I've saved myself from a collision several times without it being a "close call" but this is the first time I didn't have any "good" way out. There were a lot of factors in the situation and I'm still trying to run it through my head how I could have better handled it.

I still think I got out the best way possible.

I thought about it, except for the cars coming through the intersection. Then I would have hit the side of a car and been sited for it. I didn't have too many options. I thought about running it though.

I don't know if running the red light is the answer...like you said, at a minimum you would have hit the side of a car. You just as easily could have been run over by a semi.

Those things happen way to fast to decide on a msg board what you should or shouldn't do. I think jumping off the bike would have been my choice. When I got hit, I never saw it coming..so the choice was made for me.

+1 on the SEC, starting to hate them more than mich. they definitely beat us more than michigan does.

You know how you beat the SEC? Stay away from the traditional Big Ten/Midwest athlete (at all positions). Spread the offense out. Your athletes don't have to be the best, just athletic. Get away from the same old 'ground and pound' Big Ten offense.

My favorite is hearing Michigan fans saying OSU isn't their rival. Well, looks like they were right. Maybe BGSU will be their rival. Then they could win.

Who said OSU isn't our rival?? You made that one up man...I hate OSU..and so does all of Michigan, but it's a friendly rival 'hate'. Not one UM fan that I have known in my 30+ years on this earth has ever said that OSU wasn't our biggest rival.

Let's get one thing clear...these things are cyclical. When I moved to Ohio 10 years ago, UM was kicking the snot out of OSU. We still own the series record. Tressel was the best thing to happen to OSU...I even said when his hiring was announced that UM was in trouble (I never was a Carr fan).

OSU has UM's #, but it's not going to last forever. Enjoy it while you can..the only reason most OSU fans seems to go overboard is because you guys aren't used to actually beating us on a consistent basis. Enjoy!! I actually prefer that you guys get some success...because when we come for dat ass it will be all that much sweeter. None of these games has been a blow out. Even with a hobbled QB and running back we kept the score close. These two teams are seperated only by play calling and coaching. Carr is your version of Cooper. I'm sure you're sorry to see him go. Guess you have never been through this process before I got paid for my bike promptly, but not enough, and the rest of the money took almost two years....

I just went through this and settled about 4 or 5 months ago.

Bike had about 8-9K of damage. it probably should have been totaled..but not all the damage was caught during the first inspection. I'm thankful for that.

i was ejected from the bike..hit the ground head first. Concusion, cracked ribs, really bad contusion, pinched nerve between C5 and C6 vertebrae. That pinched nerve is going to be with me for the rest of my life..I can already tell. I am active in brazilian jiu jitsu and muay thai, so I do a lot of grappling...and this shit is gonna hurt for life. Sprained ankles..sore hips. I was lucky. Anyways...

the driver was a Safe Auto driver..god help anyone if they have to deal with Safe Auto. I got my bike fixed (better than stock)...and I got $8K after lawyers fees.

Yes and no. The reason he didn't declare with everyone else was because of basketball. He's an MVP in that as well. He honestly didn't have the time to investigate the schools trying to recruit him. You have to remember, he was the star player on the football team which won the state championship, and also the star player on the basketball team which won the state championship. I agree, he could easily turn into another Clarrett, but I personally and being open minded about it. This guy could be the savior we've been waiting for.

You fighting currently anywhere?

I had to take a few years off because of a motorcycle accident, but I just got back into training on a consistent basis. I think I am going to shoot for an early summer time frame for a fight. The guys I train with at Rising Dragon are constantly fighting...two fought last Saturday and another fights in Akron this Saturday.

Last time I fought there was like 03. It's a good time..definitely a freak show in some respects too. Always a good time. AND UFC was in town, so you can't beat that weekend as far as something to do in the winter. Now that they have MMA, I might go down next year.

I am getting SOOOO much more HD at a cheaper price with DTV...I don't know why I didn't switch sooner. DTV's DVR blows that explorer POS out of the water. In EVERY way. I kick myself for letting TW nickel and dime me to death all these years.

Tomorrow is bad..i've got to try and get the kids out for some sledding, plus I see many hours of digging myself out of my own driveway. Any day this week should work , except the weekends..every weekend in march has me out of town.
