I am hoping to go riding, soon. The wife goes to her surgeon on Friday the 28th for her first post surgery appointment. Hoping to go riding Saturday, 9/29. Anybody interested in riding then?

Installed a set of Grip Buddies. They are like grip puppies but are made of neoprene instead of foam.

Thank you! I am doing my best. She is getting better. Less pain everyday. We are both tired of being stuck in the house! LOL

RANT! Relatives suck! My wife has been home for 9 days. She is slowly getting better. PT has been here 3 times. I am pissed that my mom and her mom have not called one fucking time to check on her! Really, do they not realize how serious this surgery was and how great the risk of a blood clot was! My wife’s oldest daughter hasn’t called either! We are always there for these relatives and do more for them than anybody else! I am thinking that will be changing. Ok, I am done.

Thanks for everyone’s support and encouragement! The wife is an RN and she knows all about counting her pills. The Vicodin does take care of the pain and I have to go pickup a prescription for more today. As for the PT, she was ahead of the curve when they evaluated her at the hospital before she came home. A couple of more weeks and she should be good! You definitely learn who cares about you when you go through something like this.

I have done a track day and it was a blast. But I just love street riding. Been riding since I was 13, almost 59 now. The FJR is almost the prefect street machine, to me.

Koala I understand. These companies should not be allowed to pay their employees such low wages while they make big profits!

Nobody said that you couldn’t post your jobs. We are saying that $10/ hour is not a living wage! It doesn’t matter that the pay is in line with other cleaning jobs. I bet you don’t make that much an hour!

The Vicodin is working. The pain is already better than it was.

And the wife’s dad just died! It had been coming for a while. Cancer from smoking!

My wife had total knee replacement Friday morning. It went well. I was hoping that her pain wouldn’t be too bad. Wrong! To me there is nothing worse than seeing someone you love in pain! FUCK!!! The doctor wanted to give OxyContin for the pain, she had him give her Vicodin instead. It works, but every 4 hours she is in extreme pain. I was supposed to start a pretty good seasonal job tomorrow, not going to be able to! I am the only one that can take care of her. FUCK!!! Okay I am done.

When I bought my 2009 FJR from them 4 years ago they wanted $9500 for it. They wouldn’t come down but gave me $5500 for my Busa.

My birthday is October 8. Someone should buy me this used 2016 FJR ES with 5485 miles that Iron Pony has.

I got a new T30 GT rear tire at IP. They are on close out for $105. I got out the door for $146. Also picked up a A-stars summer base layer tank top for $5.

My wife is looking to hire STNAs in Lexington Ohio. $1000 sign on bonus and starting at $12 an hour..

I ended up running the BRP as far south as the Little Switzerland area. Rode part of 226, too much traffic, got some lunch and headed back north. My back tire is getting near the end of it’s life and didn’t want to chance it. Ran up the BRP to N.C. 221. I forgot what an awesome road it is from the BRP north to Blowing Rock. 15 to 20 miles of nice tight predictable corners! Followed 221 to 16. Ran the Back of the Dragon and I am in Princeton WV for the night. Got a new sticker and t-shirt.

At the Knights Inn in Galax. I am about 10 minutes from the BRP. Going down the BRP tomorrow to the Gap area.

Left the house at 10. The first stop was 150 miles from there in Marietta. On 77, 80 miles from Galax.
