diagnosis from her normal vet. So she asked around and a lot of people recommended MedVet thus she's going there for further treatment. She never attempted to try OSU, just going off advice from other's who have used both places for vet services and they all recommended MedVet.

Another good theory is whoever you match, she is probably the heavier/not the prettiest girl in the group picture she puts on there. I always thought it was actually fun to decipher the subtle clues in their pics. If they put up a pic of them playing collegiate level soccer at OSU or another big program they're probably fitness fanatics and/or extremely competitive. If all their photos are the chin and up and ONLY face shots she's probably thick (nothing wrong with that, whatever suits your tastes). If all her pics are out at a bar with a drink in hand she likes to party, etc... you get the idea.

My girlfriend just decided to take her black lab to MedVet for chemo treatments. Apparently veterinarian's can be cheaper in Delaware county, not sure how true this is? But she went to MedVet for a second opinion on her dogs cancer treatment. They're definitely very knowledgeable but very expensive as well. Hope your pup does well.

My buddy was talking to some girl from Zanesville (ugh) last night, she was really cute, funny, seemed fairly intelligent (a nurse, go figure) ... then I pointed out kiddy potty in the background of one of her pictures and it turns out she has a 2 year old. I told him to be honest, would he ever date someone who lived 50 mins away anyway? oh well.

My brother painted their kitchen cabinets white in their first home. Amazing results, opened up the whole kitchen area. Though i think they purchase some sort of cabinet painting kit from Home Depot for some reason.

Completely agree. I really like range rovers but if you're going to spend a chunk of money might as well lease and protect yourself from the huge maintenance costs. I'm assuming you've checked out other comparable SUV's? A good friend of mine just leased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, nice ride but again there's the issue of used reliability.

congrats! pics for proof though. Any plans besides just paint?

That's actually exactly what I was thinking, something that looks better and MAYBE slightly larger. Probably not interested in lifts as this is my primary form of transportation and has to remain functional / comfortable as a daily driver. I'll check out tacomaworld.com also, thanks for the info.

The heaviest item i tow is my hockey bag and/or a cooler full of beer, on a good weekend anyway. I guess i never thought of changing the gears, I'm sure there's an aftermarket for it. The more i own the truck the more I wish I would've spent a bit more for an extended cab and TRD package or at least a V6.

So I've have my Tacoma about a year and a half now and as much as I love it I'm starting to want to modify some things slightly. I obviously want to keep daily driveability but the wheels and tires are ugly, also have been looking at different grills that might give the front fascia an update. Anyone know of any dependable websites/forums that would be the go-to for these things? Also doing some research on common upgrades for drive train and suspension. For what its worth, its an 08 Taco, 2.7 liter four cyl, manual trans, short bed, 4x4. Its a 4 cylinder so its a turd. The manual trans makes it livable but its SLOOOOOOWWW regardless. I have thought of larger tires being too much for the tiny motor to push, maybe looking at exhaust/intake to offset that. Depends on price and if its even worth it.
