I did a search on here and I didn't see that anyone picked this up yet. Dick's Sporting Goods has pulled all semi automatic guns from ALL of it's stores nation wide. Google it and you'll find lot of articles. Good thing I bought my last one from there on Saturday.
I've picked up 3 AR's in the last 3 weeks (not all for me though... ). I was talking to a guy at FFF in Middleburg Heights and he said that they will be placing a large order for guns from their distributor very soon and they should have stock in just about everything in the Jan/Feb. time frame.
Those are probably using GEN1 technology which is not very good to say the least. If you are serious about NV you'll want GEN3 stuff and it will run you $4k and up. Just sayin'.
Holy shit...I got some respect from B. I am your elder! You will respect me! Thanks, Brian. Will someone (i.e. everyone) please start sending PM's to RVTPilot with "...just go faster." He won't listen to me when I tell him that.
I'm a bit different in that my opinion is formed after a single trip to Ging and many trips to Nelsons. I would agree that neither is great but I think Ging has more tolerable defects, IMO.
I've been wanting an 1911 for a long time but since I finally got a chance to fondle the new XD45s I'm starting the consider that for my next carry piece...plus it's half the price of the Kimber I really want.
We have wack jobs doing unspeakable acts on campus', in schools, in malls, etc. and yet we continue to let a wack job like Feinstein and others run this country. If you think we're getting screwed now...just you wait.
B, what would you consider the "shit elements" of Ging? Isn't the first goal of a race track to be smooth and free of crazy patching and potholes? Unless the surface condition is like an ice rink I'll take a mostly smooth track over a MX track any day if you catch my drift.
I see...I have a borrowed MBUS front side and I had an old Simmons red dot that I mounted up for shits and giggle. The front sight is taller than the dot is when centered when co-witnessing and no the post isn't adjust way high. Kind of why I asked my question.
