I don't usually mind it. I do find it funny how many people give me strange looks. Had one person ask me if I was worried about the engine getting damaged because of the rain. I was kinda like I don't think alot of people understand that a bike is completely capable of operating in wet weather.

So the weather wasn't the most plesant on my ride into work and it brought me to wonder, how many others here will ride in poor weather?(such as rain) I know I've never really come to worry that much on it and my bike gets almost twice the mileage as my car doing just street driving so it saves on gas by enough that the extra matienance doesn't completely offset the savings.

No problem. you can probably also add Suzuki's TL series as well, as I belive the SV shares a similar engine to them. You won't necessarily get the same top speed as a i4 with it, but you get more low end usability and a bike that doesn't look like all the rest. Plus it sounds like an angry sewing machine rather than an angry hand vacuum cleaner.

I'm a fan of the Vtwin simply because it has the power down low which is rather nice when you're running around the streets. as for vibrating themselves apart, I've reguarly taken my SV650 to redline of 11000 and it has yet to vibrate apart. I think the rediculous high vibration is a Harley thing.

I would return them. They'll usually give you some credit for honesty. Most probably someone ordered them and the store mislabeled the packages so they're already having to deal with an unhappy customer somewhere. If you return them then they wouldn't have to deal with a 450 dollar loss.

I suppose for what it's worth I've just got a set of trex stands that I got offf ebay. Other than wanting to add a set of weld points to change it from a disassembleable stand to a fixed stand they work fine. Though from others reviews they tend to be hit or miss stands.

Monopoly is not part of free market capitalism, especially when the monopoly is on a resource that is a necessity of life with how society is currently set up. The goverment has put price ceilings on items that were part of monopolies to prevent them from just charging what they want because people had no other choice if they needed it, problem is alot of the people that are in the chairs currently to make that decision have their hands in the butter when it comes to the oil companies, so why would they want to limit their own personal income when it will just flourish more and they can now afford that yacht that is 110 feet long instead of 90? Kinda makes me wish GM didn't rip up all those train tracks and prevent alot of the early development of public transportation to get more people to buy cars.
