Since you asked...I've said for years, that I'll never sell it. Hence why Brad (xtremef4i) made his comment.. This bike and I started life after a purchase from cattmouch back in 2005. The three of us went to HS together, blah blah blah...I moved to Phoenix, AZ to go to MMI. I spent a night in a La Quinta in Amarillo, TX. That night My K1500 was broken into and this bike was stolen from the bed of the truck. Sparing all the details, I got the bike back 3 months later. It was in good condition, minus a back tire that was flat spotted and a left side stator cover that was scuffed along with the left side lower fairing. It appears to me that whoever stole it did burnouts and stupid stuff then found someone to buy it. So I guess it's been down, but really don't know any details. I bought the bike with seems like 700 miles, rode it for a bit, then it got stolen, I got it back with about 1800 miles and I forget how many of those were mine. Anyway, It came to class with me while I was in school at MMI and a couple of the kawasaki instructors all gathered up and we went through the whole bike to verify there was no damage. So the previous 26,000 miles I can solidly say it's never been down. But the reason for the paint is because of the left side fairing being scuffed. And well because I really like the color too. And that's the extremely short story...

I hate to, we've been through a lot. It just sits in the corner now that I've got this new monster though. Realistically, I'm not gonna ride her anymore, someone else should and I could use the money. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Lol well there's that problem too. This is Gods country for riding...I'm still weighing my options. I chased a girl down here years ago, as you know. The roads were a bonus. The girl is gone so now I've got to make a career choice and stick with it for awhile. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

That sucks :/ Hope it all ends well...I'll have a shot for ya. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I'll jump on the state farm bandwagon...I've had it and its almost the least expensive I can find and carries a solid reputation as well. However, they are still rediculously high in my motorcycle... Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I've used Keel Brothers a couple times, pretty good prices from them... http://discount-motorcycletires.com/home

Many times a product is made decently, except for the critical parts. A HF trailer is a trailer. It's steel quality is decent. Bearings are the critical part. They use a cheap bearing that works. But it won't last very long. Replacing it with a quality new bearing will exponentially increase the life of that trailer. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Gotcha, I was thinking drinking into oblivion and passing out. Amenities not required for such an event and easy access to the outdoors would be preferred But I like your plan too, it has great potential. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Stopped by Walmart down here yesterday. All they had were 2 boxes of 40sw. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I've not kept up with this thread at all. I've also read nothing except for the most recent post by hellmutt...likewise, I don't know what's available in the area...All that said, if I'm living in Ohio by then I'll probably try to tag along for this...what about campgrounds? Look into the Tuskeegee motel just down the road on 28. It's a great place and inexpensive. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Are you on the COG forum? My dad sent his CDI out of his C14 to somewhere in PA, not sure who or where. My comment was just commenting on the power difference between the motors. Not a knock against the C14. I've finally transitioned from sport to sport touring and beyond happy. What use to be an uncomfortable 300 mile day has turned into a more than pleasant 600-700 mile day. Welcome btw. If you aren't a member of the COG forum, sign up, check it out and consider riding down to Suches, GA for the run with the wolf rally in April. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I think you can pick up their top of the line Carbon Fiber model for $369. That's what interests me so much. The quality seems to be top notch, similar to Arai or Shoei. The price point is HJC or ICON.

While Jenna (ninjachic) and I were at the Indy IMS we were at the hotel bar and ended up talking to a Brit that worked for Rolls Royce and a Californian named Brad who claimed to make helmets. I've finally gotten around to researching his brand, Kali. Turns out Jenna and I had drinks with the founder, Brad, of Kali helmets. He was a pretty cool guy, a downhill bicyclist more than a motorcyclist. However that leads to my question, anyone ever heard of Kali helmets? Ever worn them? The patented technology seems interesting... http://www.kaliprotectives.com/moto/

My 1000 can out run a C14. Your ZX14 will put my 1000 to shame. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Well I won't be back in Columbus until mid March...I'd be interested in at least seeing it if you've not found something or changed your mind... Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

The two guns I'd be willing to part with, I'm not entirely sure I'd want to part with... I've got an S&W SW99 chambered in .40 w/25rnds of defense ammo and 100rnds fmj...blackhawk serpa and crossbreed iwb (both left hand) and/or Keltec p3at w/armalaser don hume iwb (right hand) and 50rnds misc ammo and 3mags My thought process here is to find a gun that replaces these two guns in a single gun format. Something small and lightweight for concealed carry in something other than .380. I'd have to consider trade options as I've never really checked valuation on what I've got, so hopefully you aren't interested.

If only...sigh...its not totally out of the question I suppose. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I'll do that, just for giggles. Ya know, Nashville is pretty bad ass. I can't complain about the city and I'll live here again someday. This city has anything and everything there is to offer, and if its not here, its only a few hours at most to find whatever it may be. I guess I'd just like to be closer than 5 hours away from my family. Friends are cool, but family is important. Until I have one of my own choosing, I want to be a bit closer to the one that raised me. It helps that I'm getting a bit irritable at my current job and ready to move on. So I'm job searching whether here, there, or somewhere else. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I couldn't go back to Tipp right now, there's nothing to do there...except raise a family. I need the social activities and downtown to act a fool. Unless you can get me a job, then I'll renegotiate... Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

So I guess I am making a serious effort to move back to Ohio. I think I'd really like to end up in the Columbus area and find something with a good solid dependable company. My background is in metal fabrication, press brakes, shear, saw, turrets, laser, a bit of mill work...anyone have a recommendation or know of any places hiring. I'm going to consider myself entry level still, about 3 years experience. I'd like to find something with similar skills, or get into some entry level programming, quality control work, etc. Thanks. Reminds me of a kid I went to high school with. Did a couple US government projects with him, sat in front of him in that class. We had assigned lockers, his was next to mine... Saw on the news one night, mind you I had talked to him the same day in class, that he'd killed a guy down the street from his house and had been arrested. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
