Around 4400. Finishing the tune may help this a little, but it works well with a 7500rpm redline.

So stock and E85?? HAHAHA!!!!! Cobb is the way to go, Chad has a front mount kit for our cars.
I didnt know that! maybe I will put one on.
As an update- this thing freaking flyes. I love the car, and it has been a dream to drive so far. Updated I Drive is easy to use too.
Linn if you have cobb-just go straight to the race map. If you loook at the maps-you can use it will all stock parts. The intercooler just wont keep up-so it will start to pull timing hard on back to back pulls. I put 3 cars on a WRX that went Mid 12's @109 that same day. Video to come...
Also got super lucky and scored a set of CLS staggered 19s for super cheap on C list. Just needs front tires

And if I didnt snow so much up here-I would have just waited for a V. You can find them with around 100k miles in the mid 20's. No better bang for the buck!
That being said I have a 535 X Drive and a freaking love it. $200 and a few clicks-and its fast enough to make me happy. Put 3 cars from 40 on a Subaru that just ran 12.6@109 that same day

I ran into the same problem up here in Avon. Its the best school district West of Cleveland and a boomtown right now. Every yuppy or 30 somthing with money wants to live there.
If you do it right, you can build for less than you can buy (the only time you should build IMO) I am building with K Hovnanian, and will come in around $25 less a sq/ft than market sales prices for similar houses.

LOL..."Closed Course"....*bridge* *road sign* *road sign*
My associate handled everything. I dont ask questions!

Hard to say to be honest. Completley different set up. Smaller motor, bigger cam, single vs. twins. I will say the 5.7 with stock cam was MUCH easier to putz around. We will see how she does with some more fuel and the Jam knob turned up.
-
She runs good. Here is a video of a 30-150 pull on gate (15psi). Dont pay attentiong to my POS tack- it lags as much as 1500 rpm up top! Need more fuel to have more fun. Still needs a lot of finishing work, but the turbo works well. Not as lazy as I would expect with a 5.3 and big cam. More to come

Do these have the DOT stamp on them? I know they arent for street use but was looking for a class that requires a DOT tire.
Yes

Also a few people asked for an idle vid. Here it is. I am sorry but I literally know nothing about the cam. It was trash picked form a local shop

Well, I still have two bosch 044 pumps.

If interested and still have the 275/60/15 tires we could do some trading.
PM me I'd consider it

To address the overboost issue, I originally was going to re-work my gate entry-but I said F it and picked up another 450 Chinagate and added it with great gate priority off the up pipe.

With 15psi of spring, she now holds 15psi on gate . Took it for a test rip, and YIKES, much better than I expected after the dyno! Even with the 5.3 and big cam, its not much laggier than the twins set up-and rips pretty hard for 15psi. It may be hard to compare since my daily is 4XXwhp and auto and this is the first tie she has seen full pulls this year, but she feels as stong if not stonger than last years set up. Big differnce up top as well-you can feel the Cam carry the power well.
Still need to add pump and, address the old plugs, and wrap the DP in the bay, and its back to the dyno.
On a side note-opening my dump picked up 180 whp on the dyno! I am sure some of this was due to increased boost, but I have to impove the regular exhaust flow. I knew my cheated angle would be a restircion, bit lord I didnt know it would be that bad! Watch your angles people!

Curious-
Why this over a similar Chevy?
-
I'll race you if it has a MAN pedal

Must be 300lph or better, in take preferred. You will be low balled!
LMK what you got

Where did this dude get his money again? Son of some oil tycoon right?
Car was WORKING for sure.
-
I know you do all this on a budget or with Budget (Cheap ass) Parts. What are you using for WG and BOV Stuff....Im just curious.
These have been the best in terms of finish, and reliability. Also based off the MVS platform, its compact works great in tight spaces
And the tial copies
My no fly zone is fakes with the brand they are copying on them, and I always try to buy from an American distributor. I dont want to be a part of true "fake" market saturation.

Linky no work?

IC pipes figured out-all from various pieces of scraps. Once section is even from a old Isuzu truck that has 3 inch SS exhaust that we took from the scrap yard trip back in 2005 with a good friend that is no longer with us. Fun thing about doing it sloppy is reusing parts from old builds brings back great memories. This car needs as much good Karma as it can get

I will weld this stuff up next time I have access to a TIG. Last is the exhaust-and we are ready for testing and tuning!

I approve of all of this!

V
A6
Make sure you get Recaros and a roof. Very toss-able-feels lighter than the Camaro.
I was in the same boat-V wins for a DD. In the hands of a savage the Vette quickly turns from DD, to toy, to fucking racecar.

Best radial I have run for sure.
I'd love to run it, but there is no real way I can get it under a stock fender
-
4 motors later, you would think he would pull a degree or 2 out of it. LOL
-
Fastest radial money can buy 275/60/15. Would use, but they don't quite fit.
$250 for the pair. Have 4 passes total on the tires. 1.5 years old

Thanks guys
