  1. My bad...My net access was down all weekend..and is still down until this weekend. Plus I got a new phone and I think I lost a few #'s that weren't synced properly. Now I have to wait until I get to work to get online. Anyways, i didn't do any riding at all this weekend (except back and forth to the gym because I am broke like I don't know what! I need to save for a vegas trip next week...so I'm staying close to home.

  2. *BUMP* This bike is worth $3500+, and I am letting it go for much less. I need to get rid of it!

    95 FZR 1000

    -Custom yellow paint

    -Jetted

    -Approx 26K miles.

    -Comes with service manual

-Brand new chain- Approx 300 miles

-New spark plugs, O rings,Fuel c*ck assembly, fuel tank cleaned, carbs cleaned, needle valve set, oil and filter. This was all done around 1000 miles ago

This bike runs GREAT. I have another bike, and I'm looking for a 600 as a track bike...so she's gotta go. I get a lot of looks when I ride it...it's a great bike and I really don't want to let her go..but I don't have room for 3 bikes. Please do not ask me for any trades. I am selling this bike for cash. It's a great deal on a great bike. Call me @ 440-714-3243. Email is fine too.

  3. If the high spot is in the center...that would be a center of under inflation, no?!? Since a tire with too much air pressure would tend to make less contact with the sides.

I didn't look at the pic..but if the sides are scalloped then maybe we are looking at another issue in addition to air pressure.

  4. State Farm valued the bike at $6057.73 (including tax and title). The repair estimate was 6400. I do have to say, the repair quote was kinda BS. I mean, $879 to replace the stock muffler? come on!

$900 for a muffler is not unheard of. My mufflers cost $900 each. I took that money and got a full Muzzy M10 system, with Power Commander and TRE. Why both with putting the stock back on?!!?!?

Good luck with the new ride. I know a dealer near me selling an 07 Busa..brand new..for $9200. $3000 more buys you 1300CC's!

  5. Not compensating for anything....just a lil' fun on the forum. Did you happen to go to the Lube last night? I didn't get up there, too busy with yard work and getting things ready for the opening day of hunting on tomorrow.

It's all good man..I was just having some fun too. I never take anything personal.

No, I didn't make it to QSL. I had a lot of stuff going on at home as well...packing my bags for a trip to MI today...cleaning up...etc. As much as love riding, I had to stay off the bike most of the week to get stuff done.

  6. You're right Inya...we are robots. We have one program to run and that's to hand out ass whoopings to anyone that wants them.

Don't you have some keys to go find or something? :D:thefinger:

Just messin...you're right it's all good (and that applies to everyone).

Ouch! Go fix that dent!!!!! Craptastic Gixxer..comes standard from the factory with dents!!!

  7. :sheepfucker:

Your English teacher should be shot...

That being said; the point of this site is to meet other riders, not to claim you have bigger balls than someone else. Don't beat around the bush man. If you want to call someone out, fucking do it. Then if that person chooses to accept, you all go have a "who has the bigger balls" contest by yourselves. Don't organize a group ride, then plan on pushing your limits and trying to get other riders to push their limits just to prove who is a better rider. That's how accidents happen.

Now that I got that out of my system, if this is going to be a ride open to everyone and fun is encouraged, I'll be there. If this is going to be a nut-swinging convention, count me out.

    +1

If I was going to be in town, I would've made the trip..until I saw it was just about getting someone's rocks sucked off. I'm all about having fun..and I like the twisties and speed! but what fun is it if half of the group gets left behind and the other half is runnin from the cops?

    Count me out.

  8. The government owns the roads we ride on. You can drive up and down your driveway all you want without a helmet....

I am not a proponent for government telling us what to do at every step, but it's the same as you not being able to drive without a seatbelt. If you get caught, you get a ticket. Whether you believe you have a right not to wear one, you WILL wear one or you WILL get a ticket. It's the law..point blank..no room for discussion. If you come over my house, you will obide by my rules or you will leave. I don't care if you think you have a right to carry that gun you brought in...you won't bring it into my house. And as much as you like to think we are entirely free in this country, there are rules that we all (for the most part) have to abide by. Whether you think you deserve to go lid-free, if the gov says wear the helmet, you have two choices. Do, or don't and face the consequences.

Choose not to wear a helmet...that's fine. I REALLY hope you enjoy it (not being sarcastic). And I truly hope the laws don't change because I enjoy freedom to choose as much as everyone else. I also enjoy the look of my grill and the satisfaction I get when I jump on two wheels that I am doing almost everything I can to make it back in one piece.

  9. Now that really sucks. Like I told you, I only take along what I need. Leave that other stuff at the house.

Loosing a house key - $40 (new key and locksmith if necc.)

Loosing all your keys, RSA fob, remote, etc. - $300

I hope you learned your lesson here son.

    Yes daddy.

  10. Don't sweat it. After $300, I have a new set of car keys. Long story...had to buy the keys (Cadillac)..pay for the programming...and pay for the flat bed tow from my house. I was NOT a happy camper.
