  1. 2006 Hayabusa. Clean title, no accidents, never been down (besides being knocked over at a bike night-lucky it fell on another bike:rofl:) This IMO is about the perfect set up fro a fun street bike.

Trac Dynamic 4 over Arm, 16/42T Sprockets @ 7300 miles

-bike has about 12.9 on the odometer now, so figure maybe 11XXX actual.

    Brock's SS Street Smart Exhaust

Most have seen it-or have seen the videos of it in Action. It runs about as fast as a stock engine bike can roll. Has no issue rolling on s1000r's, ZX14's and New Busas. Rear tire has one season-Front is brand new

  3. The website I got this from is here: (it has other laws we may be interested in like exhaust)

    (e) No person shall operate any motor vehicle which produces a sound or noise in excess of ninety-five decibels as measured not less than five feet from the source of such sound or noise. term "decibel" means a unit for measurement of relative sound levels as indicated by a sound level meter having those properties essential for the purpose of administration and enforcement of this section of a nature defined by the current American Standard Association Specification (Z 24.3-1944).

Does this mean they need a meter to give you a ticket??

  4. Unless a judge was giving me outrageous scores in other areas because he's playing favorites, I should never get the win.

In which case, there would be a lot of very un-happy people in the stands because the judging is obviously rigged or unfair.

100% Bullshit, according to the rules.

No actual mentions of using "times" for scoring-the closest thing you get is entry speed, but only as a tie breaker. :dumb:

    Scoring and judging

Formula D uses a different scoring system than D1GP. In D1, points are given to drivers who compete in the tsuiso (twin run) round, known as Tandem Battle in Formula D; 20 for the winner going down to 2 for the 10th place finisher as well as 1 point for the rest of the drivers who competed in the tsuiou round.

In D1, drivers are given three runs during a tansou (solo run) round, in Formula D as Qualifying Single Runs and only the best of them will count which at the end of that round, drivers who score the perfect 100 points will be awarded one extra point to add to their championship score. In Formula D, competitors are given two non-consecutive judged runs during the Single Runs segment of the competition which both will be judged. Starting orders will consists of drivers from the lowest rank starting first with those of the highest rank starting last whereas in D1, it is the other way round as it is seen that lower ranked drivers can take advantage of the surface grip when they start last.[2]

Formula D drivers are scored on a points-deduction system where every driver will start their judged run with a perfect score of 100 pts. For every mistake, points will be deducted. These points will vary between .25 point to the most severe mistakes (-1.75).[2]

When there is a tie in scores during a competition, rather than in D1 which will call for a rerun until the winner can be decided, in Formula D, judges will use the driver’s entry speed of the best run from the Qualifying Round as a tie breaker.[2]

In D1GP, during a tsuiso round, if a driver wins his round but is unable to take his place due to breakages, they must forfeit their place to the losing opponent. If neither is able to compete, the winning driver gets his place and as a result, that following round will not take place. In Formula D, should the driver be without an opponent, they will be allowed to run on his own.

The current judges are Andy Yen, Ryan Lanteigne, and Brian Eggert. Randy Hembrey is the Race Director for the series.[2]

    Its fucking figure skating.

  5. I would give you that... but... F1 cars do what they do AND have to meet a standard of reliability as well. They will take penalties if they crack open the engine or transmission. They're only allowed to use 8 engines for the entire racing season and each gearbox has to last through 5 *consecutive* races.

    .

    Bingo-

Top Fuel would take the cake if they could achieve even one race's worth of reliability.

  6. I'd politely disagree with the above statement.

Rates are still amazing historically; we have simply been spoiled over the past 2.5 years with all time low interest rates. Keep in mind 3 years ago prime was 5%+.

    http://www.freddiemac.com/pmms/pmms30.htm

As the .gov keeps trying to push treasury bonds on the market and they do not get the response they expect, we will continue to see rates rise.

http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/mortgage-rates-aren-t-going-back-down-fannie-174009047.html?vp=1 (Not the best article...but you get the point)

To be honest, I will not be surprised when we are back around 4.5-5% this time next year if not sooner. As consumer confidence increases and we push further into a purchase market we will see rates increase. It is actually a good thing and shows that our economy is strengthening.

