  1. So Jack is the goofy chocolate lab that belongs to GSXR750girl and Rocky. He is having surgery this morning for an intestinal obstruction (he ate something he shouldn't have). He's a real sick boy and could really use your thoughts and prayers today!
  2. Sorry to hear about your friend. At least he can live in those benefiting from his donations. RIP
  3. My heart goes out to his family and friends...RIP Bill
  4. You really don't want to get me started so I'll just let you have a read of my opinion on them... http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=8655&highlight=motorsports+columbus
  5. Damn girl! I leave town and see what happens?! Glad to hear you're ok! I'll see you when we get back in a few days.
  6. I can see it that way too. Just misinterpreted it I guess. Of course Ohio Riders should think about having something to do with QSL bikenight maybe?
  7. Um, I think being a member of Ohio Riders means he has something to do with it. Now, putting a person "in charge" of or posting about an event they rarely or don't plan to attend seems silly. Once again, I ask you to refer to the original 5/7/08 post. Notice Bret hasn't posted anything about the Lodge Bar bike nights because he has to work and is unable to attend.
  8. This is all getting a little out of hand, don't you think? If you will notice on the original post for QSL 5-7-08 http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=13243 Bret is not the one saying he should be the moderator of the QSL posts. Everyone was just surprised to see that he hadn't posted it first and had a laugh. His comment about stealing the post WAS A JOKE!!! His point of posting about QSL every week is to get an idea who to expect and give the new members a chance to put faces/bikes to the names. It's obviously a good idea to meet up at Shell as opposed to finding someone at QSL in the sea of bikes, so kudos to whomever thought of it in the first place. Also, when a bunch of bikes meet at Shell and ride to QSL together, they usually park together. When ppl are walking around looking at bikes and see the OR.net stickers on several of them together, they might think this site is worth checking out. And yes, Nick, most ppl know that QSL has bikenight every week but his posts are about meeting at Shell for the above reasons. And yes, the thread does need to be repeated weekly since it's a different date, therefore it will have different responses. Plus if it was only posted once, new members would not see it after it gets buried in all the rest of the threads as time goes by. Bret does not need to be the moderator necessarily (sorry dear) and anyone can start the thread. But as stated previously, it does make sense for someone to start the thread who will be there. Bret always makes an effort to introduce himself and the group when a new member arrives. He is only trying to give the newbs a reference and make them feel welcome. It's a chance to meet new people!

    Qs&l 5-7-08

Count me out again for this week--> Have to work
  10. Since most of third shift is after midnight, they provided chips and salsa at work tonight. Funny thing is they'll do that but didn't do anything for those of us working on Easter...
  11. Sorry, couldn't make it out to the club the other night. Work gets in the way of life a LOT for me! Hope you guys had a good time. Happy birthday dude!
  12. Happy birthday dude!
  13. That sucks! Sorry your kids had to see the aftermath but glad you're ok. Heal soon!
  14. Notice how the Chesterfields are "good for you" when looking at the ear, nose and throat. They conveniently left out the lungs!
  15. I'm riding to work and get off at 7 so cross your fingers I'm not stuck in the rain. I'll either see you all at QSL or have a wet ride home! As of 6:30a it's looking like scattered showers/T-storms for 4-10 so we shall see. Sometimes riding in the rain is fun because you get to strip in the garage!
  16. When I first made up my myspace I had just gotten my BMX and was learning to bunny-hop. So I came up with BMXBunny for my myspace screenname. Then when I got my Ninja I changed it to 250Bunny and so I used it on here too.
  17. Hey there fellow 250 rider! I have to agree completely with you. People are always telling me I need a bigger bike. But 100 is plenty fast for me! I don't need to go faster than that! Excuse me for having a brain and wanting to keep it at 100% capacity! I understand that having a little more power could be beneficial but mostly just to have it if you need it. 1000cc bikes are just penis extensions for most. And women just don't have to prove themselves!
  18. I rode to work some last year but there's been a couple bikes stolen from our place and another got rear ended when someone pulled into the space it was parked in. I work overnight so I'm hesitant. I park on the sidewalk just outside the door for both security purposes and to avoid parking lot mishaps. If someone did steal my bike I'd have to smack them twice. Once for stealing my bike. And two for stealing a 250 with butterflies on it! I rode a couple days last week. A little chilly on the way home, but not too bad. I'm not an all-weather rider but I plan to ride to work as much as possible this year because my bike gets 70 miles per gallon! Gas was $3.45 on my way home this morning!
  19. I believe that's what we already tried. Don't think at this point the cable is connected to the handle.
  20. Does anyone know anything about fixing handbrakes or know of a place that won't rip me off to have it fixed? It is a 2001 PT Cruiser. It started out having less and less tension. Got to the point there was tension but brake not keeping car from rolling even when on only a very slight incline. Now there is absolutely no tension at all, car even rolls back in level garage. It's supposed to be self-adjusting but cannot find anything about it in the user manual or Chilton or Haynes. We've already checked the bit on the back wheel and it appeared fine but when adjusted slightly, it still didn't make any difference. Thanks!
  21. Sunny and 65! I'm there! Might get a little chilly at night for some of you tho...
  22. ...and we welcome them, not shun or command them!
