China and India are both developing, raising the demand on oil. Our inflating currency is also raising our prices, that and people's obsession with having SUVs as single person movers.

I think it's perfectly fine to give the random drug screening assuming the proper contracts were signed. It'd show that "yeah, you mean it" when you say you don't want people smoking pot while on shift. Just because they respect the bike doesn't mean it isn't possible for them to accidentally goose the throttle. Inexperienced riders tend to have less skill with percise throttle manipulation than experienced riders, and while you can get killed rather easily on a 600, the room for error is larger. Dumping the clutch on a litre bike will get you in alot more trouble than dumping the clutch on a 600.

True, most clutches are wet clutches(I think Ducati is one of the few that tends to run dry clutches)

I've never known anyone who used amsoil fully syn on a motorcycle, or syn in general on a motorcycle. I just know everyone I talk to says using car motor oil rather than motorcycle oil can make the motorcycle act funny in the transmission area(though apparently rarely does it actually damage it).

Bikes do have a little clunk from 1st to 2nd usually from the point that neutral sits between them. I'd say check your clutch cable as well, and next time you do an oil change make sure to get actual motorcycle oil(the engine and transmission share oil).

Wouldn't a wheelie bar be more cost efficient as well as keep from ruining the rather good handling of the bike?
