Queen size mattress ONLY (no box spring). About 5 years old. Inherited when daughter moved back in and her room is not large enough for this. Seems to be good condition, no stains or tears. In Hilliard, near St. Brendan Church (Dublin and Davidson roads). Preference given to those who can pick up ASAP. PM or email me.

I have a battery in my garage that I have had for a year and a half now. It was 1 month old, and then the car it was in was totalled in Aug 2006. It is a Werker brand, Group 85 (I think), part number 58ULT with posts on top. It has been on a battery tender pretty much since it came out of the car, so it should still be just fine. It's just taking up space in my garage. Somebody come and get it. PM or email me. I'm in Hilliard very near St. Brendan Church. Rich

Assuming your goal is primarily a DD with occasional sporting events (autocross, drag), I would go with the Civic. Much easier to live with day to day, better resale, and just a higher quality piece all around. The other two cars are both good cars, but when it comes to a car to live with for a long time, the SI would be the best. Having said that, if you are just going to keep it for a couple years and are going to thrash on it racing and such, try out the Cobalt. Just be ready to take a bath financially.

We all have opinions. Why do you ask? Are you considering buying one? Are you doing a poll? Did you have trouble sleeping and think this post would help? I'm not trying to be a smart ass (although at times it comes natural), but you asked a yes or no question. What are you really looking to find out? Rich

I ride an old CB750, no fairing. I wear a Joe Rocket jacket with liner, and a hoodie, along with insulated riding pants. On the noggin, I have a full face helmet with a balaclava. On the hands, gloves with thinsulate and separate liners. Good to about 40 degrees. Much less than that I can't go for more than 30 minutes unless I keep the speed really low. From what I have read, to do true winter / cold weather riding, you really need a bike with a large fairing, heated grips, and electrically heated gear.

In particular, be careful in the wee hours of the morning, from 2a to 5a or so. They sit there and wait for speeders...who may also be coming home from bars or whatnot.

Chris, I am not sure about other local clubs and what they offer. I do know: - The local Porsche club usually has a school - Mid Ohio SCC may have a school - The Miami Valley Sports Car Club (Dayton) probably has one (http://66.116.162.213/) - Probably some of the other marque clubs. Rich

If you are in a hurry to sell, try posting on craigslist. Cheap transportation sells quick there.

Barrett-Jackson is as much of an "event" as it is an auction. People that are players in higher end collector cars want to be seen there as it affirms their position in the collector car world. With high wealth individuals, it is another forum or stage on which they compete with each other. To many of them its more about personal ego and winning, and not so much about the cars. Hence, prices there are among the highest at any auction. We find ways to entertain ourselves and this happens to be a way that high wealth individuals enterain themselves. I don't begrudge anyone for having money and spending it, although to an earlier point the prices at Barrett Jackson tend to distort the rest of the market that most of us play in. Every guy with a '60's muscle car thinks it's worth at least 10 grand even if it's a basket case. I am also tired of Speed showing "motoring lifestyle" types of shows rather than the racing it used to. Kind of like when MTV used to play music videos most of the time. But, whatever it takes to pay the bills, I suppose.

Just PM'd you. Come get'm.

I have five (5) front brake rotors for the 1983 - 1985 RX7 12a (S, GS, and GSL models). These were spares from my race car years ago, and have been sitting around my garage. Tow or three of the rotors have the wheel bearings in them. Some look good enough to bolt on as is, others need to be resurfaced. I don't know the thickness of the rotors. FREE - pick up in the next week otherwise they will go in the trash. Must take all of them. PM or email me. Rich Hilliard, OH
