I'll be there. It's only a 2 hour ride for me though

I'll keep this short because I'm no pro...shoes are number one. Insoles are second. I have a decent pair of shoes with good insoles. I've been running 6 miles in 54 min as of late. I use a heart rate monitor and try to stay around 75% of my max heart rate. It's a nice easy run without any pain and I enjoy it. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

+1. They have the contour shape for back sleepers and a more pillow like shape for side sleepers. I have one of each, been using them for years. Won't have anything else. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

The wave while riding... HD riders - take a peek!
dustinsn3485 replied to Moto-Brian's topic in Daily Ride
I've pretty much quit waving. Been riding almost 10 years and never have understood the wave. I'll nod or raise a finger or two on the handlebar occasionally, but that's about all you'll get from me. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2 -
Just pay it and go on. I got one on the Cherohala back in June. I was running about 95 in a 45. Cop wrote it for 60. They just want the money and saving you the time of traveling back to court. Go down, have fun, and if you get caught pay your dues. Speeding tickets pay for the emergency services down there, just chalk it up as your donation to the county ambulance budget. I seem to do a lot of riding, but never take any pictures. Furthermore, I generally never talk about my rides to very many people. I'll share this ride and couple pictures to go with it... This weekend took me to South Central Missouri, what you may consider the Northern most Ozarks. I'm in awe of all of the roads in that area, and so close to St. Louis. This was my maiden ride on a new to me 2011 Ninja 1000 and let me say that I am in love. A review of that bike needs its own thread at some point in time. Anyway, my father has a Kawasaki C14 and is a member of the Concourse Owners Group. I seem to tag along to a lot of their rally's and this was just another one that was really a great time. We stayed outside of Steelville, MO at the Huzzah Valley campgrounds. There were multiple options for accommodations, tents, cabins, a mini-hotel, hostels. Now on the the roads, they really were amazing. Rt. 19 is a road. MO has some interesting road marks and many are letters, it seems like many of the lettered roads were quite spectacular. Because of my new bike purchase on Thursday morning, we lost a day of riding and didn't get to ride as many roads as we wanted, but the roads we did get to ride were just awesome. Over-all I put 1078 miles on the new bike From Thurs at 2p-Sun 5p. Mine and my fathers bike The bikes and our lodging Riding home today, where we crossed the mighty Mississippi. Chester, IL

I don't have a C14, and not quite ready to have a bike with that set-up yet. However I agree with all he said, bike is amazing. Are you a member of COG? Are you going to be at the spider ride this weekend?

To expand on this a bit, a really good fitting pair of shoes is a start. A good pair of insoles makes a great shoe amazing. I had to go with a cheaper shoe most recently, new balance, but I use good feet insoles. They make all the difference in body alignment. A pro is a great way to get good shoes and they should be recommending insoles too. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I've started running again about 3 weeks ago. I have been doing 4-6 miles with a 10 minute/mile pace. Goal is 10 miles at a 10 min pace by Oct. 1. Been slacking this week pretty badly. I try to run at least 4 times a week, but prefer 5-6. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Seemingly progressively worse front wheel wobble
dustinsn3485 replied to magley64's topic in Tech and Tips
I think the tires are likely to blame, look for signs of cupping or odd wear. 6k on the Avons is decent life and as mentioned, they're on the downhill side. On your Pirelli note, I loved the strada's. I don't care for the Angel ST. Tire itself is good, but life sucks, I was over 10k on my last set of stradas, didn't even get 6k out of the Angels. Pirelli, in an effort to make a sport touring tire more sporty, has lost me as a customer. I expect 7-8k minimum from a sport touring tire. -

Don't argue with idiots, someone walking by won't know who the idiot is... The "other side" knows when to stop... Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Haha, screw the dems. It's the riches money, they don't owe anyone anything.

A speedboat manufacturer. Also, how do you know this was a speed contest...Any normal sponsored event, all passengers would be required to wear life jackets. Finally, he completely failed at managing that wake. Definitely chose the wrong approach angle.

Ignore the haters. I did yellow on yellow with my bike and there's plenty here that say it looks good. You can see pics on my profile page, somehow. I was on a ride last weekend and got comments on my wheels and bike then too. I had a place in piqua pc my wheels... WWW.afipowder.com Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

That was our family business for 50+ years, founded by my great grandfather and passed down through the generations. It was a real shame that we had to sell to DRT. We would still own it, if it weren't for some family disputes...Oh well. How are things there? I don't know how many of the guys are still there from 2006 when they moved down to DRT from our location in Tipp City, but I knew most of them well enough. How'd you find out it was my families business?

Understandable question. My father actually bought it, I got one for netflix, hulu, blu-ray, etc and he thought that was pretty cool so he wanted one. I don't play games much, but on occasion. He bought it and has never hooked it up. So the other day I was asking him what he was gonna do with it and he asked me to get rid of it for him. This was my first stop because it's by far the easiest. I don't feel like dealing with craigslist or ebay, but if there's no interest on here then that's where I'll go next.

Would anyone be interested in a brand new PS3 bundle? I don't think the seal on the box has even been broken, but I'm not sure. It's never been out of the box still in the plastic. 160GB PS3 with 2 controllers. Comes with 2 games...Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and Little Big Planet 2 Special Edition. It was one of the bundle packages for Christmas last year and I believe I ended up paying $350 for it. Current prices at bestbuy.com PS3 new is 249.99 2nd controller is $40 R&C all 4 one is $20 LBP2 SE is $20 Price starts at $300, make me an offer. I'll be in Ohio next weekend so I could meet up with anyone near Dayton north, or I'll be heading back home on Sunday and could easily meet someone anywhere on I75 between Troy and I71 split in Kentucky.
