I have been trying to use up my front tire, it has at least a 1000 miles left. Going to go get a new tire at IP tomorrow and just keep the old one. Leaving on the 19th!

Definitely more protection than stock. $100 for a Cox radiator guard.

I made a radiator guard for my FJR. Cost me around $3, a section of metal gutter guard and 12 small zip ties.

I am sitting in Belpre. I just rode the whole 64 miles of 555. The whole thing was pretty dirty with gravel in most of the right hand corners. The pavement is in good shape down to 78, from there to the last 15 miles it is rough and torn up.

I should hate it, I have wrecked on it 3 times and the Busa blew its electrical system on it. Lol

555 is a very polarizing road, people either love it or hate it.

669 to 668 is one of my regular routes. That rough road part is bad. I rode that part earlier this year.

It’s time. I usually ride 555 from Zanesville to it’s end a few times a year. I haven’t done this yet, this year, going tomorrow.

I always used the wet rag or towel. A good leather cleaner/ conditioner usually worked too.

A route has been planned. Roamr, me and a younger guy that bought his old SV are leaving Tuesday morning. Planning on slabbing it down and staying around the Galax, VA area Tuesday night. Going to ride down the Blue Ridge Wednesday and will be in Townsend Wednesday night.

I should be good on the back tire, 3000 to 3500 left on it. My front has 6000 on it, need to finish it and get a new one before the rally.

We’ve never tried City. Millstone is okay, last time we there the beef was dry and cold.
