  1. I didn't want to bring that up. If the understanding of basic copyright laws is difficult I feared a discussion of usage and releases might cause heads to explode.
  2. If I tried to use another photographers pics then I'm stealing. The fact that it's a private event doesn't mean anything in this regard. All it means is I might be restricted in how I use the photos I've taken, but they still remain my property. Let's say someone had their camera (slr, p&s, doesn't matter) out there taking a few pics in between sessions and happen to get catch a pretty decent shot. Cool right? Guess what happens if STT finds that photo and tries to use it on their site or on material without permission because they think they own it? They can end up on the bad side of a copyright violation law suit. Since it's a private event they can say you can't shoot or to stop shooting, but the photos don't become their property. It doesn't work like that. It only limits how those photos can be used.
  3. That's pretty friggin' awesome.
  4. They might be able to ask someone to stop shooting or leave but they can't take ownership of any photo's taken. Transfer of copyright even under work for hire agreements has to be a specific written agreement with a photographer.
  5. Because dSLR's are cheap and everyone wants to be a photographer. Even worse is the number of them that actually believe they are good enough to charge. Photography has become 80% marketing, 18% gear, and 2% skill. People don't give a shit about quality anymore as long as it's cheap/free and good enough.
  6. *insert obvious 'at least he's getting pussy' joke*
  7. Glass matters too; sharpness, clarity, IQ, AF speed. Can also make a difference for shutter speeds especially if you're talking an overcast day at the track. You don't have a single action shot in your portfolio.
  8. I'm not sure how it's much more portable than a netbook. A netbook is pretty damn small and weighs about 2.5lbs. Saying fewer features is an understatement to say the least and netbooks cost the same or less as the entry level iPad. Archos makes a much better Android based product. I'm just waiting for them to make a larger one.
  9. I'm just saying I've NEVER seen a glitch exploited that provided unlimited air support and sentries. I would be one of the first people bitching because that shit pissed me off. If the glitch is that bad I should be seeing at least some. Either that or I've been unusually lucky. I asked my brother and he said he hasn't experienced it either. If it's that bad you would think it would be more noticeable.
  10. I've seen something similar but it has never lasted for what I would consider an usually, extended amount of time and certainly haven't gotten an "ass raping" in the process. Unless of course you're saying that even considering I probably game way more than the average person I'm just not aware enough to recognize a glitch that apparently happens over and over and over and is apparently so bad to make someone not want to play anymore until it's fixed. They may be fixing a glitch but it's obviously not as bad as people make it out. The biggest thing I've noticed playing MW2 online is the number of whiners.
  11. If I have to look for the glitch it's not much of one. You complained about stuff all over the place, over and over and over. I would think that would be pretty obvious.
  12. I've been playing a TON the past month and haven't seen anything remotely close to what you describe.
  13. You mean between all federal employees and the people, not just Sens/Reps.
  14. Yeah don't see that playing on the PS3. Occasionally there will be a string of things that become a temporary annoyance, but it's never overwhelming.
  15. Bwahahaha always entertaining. The funniest part of all though is the framing of the obviously staged audience in the background for the Republican response. I think they got them all in there: white guy, asian guy, blonde, black lady, ...
  16. I'm happy with it being about as big as your standard organizer I think.
  17. Yeah I'm thinking for photo uses though and I forgot to add larger screen as well and maybe in 16:9 format although 4:3 is OK if the screen is larger.
  18. If they had increased the storage, boosted the resolution, included a camera and added a card slot I would have been right in line for one.