It is also a good thing for (some) mortgage originators as higher rates will weed out a lot of mortgage hacks. I’m looking forward to being busier than ever

PS – I’m still below 4% for fixed 30yr terms and below 3% for fixed 15yr terms with next to no cost. Refi and purchase business welcome.

I was speaking in comparison to two months ago. I think we will see the 10 year Bond back in the 1.9's again in the next 45 days before things really go south.

  7. Quicken is fast, but you can always get a better deal elsewhere.

I have also been an LO for a while now, and helped a few on CR. I am not a site sponsor though, so I do not advertise. Rates are SHIT right now, though. May be better than where you are now, but I would give it a month or 2 before you lock an interest rate.

  8. So is it Shepherd vs. Switzer up in Wakeman or are they working together to make these crazy cars? If it's the latter, that's a lot of rivalry to be contained within 68 miles.

What ever happened to Buschur? Did he just give up?

Everyone is on the Same Team there. Shep just build his junk for fun, but if you want a full build he will tell you to call Tym.

Its Tym vs AMS vs T1 vs ????

And Everyone uses Shep's Trans, so he just watched the money roll in. You guys would shit if you knew what Shep's profit margin was on this junk :fuckyeah:

  9. I had to watch but to laugh they were claiming "fastest cars in the state and maybe the country" they need to make a trip to Texas next year. I also can't stand this street racing using car off a trailer street racing should be street cars not trailer queens.

I dont think any of the roll race cars at Texas have a snow balls chance against Murder Nova from a Dig.

And as stated, no one said they were street cars, they are just street racing. :fuckyeah:

  11. Its not the prep, Its takes a working car.

To those that are saying its all staged and fake..It is not. These guys are 100% real. Best group of street racers out there. What most people dont know it the local police are willing to work with it more then most city's. Many times the city has shut down a street for them to race on and have like a little town get together.

I dont know about the "antics" but the cars abd people are 100% legit street racers. Farm Truck and Murder Nova have been around for a long, long time. You would have to have been living under a rock to have not seen them doing work somehere on youtube.

  12. Drove home without an issue-kind of....

The car ran flawlessly. The more I am in it, the more I see the additions to make it a great road course car. You can thumb select to monitor individual tire pressure, Oil temp, oil pressure level, Coolant, Trans Temp, even a G meter with memory! I was having fun watching how Temp affected tire and oil pressure-gay I know.

Also, I officially love torque. There, I said it! I may have to build an LS something sooner than expected. I was offered a race in NC by a 98-99 Civic Si-exhaust and intake (from what I could hear) from 70, I left it in 5th and beat him USING CRUSE CONTROL. I cant even make this up!

The issue-well one-we left in a tropical storm. Since we were on the island-I was forced to go though repeated Sandblasting from Sand coming off the dunes. One way on, one way off. I cant even describe it-50+mph sustained winds-add Sand-yup-right to the face. Driving into it, repeatedly, knowing there was nothing I could do about it. There was even sand IN my hood, yes, sounds like a sand toy when I open it-and everywhere in the engine bay when I got home! It sucks and there are a lot in new chips from it.

The Bad-Got caught just behind a truck that had a tire explosion-in a construction zone. I was against the concrete barrier, with a another truck next to me, and a car behind me. I was fucked. I was hit directly with huge tire shrapnel. I pulled over to check for fluid leaks, I was sure something was ripped off the car with the sound of the impact.

Large scrape now in lower front bumper, the lower side ground effects, and it ripped off the lower front under tray (which on the V has a front spoiler that is not gone.) I am not happy, but it could have been much and is hard to see unless your looking for it-but since I have hard the car a week, its all I am looking at at the moment!

Pics to come. Overall, still very content even with the mishap.
